It's That "Dirty Bob" Thing That is So Dangerous

We usually like to comment on stories, but this time we will desist...and we will just let you read this one - from a "LGBT" site...and, man, is it hilarious:

Amidst The Threat of ‘Dirty Bob’ Nuclear Expert Urges Tighter Global Security

Siegfried Hecker, one of the world's foremost experts on nuclear weapons, warned that terrorists could steal or purchase sufficient weapons-usable materials to build a crude nuclear weapon and devastate a large city.

And with "Dirty Bob" threatening us, it could be worse than anyone first thought.

Howard Dean: Downies are Good, Everyone Else is "Eee-vil"

In exposing Howard Dean, chairman of the Downtrodden National Committee, and his recent e-mail to me and dozens of other Downies Who Care (DWC), I said the following:

"In fact, if you told the truth, you would let me know about getting to a city to find 100 disgusted and flatlining liberals lined up in heavy coats and boots to tell you how their chances of winning an election any time soon are worse than Usama bin Laden winning a Nobel Peace Prize."

Needless to say, I was kidding. Alas, it appears I hit the proverbial nail right on the head:

Dean roars into town

There were plenty of screams Friday afternoon at Liberty Hall, but none of them came from Howard Dean.

Instead, the new chairman of the Democratic National Committee was cheered enthusiastically by a sign-waving crowd gathered to hear Dean's message that the party must build its strength in traditionally Republican states such as Kansas.

"We need to go everywhere," he told the rally. "There is not one county in this state, I don't care how far west you go, that doesn't have Democrats. We have to be proud of who we are."

It was a message gladly received among the Democratic faithful.

"It was wonderful, very energizing, a very positive, powerful message," said Micheline Burger, who joined nearly 1,000 others in paying $5 to hear Dean, the former presidential candidate. "It gives me a hope there's a good future ahead of us, as opposed to what we've been having the last four years."

So, some lowlife liberals appeared to welcome Howie and his Raving Band o'Nuts. So what, you say? Well, Howie continues to show his softer and warmer side, embracing tolerance and reaching out to bring others into his party:

"Moderate Republicans can't stand these people (conservatives), because they're intolerant. They don't think tolerance is a virtue," Dean said, adding: "I'm not going to have these right-wingers throw away our right to be tolerant."

And concluding his backyard speech with a litany of Democratic values, he added: "This is a struggle of good and evil. And we're the good."

Dean said this same thing during the 2004 campaign: that the Downies should concentrate not on Usama bin Laden, but the real enemy: George W. Bush.

Downies continue to slide towards their ultimate nonsensical end. Here is wishing that it continues its blissful decline.

"Republicans are bad! They are evil! I will gather them up and lock them away...and follow in the footsteps of my ancestor Adolf Dean! Ich bin ein nutty!"

Der Spiegel Goes Der Klumpfen...Again! Yikes!

Once from a German paper is incredible...but twice? In the same week? First, Der Spiegel asked the question, "Could George W. Bush be Right?" Now, in regards to a wholly different subject - how to treat Vladimir Putin's Russia - the mag asks again:

Could Bush Be Right? -- Take Two

US President Bush's love fest with Europe continued on Thursday in Bratislava. Sort of. Leading up to the US-Russia summit, Bush fired off some heavy critiques in the direction of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The partnership, however, remains strong. Could Europe learn from Bush's heavy-handedness?

I hate to ask this, but what happened to the German air and/or water? Did someone drop some sense into it?

Mubarak says: Free Elections, Not Free Elections...

Hosni Mubarak, President of Egypt since Anwar el-Sadat's assassination in 1982, has now said that he wants the Egyptian constitution changed so that multiple candidates can run for President later this year. How wonderful, right? But read between the lines...Mubarak may want an election of clones:

Egypt Leader Allows Opposition on Ballot

In a surprise and dramatic reversal, President Hosni Mubarak took a first significant step Saturday toward democratic reform in the world's most populous Arab country, ordering the constitution changed to allow presidential challengers on the ballot this fall.

An open election has long been a demand of the opposition but was repeatedly rejected by the ruling party, with Mubarak only last month dismissing calls for reform as "futile."

The sudden shift was the first sign from the key U.S. ally that it was ready to participate in the democratic evolution in the Middle East, particularly historic elections in Iraq and the Palestinian territories. Mubarak's government has faced increasingly vocal opposition at home and growing friction with the United States over the lack of reform.

Now, read this part of the story, buried way down:

But Mubarak's order to parliament declared the amendment must state that any potential candidate be a member of an official political party and win the endorsement of parliament, which is dominated by the president's ruling party.

Imagine in this country if the party out of power could only run candidates endorsed by Parliament, run by the party in power.

In short, bullcrap, bullshit, bull-oney.

Sorry, "Hosni," but that kind of "democracy" is not what we expected.

Canadian PM: We Want to Know if the US Wants to Stop Nuclear Missiles

Canadian PM Paul Martin, whom this columnist thought might be an actual friend to America despite his disgusting liberal record, is now trying to be as dumb as his predecessor, Jean "Cretin" Chrétien. Martin now has a two-fer: first, he says Canada will NOT participate in a missile shield to protect North America from nuclear missiles being fired our way. However - and this is pretty hilarious - he says he wants to be able to say no if America fires at those same missiles and our missiles happen to fly over Canadian airspace:

Paul Martin insists U.S. must consult Canada before firing missiles

Prime Minister Paul Martin is insisting that United States seek permission before firing any missiles over Canada.

The insistence came Friday in response to warnings that Canada has abdicated part of its sovereignty by refusing to take part in the U.S. missile-defence project.

The top American envoy to Canada - Paul Cellucci - says Canada would be "outside of the room" while the U.S. decided whether to fire at incoming missiles.

But Martin said Friday: "We would expect to be consulted.

"This is our airspace, we're a sovereign nation and you don't intrude on a sovereign nation's airspace without seeking permission."

Well, let's imagine that hypothetical conversation between an American President and a Canadian Prime Minister in the event of such an attack:

President: Mr. Prime Minister, I have just been told that North Korea has fired several nuclear missiles at the United States. We will need to fire our missile defense system to shoot them down.

Prime Minister: Will your missiles go over Canada?

President: Yes, Mr. Prime Minister. This is because the missiles fired by North Korea are heading over Canada.

Prime Minister: I don't care about their missiles - I care about yours. I want to know what steps you will take to keep your missiles out of my airspace.

President: I cannot take any steps. We have to fire our missiles in the next 30 seconds to intercept the North Korean missiles headed over Canada to hit us.

Prime Minister: I don't care about the North Korean missiles, Mr. President. I will contact the North Koreans and complain about their violation of our airspace. But right now you must keep your missiles out of my airspace, or something serious will happen.

President: You bet your ass something serious will happen! 10 million Americans will be incinerated!

Prime Minister: All I care about is that my country's airspace is not violated.

President: What would have us do? Fire at these missiles and hope they hug the border and we hit them through Alaska?

Prime Minister: That is one possibility.

President: [Whistles] Mr. Prime Minister, I need to fire these missiles RIGHT NOW, and if they go over your country you will just have to live with that. I have my countrymen to protect - I could care less about your precious airspace.

Prime Minister: If you do that, Mr. President, there might be serious consequences. We might get angry - we might even lodge a protest.

President: Lodge away. All you can do is tell your hockey teams not to play here anymore. Goodbye.

The French: Selling Arms to America's Enemies, Again

Remember how after we invaded Iraq that we discovered that not only had France tried to block enforcing UN sanctions on Saddam Hussein but also blocked any war without UN approval, but that Jacques Chirac himself had been selling illegal weapons to Saddam for years, in contravention of UN sanctions? Well, France - and some of her Euro-peon allies are at it again: Selling weapons to America's enemies.

European firms display wares in Iran

As President Bush pressures European allies to get tougher with Iran, NBC News got a rare glimpse inside the country — at an Iranian air show attended by some of the world's leading military contractors eager to do business with America's adversary.

On the island of Kish, mullahs mixed with Ukrainian generals amid photos of the Ayatollah Khomeini. Iran's contempt for the United States was clear — emblazoned underneath a helicopter, in Farsi: "Death to America."

It's generally illegal for American companies to do business with Iran. But NBC News found more than a dozen European defense and aviation firms eager to fill the void. Some do business with the Pentagon, yet they were actively selling their wares to Iran.

Send an e-mail to the Pentagon, to Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld. Tell him: if Euro-peon countries want to sell their shit to Iran, then we will not buy from them any longer. No more contracts to firms which do business in Iran.

E-mail your representative in Congress, e-mail your Senator. Stop these outrages from Europe, which cares not one whit about America or the lives of Americans.

Another Lovely Missive From Howie

Boy, does Howie Dean, head of the Downtrodden National Committee, seem to love me, despite the fact that I think he is whacked out of his head. But now and again he sends me his thoughts, his rants, his kooky ideas, and I love exposing them. I post this with - as usual - no link, but I did insert some of my more interesting comments in brackets. Read and enjoy.

Dear _______,

Tell me what you think about the plan for the future of our Party:

www.democrats.org/plan

[IT SUCKS! - Ed.]

The staff and I have been reading through thousands upon thousands of replies to my letter last week, and I wanted to report back to you on what people are saying about the plan for the future of our party:

www.democrats.org/plan

Two things struck me as I read what grassroots Democrats like you have to say.

[I am NOT a Democrat. I can't imagine being a Democrat even if you paid me. Ed.]

One was the honesty I heard about your very practical concerns at the local level -- many wrote about starting a local party organization, or living in a heavily Republican area where it has been hard to get the resources to make a difference.

[Hmmm..."living in a heavily Republican area." Could this be those red states I have heard so much about? The ones George W. Bush won in November? - Ed.]

But we will meet those challenges -- because what stood out even more was the overwhelming energy and excitement at the grassroots of our party. So many Democrats can't wait to get started -- they want to grow our party from the ground up.

[I think many of them just want to throw up. - Ed.]

And that's exactly what we're going to do.

I've included below a few of the messages from people like you. Please take the time to read them, and to become part of this conversation yourself:

www.democrats.org/plan

[I wanted to read them, but I haven't stopped laughing from the last batch, so maybe I will try next week. - Ed.]

I'm traveling this week and next week -- to exactly the kind of places where we need to start building. I'm just leaving upstate New York, where folks concerned about jobs and fiscal responsibility are learning that you can't trust Republicans with your money.

[Yep - you can't trust Republicans with your money. How interesting that Dems want to give MY MONEY to people who don't deserve it at the same time they are reaching into MY pocket to take it from me? - Ed.]

And I'm on my way to Kansas and Mississippi to talk to Democrats about how to take our agenda and values out into their communities.

[Yep - Mississippi. When did the Dems last win that state...1932? 1936? - Ed.]

But our party will only succeed if you work to build it in your community. Your commitment can make it happen.

[My commitment is to expose the Downies for the frauds that they are. And it seems to be working - the Downies control not one thing in the entire DC region. Yahoo! - Ed.]

Thank you.

Governor Howard Dean, M.D.
Chairman, Democratic National Committee

Thanks, Howie. I look forward to your next letter, in which you will tell me of the millions of happy, smiling Democrats who realize you are bringing them manna from heaven to lead them from the isolation of the political wilderness into power once again. In fact, if you told the truth, you would let me know about getting to a city to find 100 disgusted and flatlining liberals lined up in heavy coats and boots to tell you how their chances of winning an election any time soon are worse than Usama bin Laden winning a Nobel Peace Prize.

But thanks for the laughs anyway, Howie.

Howie says to me: "Read my plan, whydoncha! Read it! We will win! Read the plan! READ IT!!!!!"

Annan Tells Syria: Leave Lebanon...Oh, Wait; Don't Leave So Fast

Kofi Annan, Chief Crook at the Disunited Nations, says that while he wants Syrian forces to leave Lebanon by April, he doesn't want them to feel that that is some sort of deadline:

UN denies Annan demand on Syria's Lebanon pullout

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan's spokesman denied an Al-Arabiya television report that Annan had demanded a Syrian withdrawal from Lebanon by April or sanctions if they do not comply.

"The secretary general never set an April deadline for a withdrawal nor did he support sanctions if the pullout didn't happen by then," spokesman Fred Eckhard said, providing a partial transcript of the network's Annan interview.

In the unofficial transcript of the interview, to be broadcast on Friday, Annan said he would next report to the Security Council by April on Syria's compliance with a council resolution demanding the Syrian withdrawal.

"If it's partial withdrawal, I will have to report. If it's total withdrawal, I will have to report," Annan said, adding that it would be up to the council to impose any sanctions.

Why this moron is still running this criminal organization which American taxpayers continue to fund, while he jaunts around the world eating expensive meals and living the high life is beyond me.

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan, seen here rushing off to an important dinner engagement at some expensive NY restaurant, pauses to tell reporters that while he wants Syrian forces out of Lebanon, he doesn't want to make the Syrians feel bad so he is not setting a timeline for them to leave.

It's Time for Another Round of..."YOU WRITE THE CAPTION!"

"You see, I have four fingers up...that's one more than three, 1 less than 5, 3 more than 2, 2 and 5 equals 9, and, well, yeah."

Disgusting Liberalism at its Finest

We could post 100,000 stories here about the horrible things liberals say and think about America. What is good about current times is that love of our troops overseas is so widespread in America that liberals, who would love nothing more than to spit at returning soldiers and call them "babykillers" and "mosque blower-uppers," are forced to smile, hold their chaw, and mumble, "We love the troops; we hate the war."

By the way, there is nothing that liberals love any more than raising taxes, killing unborn children, and making sure pedophiles have free reign over the children of America.

But sometimes liberals, in their never-ending quest to be disgusting and pathetic, poke their heads out and let everyone without a brain know just what they are really thinking...like this asshole who posted this garbage in a college "newspaper":

No yellow ribbons here

Guilt can only weigh on a person's mind for so long before they crave the act of purgation; to get the weighty feelings of shame and responsibility out of the mind - or at least the guilty parties attempt to find some kind of peace if they cannot rid themselves of a screaming conscience that implicates and indicts its possessor.

That said, perhaps some readers will understand why my friends and I rip yellow ribbon "support the troops" magnets off of cars or wherever people have affixed them. By ripping off these ribbons, we find a way to deal with our guilt, as though with each ribbon swiped we take back a life that was taken by this senseless war started by our senseless president and those who support him.

I will never say, "support the troops." I don't believe in the validity of that statement. People say, "I don't support the war, I support the troops" as though you can actually separate the two. You cannot; the troops are a part of the war, they have become the war and there is no valid dissection of the two. Other people shout with glaring eyes that we should give up our politics, give up our political affiliations in favor of "just supporting the troops." I wish everything were that easy.

This is not a parody, or some comic routine - this jerkoff is serious.

I hope he tries to rip the sticker off the car of a veteran - a really pissed off veteran. And I hope the veteran catches this moron in the act. And then I hope the veteran kicks this idiot's ass until he can no longer move. And then I hope I can shake that veteran's hand for a job well done.

OMIGOD! Der Spiegel Goes Der Klumpfen!

If one listens long enough to dimwits in the European media, one could believe that America is run by a moron. Fortunately, the dolts who run the media outlets every now and again hire someone who comes to their senses, posts an article with some sense to it, and we can all smile.

This happened again, and, as always, most of the blogosphere missed it. Der Spiegel, the leftwing German rag noted for making fun of President Bush, posted this opinion piece on their site by Claus Christian Malzahn...in it, he asks the question which Europeans might have but only say behind closed doors and with secret dread...Could George W. Bush be right?

Could George W. Bush Be Right?

Germany loves to criticize US President George W. Bush's Middle East policies -- just like Germany loved to criticize former President Ronald Reagan. But Reagan, when he demanded that Gorbachev remove the Berlin Wall, turned out to be right. Could history repeat itself?

Many Germans don't like President George W. Bush and like to criticize his foreign policy. But could Bush be right?
Quick quiz. He was re-elected as president of the United States despite being largely disliked in the world -- particularly in Europe. The Europeans considered him to be a war-mongerer and liked to accuse him of allowing his deep religious beliefs to become the motor behind his foreign policy. Easy right?

Actually, the answer isn't as obvious as it might seem. President Ronald Reagan's visit to Berlin in 1987 was, in many respects, very similar to President George W. Bush's visit to Mainz on Wednesday. Like Bush's visit, Reagan's trip was likewise accompanied by unprecedented security precautions. A handpicked crowd cheered Reagan in front of the Brandenburg Gate while large parts of the Berlin subway system were shut down. And the Germany Reagan was traveling in, much like today's Germany, was very skeptical of the American president and his foreign policy. When Reagan stood before the Brandenburg Gate -- and the Berlin Wall -- and demanded that Gorbachev "tear down this Wall," he was lampooned the next day on the editorial pages. He is a dreamer, wrote commentators. Realpolitik looks different.

But history has shown that it wasn't Reagan who was the dreamer as he voiced his demand. Rather, it was German politicians who were lacking in imagination -- a group who in 1987 couldn't imagine that there might be an alternative to a divided Germany. Those who spoke of reunification were labelled as nationalists and the entire German left was completely uninterested in a unified Germany.

What some do not understand is that the current German leader, Dumkopf Gerhard Schroeder, has led his country into an economic meltdown, and he will be voted out of office in the next German elections. Schroeder will soon be forgotten because he is a bitter man who wanted to save Saddam Hussein's disgusting ass. As for George W. Bush, he will be in office until January 2009, and, as it appears more and more likely, will go down as one of America's greatest presidents, if not one of this world's greatest leaders.

One More Reason Why John Howard is a Great Man

Australia's defiant PM, John Howard, who has stood beside the US despite the rantings and ravings of the loony left in his own country, has once again set the agenda down under: now he is leading a movement to slowly end the holocaust of abortion in Australia. One chip at a time, John, one chip at a time...

Australia faces anti-abortion movement

It's been 25 years since Australia tore itself apart debating the rights and wrongs of abortion. But the issue has resurfaced courtesy of the preparedness of Australian Prime Minister John Howard and his advisers to take a leaf out of Karl Rove's tactics textbook and the successful export of U.S. fundamentalist churches to Australia over the past five years.

Over the past month a group of right-wing Australian members of Parliament, sanctioned by the conservative Howard, have begun a campaign to outlaw "late-term abortions." This group is allying itself with churches and anti-abortion groups that are borrowing heavily from their U.S. colleagues when it comes to campaign tactics.

Howard is an unashamed admirer of Rove, President Bush's political tactics mastermind. When Howard introduced his own political strategist, Lynton Crosby, to Bush in 2001, he called him the "Karl Rove of Australian politics."

Liberalism in being pushed back around the world, and democracy is on the march. Thanks to men like George W. Bush and John Howard, maybe abortion will soon be outlawed worldwide, too.

Syrian Captured by Iraq Confesses to Aiding Terrorists

Iraqi television aired the confession of a Syrian officer who confessed to helping train terrorists in Iraq to build bombs and behead hostages.

I think the UN should listen to this. They can have a meeting, vote to do nothing, and then all the little ambassadors can follow Kofi Annan to some expensive New York restaurant where their meals are paid for by their own countries.

Iraqi TV Airs Tape of Purported Confession

Iraqi state television aired a video Wednesday showing what the U.S.-funded channel said was the confession of a captured Syrian officer who said he trained Iraqi insurgents to behead people and build car bombs to attack American and Iraqi troops.

The video also showed an Iraqi who said the insurgents practiced beheading animals to train for decapitating hostages.

Syrian officials could not immediately be reached for comment on the claims.

I bet Bashir Assad is trying to think up a great excuse for why this man was caught in Iraq.

Here's some suggestions:

1) He's really a cook, and meant to say he had some "explosive dishes" in mind;

2) He's really a mechanic, trying to make cars in Iraq run better;

3) He is from Amnesty International, distributing missiles and explosives to needy Ba'athist thugs.

Your guess is as good as mine.

Heck, even Walid Jumblatt Knows the Islamists Have Lost in Iraq

The head of the Druze in Lebanon, Walid Jumblatt, no friend of the United States, did a mea culpa in The Washington Post in today's column by David Ignatius. Jumblatt, who opposed the US invasion of Iraq, now says - hush - that the invasion and the election in January were the tipping scale that will change the Arab world.

The column is so important that I am printing the entire thing here:

Beirut's Berlin Wall

Beirut - "Enough!" That's one of the simple slogans you see scrawled on the walls around Rafiq Hariri's grave site here. And it sums up the movement for political change that has suddenly coalesced in Lebanon and is slowly gathering force elsewhere in the Arab world.

"We want the truth." That's another of the Lebanese slogans, painted on a banner hanging from the Martyr's Monument near the mosque where Hariri is buried. It's a revolutionary idea for people who have had to live with lies spun by regimes that were brutally clinging to power. People want the truth about who killed Hariri last week, but on a deeper level they want the truth about why Arab regimes have failed to deliver on their promises of progress and prosperity.

A crowd was still gathered at Hariri's resting place well after midnight early yesterday. Thousands of candles -- many bearing Christian icons, others Muslim designs -- flickered in a semicircle around the grave and melted together into a multicolored patina of wax. Mourners have written angry messages in Arabic on a nearby wall denouncing Syria, whose troops occupy Lebanon and which many Lebanese blame for Hariri's murder. "The Ugly Syrian," says one. "Get Out of Here," says another. For people who have been frightened even to mention Syria's name, it must feel liberating just to write those words.

Over by the Martyr's Monument, Lebanese students have built a little tent city and are vowing to stay until Syria's 15,000 troops withdraw. They talk like characters in "Les Miserables," but their revolutionary bravado is the sort of force that can change history. "We have nothing to lose anymore. We want freedom or death," says Indra Hage, a young Lebanese Christian. "We're going to stay here, even if soldiers attack us," says Hadi Abi Almouna, a Druze Muslim. "Freedom needs sacrifices, and we are ready to give them."

Brave words, in a country where dissent has often meant death. "It is the beginning of a new Arab revolution," argues Samir Franjieh, one of the organizers of the opposition. "It's the first time a whole Arab society is seeking change -- Christians and Muslims, men and women, rich and poor."

The leader of this Lebanese intifada is Walid Jumblatt, the patriarch of the Druze Muslim community and, until recently, a man who accommodated Syria's occupation. But something snapped for Jumblatt last year, when the Syrians overruled the Lebanese constitution and forced the reelection of their front man in Lebanon, President Emile Lahoud. The old slogans about Arab nationalism turned to ashes in Jumblatt's mouth, and he and Hariri openly began to defy Damascus.

I dined Monday night with Jumblatt in his mountain fortress in Moukhtara, southeast of Beirut. He moved there for safety last weekend because of worries that he would be the next target of whoever killed Hariri. We sat under a portrait of Jumblatt's father, Kamal, who was assassinated in 1976 after he opposed the initial entry of Syrian troops into Lebanon. With me was Jamil Mroue, a Lebanese Shiite journalist whose own father was assassinated by Arab radicals in the 1960s. It was an evening when the ghosts of the past mingled with hopes for the future.

Jumblatt dresses like an ex-hippie, in jeans and loafers, but he maintains the exquisite manners of a Lebanese aristocrat. Over the years, I've often heard him denouncing the United States and Israel, but these days, in the aftermath of Hariri's death, he's sounding almost like a neoconservative. He says he's determined to defy the Syrians until their troops leave Lebanon and the Lahoud government is replaced.

"It's strange for me to say it, but this process of change has started because of the American invasion of Iraq," explains Jumblatt. "I was cynical about Iraq. But when I saw the Iraqi people voting three weeks ago, 8 million of them, it was the start of a new Arab world." Jumblatt says this spark of democratic revolt is spreading. "The Syrian people, the Egyptian people, all say that something is changing. The Berlin Wall has fallen. We can see it."

Where will this amazing Lebanese intifada go next? The answer may lie partly with the Shiite militia, Hezbollah, which is probably the most powerful political organization in the country. Hezbollah officials and leaders of the opposition have been trading signals this week about whether they can form a united front. What's clear is that the Lebanese are fed up with the status quo and that Hezbollah -- like all the other parties -- must adjust to change.

The circle of mourners around Hariri's grave was two and three deep when I visited yesterday afternoon. Many people were weeping, more than a week after his death. In every face you could see that same emotion: Enough!

Read that incredible quote by Jumblatt one more time...he said, "The Syrian people, the Egyptian people, all say that something is changing. The Berlin Wall has fallen. We can see it."

All one can say is...WOW. If Walid Jumblatt sees the positive idea of an election in Iraq, which could hail a period of reform and freedom across the Arab world, why are liberals in the US and Europe still dragging their feet to help Iraq? And why does Jumblatt sound more like George W. Bush than Ted Kennedy?

The world has changed since September 11, 2001 - only liberals are just too damn stupid to realize or notice.

Leftist Paranoia and Anti-Semitism Meet Again

If you dare to read the pages of The Guardian, England's whacko-slacko leftwing rag of a newspaper, you will often come across gems such as this: the frightened rantings of a first-rate nutjob. Patrick Seale, whatever line of work he does, notes that Syria could not possibly have killed former Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri - but he speculates that Israel may have done it, a sure-fire mating of leftwing paranoia and Jew-hating from which the left has been suffering for some time now.

Who killed Rafik Hariri?

If Syria killed Rafik Hariri, Lebanon's former prime minister and mastermind of its revival after the civil war, it must be judged an act of political suicide. Syria is already under great international pressure from the US, France and Israel. To kill Hariri at this critical moment would be to destroy Syria's reputation once and for all and hand its enemies a weapon with which to deliver the blow that could finally destabilise the Damascus regime, and even possibly bring it down.

So, according to this psycho, Israel got a Muslim fanatic to fill his car with explosives in Lebanon, a country which is controlled by Syrian thugs (in contravention of that extremely important organization known as the United Nations), and kill a man who wanted Syrian troops out.

It makes one wonder how long it will be before the international left simply self-explodes out of sheer stupidity.

Livingstone of London: The Punishment Beckons

If you are a regular reader of this column you have heard about how "Red Ken" Livingstone, the Marxist Mayor of London, England, told a Jewish reporter that he was acting "like a concentration camp guard" when bothering to ask Livingstone a question the moron might be forced to answer.

Well, Livingstone has refused to apologize, and now he is on the cusp of being punished by official London:

Livingstone faces inquiry over jibe

A formal investigation was launched yesterday into Ken Livingstone's likening of a Jewish journalist to a Nazi concentration camp guard.

Acting on a complaint from a member of the public, the Standards Board for England, the local government watchdog, will consider whether the Labour Mayor of London breached the Code of Conduct of the Greater London Authority.

If Mr Livingstone is found guilty he faces a range of sanctions and could be barred from office for five years.

Since Londoners keep re-electing this slug even though he thoroughly enjoys financially raping each one of them, perhaps the best punishment would be to take away London's bid for the 2012 Olympics - and then they can continue to thank Mayor Livingstone as British athletes head off to another city in 7 years for the Olympics.

The Death of Liberalism in America: The Weekly Round-Up

As we pointed out last week, liberals around the world are in a mad rush to destroy liberalism - utilizing every facility and resource at their disposal to show themselves as the illiterate, foolish, and incredibly sick and perverted people that they truly are.

Today, this week's DoL round-up has two lovely stories, one domestic and one international.

First the domestic horror show.

Rep. Maurice Hinchey (D-Looneytown) held a town meeting to discuss President Bush's plans to reform and save Social Security. Unfortunately, Hinchey somehow became unhinged during said town meeting and came up with a novel theory: That it was Karl Rove, President Bush's campaign advisor, who was the true source behind the fake memos used by CBS in the "memogate" story which helped to bring down Dan Rather.

Nutjobs 'R' Us Escaped Mental Patient Wanted in Several States

Maurice Hinchey: Could he be suffering from BDS?

Luckily for us, a reader of the blog Little Green Footballs was in the audience, and was taping the comments by Hinchey. This person, incognito, got up and asked Hinchey what evidence he might have as to the truthfulness of this theory. None, said Hinchey - demonstrating that if you have a whacked-out theory and $.50, you can buy a cup of coffee.

Congressman Says Rove Planted CBS Memos

Yesterday Congressman Maurice Hinchey (D-NY) hosted a community forum in Ithaca, New York, on The Future Of Social Security.

An LGF reader was present in the audience and happened to be recording as Rep. Hinchey launched into a barking moonbat conspiracy rant worthy of Democratic Underground, telling the audience he believed the fake CBS memos were planted by Karl Rove to discredit Dan Rather, and divert attention from President Bush’s “draft dodging.”

When our reader asked Hinchey if he had evidence for these charges, he first said, “Yes, I do,” but when asked a second time he admitted he did not.

Our reader pressed the issue, “Don’t you think it’s irresponsible to make charges like that?” Hinchey replied, “No, I don’t, I think it’s very important to make charges like that ... I think it’s very important to combat this kind of activity in every way that you can, and I’m willing, as most people are not, to step forward in situations like this and take risks.”

And the crowd burst into applause and cheering.

Hinchey is just another dimwit in the minority (DIM) in Congress - a Downie of the worst sort. But what is so interesting is that not one major media outlet has mentioned this story. Ignorance? Embarrassment for Hinchey?

Now from the international scene comes a story straight out of Caracas - in this case, Caracas, Venezuela - in which Hugo "Little Hitler" Chavez, one of the dumbest and most annoying world leaders with the exception of Jacques Chirac, said that he "believes" that President Bush is out to assassinate him. But, as with Rep. Hinchey, Chavez has enough proof to fit into a thimble and still have room for his little finger. Actually, he may have room for his head in there, as well.

Chavez says US plans to kill him

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has said he believes the US government is planning to assassinate him.

Mr. Chavez - who offered no evidence to back his claim - said any attempt on his life would backfire and threatened to cut off oil supplies to America.

"I am Stupid, hear me Yap
My entire brain is made of crap
And I know so little that my IQ is 22
Bush is coming for me
I don't have time to take a pee,
I won't let Juan Valdez come and take me!"

There seems to be a thread which ties these two seemingly unrelated stories together. Perhaps it is...gas from too much rich food? Maybe it is painful gout...or some problem like that of Jimmy Carter: perhaps these men are visualizing large rabbits attacking them. It can't be powerlessness for both...while Hinchey is a Dimwit in the Minority (DIM), Hugo Putz is, after all, el Presidente of Venezuela.

But, wait...if you check the one phrase running through both stories, you see it is "George W. Bush." Voila! These two clearly maniacal doofuses are having problems coping with reality because they oppose George W. Bush!

So, to sum up, it is clear that a distressed congressman and the leader of Venezuela, which is, the last time I looked, a country perhaps in South America, are both suffering from BDS - Bush Derangement Syndrome. Some doctors believe that sufferers of this crippling malady lose what is left of their minds as the image of a powerful President George W. Bush continues to change the world for the better...and that it forces victims to utter nonsense, pedantic bullcrap, and do things that ordinary people just would not do.

Perhaps someone in the know could write a paper on BDS, so we can all find out what has caused so many liberals to be stupider and sillier than usual.

[Thanks to Littlegreenfootballs for the use of the story and the link on Hinchey.]

Muslim "Scholars": Benjamin Franklin, American President, Warned Against Jewish Influence

You heard it right, folks...alleged "scholars" of Islam have discovered in the personal papers of Benjamin Franklin a "paper" or a "speech" allegedly delivered by Franklin to the Constitutional Convention in 1789 (considering that the convention was held in 1787, Franklin sure waited a long time to make the speech) in which "President Franklin" said that all Jews should be expelled from America because - get this - in 100 years (1887? 1889?) the Jews would own "palaces" and the Christians would be their slaves.

It is important to note that 1) Benjamin Franklin was NOT ever elected President of the United States; he died in 1790, during the first term of the FIRST President, George Washington; 2) as mentioned above, the Constitutional Convention was long over by 1789, when Franklin allegedly made this "speech"; and 3) there is no such "paper" or "speech" in Franklin's papers.

MEMRI - the Middle East Media Research Institute - which catalogs the foolish and misguided rants of Muslim fanatics in the US and around the world, not to mention their insipid desire to find Jewish control over every aspect of people's lives, clocked these psychos with a wonderful story...read it and laugh, or cry, when you realize how delusional these sickos truly are:

Kuwaiti Daily and Al-Manar TV Recycle Forged Nazi Document: America Has Become Hostage to the Jews, as Benjamin Franklin Predicted

On January 16, 2005, Muhammad Yousef Al-Malifi wrote an article in Al-Siyassa which raised the Franklin forgery. The following are excerpts:

"My article today is not like other articles… Today, I will present to the readers what is hidden from them, but not from the political and intellectual elite.

"The document I will present today was written by a former American president [sic]. This document spares us the writing of 1,000 articles about the danger in America's falling into the hands of Israel, its enslavement to Tel Aviv, and what this fall will do to the American people.

"This document is over 212 years old, and it warns of the danger posed by the Jews to America. The original copy of this strategic document has been in the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia for the past 214 years. The document was written by Benjamin Franklin when he served as the U.S. president some two centuries ago.

"When I present to the readers this serious document, which was first translated by 'Araf Al-Baytam (obviously a complete moron...ed.), I will prove that fools have begun to rule America – after it was ruled by wise men as this late president [Franklin].

"The text reads: 'The U.S. is in great danger, and this danger is the Jews. Gentlemen, everywhere Jews are and everywhere they settle, they [bring down] the moral level, harm moral decency, and act to oppress. They always aspire to suffocate the nation financially and to obtain wealth for themselves, as happened in Portugal and Spain over 1,700 years ago… Yet if the civilized world today would return Palestine to them, to which they claim to have a right, they [the Jews] would find many reasons not to go back there. Why? Because the Jews are bloodsuckers, extortionists, and people whose nature this is, and who are incapable of living with each other. Moreover, they must live with the 'other,' that is, the Christians and others who do not belong to their race, in order [for them to be able to] rip them apart. Gentlemen, if the Jews are not expelled by law from the U.S., within less than 100 years they will stream en masse into our land, take control of it, destroy us, and change the structure of our State … and then we will lose our character and identity.' [This is what Franklin said] and this is what is happening today in Iraq (Yup...Franklin just KNEW a future President would invade a country which did not exist in 1787 or 1789!...ed.).

"'[Franklin continues:] Gentlemen, if the Jews are not expelled within 100 years, our children will work the fields to feed the Jews, while the Jews and their children will live in palaces, sign deals, make money, and become intoxicated with joy – while our children suffer from poverty. O Americans, I warn you: If you do not expel the Jews for good, your children and your children's children will curse you in their graves. Know that the Jews think that we are not Americans – that we have no right to America, even though they have lived with us for generations. This is because the ravening beast cannot change its nature. O Americans, you must know that all the anarchy in the United States today is only because of the Jews.'

"This is the end of the document.

"Noble readers, this document exposes the truth. Had the rulers of America been a good second generation to their predecessors, America would not today have become hostage to the Jews' policy, and Washington would not be aiding Tel Aviv in its satanic spirit.

"I have no more accurate explanation [for what is happening today] than the content of this document, which spells out America's situation with the Jews today with great accuracy, letter by letter and moment by moment.

"O late American president [Benjamin Franklin]! If only you could see what has happened to your people, and how your prophecy – about the establishment of a country of devils at the expense of your wretched people – has come true!"

I would love to say that these alleged "scholars" are as dumb as mules, but I love animals and I hate to compare these assholes to mules.

Paris Mosque Gets the "Swastika" Treatment

The main mosque in Paris, France, was painted with swastikas in a horrific display of vandalism. I personally am not thrilled to hear of a Nazi symbol being used against anyone. But listen to the offended Muslims - after years of attacking Jews across Europe and defacing synagogues and Jewish cemeteries, the Muslims are upset! All I can say to them is: "Courage, Camille."

Vandals Scrawl Nazi Mark on Paris Mosque

PARIS (AP) - Vandals scrawled swastikas and other Nazi references on the walls of the Grand Mosque of Paris, the best-known Muslim religious site in France, religious leaders said Monday.

The vandalism by unknown assailants, discovered Monday, comes as officials have stepped up security around Jewish and Muslim sites in France amid an increase in such attacks in recent years.

"This intolerable act of Islamophobia is a worrying symptom in the capital," Dalil Boubakeur, director of the Paris mosque, said in a statement.

The vandals, writing in what appeared to be ink from a black marker, scrawled about a dozen swastikas, other Nazi references and "Get Out" on the white walls around the imposing, decades-old mosque in southeastern Paris.

The Muslims are making more enemies for themselves in many European countries. Maybe they will turn away from violence against others, in which case violence will not be borne on them.

"Rude Rubbers" Resigns

Another UN technocrat with his hand - or, in this case, his dick - in the till has gone down for the count. UN High Commissioner for Sexual Fantasies Refugees Ruud Lubbers resigned on Sunday after being accused by numerous women of being a touchy-feely kinda guy. Secretary General Kofi Annan, deep in the doo-doo of his own crooked reputation, was so busy trying to stay one step ahead of the cops coming to arrest him that he barely spoke to Lubbers before Ruudy threw in the towel and left town.

Another scandal at the UN? Don't tell me!

U.N. Refugee Chief Resigns Under Pressure

UNITED NATIONS (AP) - After months of criticism, Secretary-General Kofi Annan decided that U.N. refugee chief Ruud Lubbers had to go because of the growing controversy over allegations that the former Dutch prime minister had sexually harassed female staffers.

Lubbers didn't go easily. He resigned Sunday but proclaimed his innocence, saying he felt insulted and accusing Annan of giving in to "media pressure."

At a meeting with Annan on Friday, U.N. diplomats said the secretary-general offered the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees two choices - resign or face suspension and charges of breaking U.N. rules.

Allegations first surfaced last year that he had made unwanted sexual advances toward a female employee, identified in media reports as an American. But it was only on Friday that the British newspaper The Independent published the first detailed description of her allegations and statements from four other women who didn't file official complaints but claimed Lubbers sexually harassed them.

One down, more to follow. The resignations over at UN HQ should get thick and heavy in the coming weeks and months.

Is Lebanon the next "Iraq"?

You can almost feel a "Ukraine" or "Iraq" moment coming again, as the people of Lebanon, Christian and Muslim alike, rise up against their occupiers from Syria and demand an end to Syrian control and a free and democratic government.

I personally think that the murder of former PM Hariri was the straw that broke Assad's back. The Syrians know that they killed him, the Lebanese people know that they killed him, and even the French, stupider than a block of cement, know that the Syrians killed him.

Thousands in Lebanon Protest Government

BEIRUT, Lebanon (AP) - Tens of thousands of opposition supporters shouted insults at Syria and demanded the resignation of their pro-Syrian government in a Beirut demonstration Monday, marking a week since the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.

Beating drums and waving Lebanese flags, those of their own parties and portraits of past leaders killed during the 1975-90 civil war, the protesters gathered at the site where Hariri was killed Feb. 14 in a bombing that the opposition blames on Damascus.

Some in the crowd yelled "Syria out!" and "We don't want a parliament that acts as a doorkeeper for the Syrians," competing with loud insults shouted against Syrian President Bashar Assad.

In Damascus, Arab League chief Amr Moussa said Syria will "soon" take steps to withdraw its army from Lebanese areas in accordance with a 1989 agreement. It was not clear whether that meant Syria would completely leave Lebanon as demanded by the international community.

Moussa spoke after a meeting with Syrian President Bashar Assad. Syria itself has made no announcements about troop withdrawals.

Imagine for a moment - had Hariri not been killed, would the UN be pressuring Syria to remove its troops from Lebanon? Would Kofi Annan, busily trying to avoid questioning the Oil-for-Food scandal while trying to keep Ruud "Rude" Lubbers on the payroll, even bother with a measly old UN resolution calling for an end to Syrian occupation of Lebanon? Don't bet on it.

And now Christian leader Michel Aoun says that he will return to Lebanon and run for President - and even he blames the Syrians for Hariri's death. And now Aoun says that he will demand an end to the Syrian occupation before the new Lebanese elections - and those are in May of this year.

Syria and Iran are banding together to "face external threats." Led by President George W. Bush, this "external threat" is called freedom.

Moron Takes Own Life; No One Cares

Well, another leftwing moron has gone and done away with himself, sort of a la Mitch Snyder. Hunter S. Thompson, whose drug-addicted crappola made liberals chuckle and feel good about sniffing large amounts of extremely expensive nose powder, has blown his own noggin' clear off:

Hunter Thompson commits suicide; "Fear and Loathing" author dead at 67

Hunter S. Thompson died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his home in Woody Creek on Sunday night. He was 67.

Regarded as one of the most legendary writers of the 20th century, Thompson is best known for the 1972 classic "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas." He is also credited with pioneering gonzo journalism - a style of writing that breaks tradition rules of news reporting and is purposefully slanted.

Pitkin County Sheriff Bob Braudis, who is a close personal friend of Thompson, confirmed the death. His son, Juan, found him Sunday evening.

My condolences now go out to all the drug-crazed idjits who worshipped this loser.

Hunter S. Thompson: He contributed nothing to humanity

Why Australia is America's True Friend

Funny, but despite the United States spending billions upon billions of dollars and tens of thousands of American lives to save the nations of Western Europe, it is those countries who seem to hate us the most, and who do their utmost to oppose us and reward the countries and entities who wish to do us harm.

But, there is a country who has never received American help - in fact, they have fought side by side America in Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan, and their leader backs America whenever he can. What country could this be? Australia, that's who. And the more you look, it is the Australians, even more than the British (who owe us their survival in many ways), who side with America and protect her back.

This latest opinion piece in The Australian newspaper serves as another reminder why John Howard, Australian PM, deserves the everlasting thanks of the American people:

Editorial: Europe must accommodate Bush vision

RONALD Reagan once described himself as a bull who took his own china shop around with him.

He meant, of course, that he preferred plain-speaking to euphemism and was prepared to bypass diplomatic niceties to achieve worthwhile results. In this, as in much else, George W. Bush is Reagan's heir, and today he steps into the biggest china shop of all. While it is easy to overestimate the degree of anti-Americanism within the European Union – much of eastern Europe is fervently pro-US, and Britain and Italy are among the US's closest allies – in the post-9/11, and especially post-Iraq world there are certainly pockets of wounded pride. As he swings through what US Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld famously dubbed "old Europe", President Bush can expect the red carpet, but will need to watch for banana peels.

In a press conference last week, Mr Bush conceded it was after 9/11 that Europe and the US began to "talk past each other". This week's visit is about fence-mending, and Mr Bush will turn on the Texan charm – but not budge an inch on any issue of substance, especially Iraq. Neither should he. While the leaders of Germany and France continue to pay excessive attention to internal anti-American elites and drag the EU chain on assistance with Iraqi reconstruction, more than 8 million Iraqis showed last month they intend to take full advantage of the democratic opportunity afforded them by the US-led overthrow of Saddam Hussein. Among the collateral benefits of that overthrow are democratic openings across the Middle East that promise new pathways towards a settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The apparent determination of French President Jacques Chirac and German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder to deal the EU out of the biggest game in town will appear increasingly anachronistic.

Former US secretary of state Henry Kissinger once said he would pay attention to Europe when it had a telephone number. By basing himself near EU headquarters in Brussels for this visit, Mr Bush signals he understands Europe now has a voice. In return, EU leaders must get over their unproductive resentment towards Mr Bush. Apart from recent events in the Middle East, what strengthens Mr Bush's legitimacy is his re-election victory and the deeper changes it portends beneath the surface of US political life. If European leaders ever believed they could simply bide their time until the US produced a leader who thinks as they do, that moment has gone. The Bush vision, which is based on an aggressive assault on terrorism and an activist seeding of democracy, is the direct result of what the US learned on 9/11. It will not go away. And when we see the US mounting a full-scale assault on AIDS and hunger in Africa, or following hot on Australia's heels with on-the-ground tsunami relief in Aceh, we are looking at another side of the same vision.

But Australia and the world can greatly benefit from a new era of co-operation between Europe and the US, which after all have many more values in common than dividing them. On nuclear proliferation in Iran, the US has looked with a sceptical eye on efforts by Britain, France and Germany to talk Tehran around to common sense. Yet those efforts deserve US support. Economically, Mr Bush recently put aside nationalism with a promise to cut farm subsidies. If the EU is willing to follow suit, it may start to enjoy something closer to the level of economic growth seen in the US and Asia. In the four-year chill between Washington and Europe, Australia has aligned itself with the US on the issues that matter. But as Swedish Prime Minister Goran Persson pointed out in an exclusive interview with The Weekend Australian, this has not marginalised us in Europe, because many EU countries have taken the same positions. As demonstrated by our Europe-friendly policy on arms sales to China, it is our national interest that drives foreign policy settings. So a diversity of powerful democratic voices in international politics is a wholly good thing – as long as they talk to, and not past, each other.

I printed the whole thing because it might disappear from their website, and people need to see this and be reminded of what good friends the Australian people and government are to America.

Want a vacation tip? Don't go to Europe, don't go to Asia, don't go to South or Central America - especially Mexico. Go to Australia, spend your money, and when you see an Aussie in the street say to them, "Thanks for being there for us."

The New York Times: Investigating Bush after Excusing Clinton

The liberals told us in the 1990s that smoking marijuana was "no big deal" after President Clinton admitted to it, as did Vice President Al Gore. Heck, liberals said: it is no one's business if they did, since there is nothing wrong with it.

Turn the clock forward to 2005, and watch as the disease of "liberal hypocrisy" rears its ugly head. The NY Times, one of the nation's most disgusting liberal newspapers which has been caught time and time again in outright lies and obfuscations in the pages of their paper, has now focused on President Bush once again. Their beef? Some dimwit brought them tapes taken in 1998 - without the-then Governor of Texas' knowledge - in which he "allegedly" admits that he may have smoked marijuana. So, asks the small gnome, where is the liberal message of "it's no big deal" and "who cares"?

As usual, with liberals, those messages do not apply when it comes to Republicans:

In Secretly Taped Conversations, Glimpses of the Future President

He refused to answer reporters' questions about his past behavior, he said, even though it might cost him the election. Defending his approach, Mr. Bush said: "I wouldn't answer the marijuana questions. You know why? Because I don't want some little kid doing what I tried."

Watch over the coming days, as hypocritical liberals mock the President and accuse him of holding back more drug abuse allegations.

The question is: isn't there just one liberal in America who will come forward and say, "Hey, folks...our guys did it and we gave them a pass, so how about we do the same for Bush?"

Don't hold your breath.

The BBC: One of the "Axis of Evil Journalist Liars" Apologizes for anti-Israel Story

Well, one more time the "Beeb" in England, tagged as one of the three worst pro-terror and anti-Semitic journalistic sites in the world (CNN and al-Jazeera are the other two), has been forced to apologize for a fraudulent and phony story which it reported with gusto before being CBSed out of the closet:

BBC issues apology over Thought

The BBC has apologised after receiving complaints over a recent edition of BBC Radio 4's Thought For The Day.
In the programme, on 10 February, the Reverend John Bell of the Iona Community spoke of meeting an Arab man conscripted into the Israeli Army.

Dr Bell told listeners the 19-year-old corporal had been jailed for refusing to shoot Palestinian schoolchildren.

However, the remarks angered many members of Britain's Jewish community, who said the account could not be true.

Several people told the BBC that Israeli Arabs are exempt from conscription into the army. Moreover, it would be impossible for a 19-year-old to rise to the rank of corporal.

Dr Bell has since admitted, in a letter to the BBC, that his account contained "two factual errors".

"One was that the soldier was 21 and not 19, thus he would have been of the age to be a corporal.

"The second is that he did not say he was conscripted. My presumption regarding conscription is wrong as regards Arab Israelis.

"I perfectly understand that at a time when Jewish sensitivity in Britain is running high because of anti-Semitism that part of my remarks might have been interpreted as furtive racism.

"However, such a conjecture would be completely untrue. For any unintended dismay I may have caused, I apologise unreservedly."

The BBC added their own apology, on the Thought For The Day website, acknowledging that the facts should have been checked prior to broadcast.

"We have talked to the Israeli authorities and we are unable to find any evidence to support the story told to Dr Bell and recounted by him on Thought for the Day.

"The Religion and Ethics Department apologises on behalf of the BBC and regrets the offence that was caused."

At a time when Muslim sickos are using their every thought to accuse Jews of slaughtering little children, of hurting old people, of stealing land, leave it to the BBC to join the parade and make up stories to hurt Israel.

Why the British people continue to fund the BBC with their tax dollars is a mystery to me.

Leftwing Looneytown Expands Its Hold on the Web

Do you want some more evidence that the only arguments that liberals have today can be broken down into just 7 classic pieces of propaganda?

Here is the liberal argument to why they lost 3 elections in a row: 1) President Bush is a Nazi, 2) President Bush and his entire administration are Nazis, 3) John Negroponte is a Nazi, 4) the GOP leaders in Congress are all Nazis, 5) Donald Rumsfeld in certainly a Nazi, 6) Bush and his Nazi administration stole two elections, and 7) in 2006 the liberals will sweep to power because, as numbers 1-6 indicate, Bush is a Nazi.

Don't believe it? Check out some of the comments on this site, dedicated to serving the needs of seriously deluded and woefully maladjusted cretins known as liberals:

Talkleft.com

It is fun to check these fruitcakes out and watch them continue to bemoan why the majority of Americans no longer subscribe to their patently offensive and silly ideology.

Conservatives Hail President Bush

Of course President Bush is a strong leader, and to hail that fact the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) held in Washington showed just how strong he is.

Eat your hearts out, liberals.

Downtrodden Party Leader Set to run for President in 2008

Well, good old Joobo has an exclusive...a Downtrodden Party leader with impeccable national security credentials and a lack of scandal in his background - compared with the rest of his party - has stepped forward to say that he will run for the Downie's Presidential nomination in 2008.

Who is this politician? Is he a liberal? A moderate? How does he feel about taxes, abortion, the war in Iraq?

Well, your friend and newsman Joobo has discovered just whom this politician is who will try to lead the Downies to victory in 2008:

Susan Estrich: "I'm sure some people consider my opinions silly"

It is always enlightening to see liberals admit that they are stupid, or retarded, or somehow lacking in intellect. So when Susan Estrich, who was co-chairman of Michael Dukakis' incredibly hilarious 1988 Presidential Loser tour, wrote this in an online blog, you know she was only admitting the least of her lack of brains and brawn:

WHERE ARE THE GREAT WOMEN THINKERS?

"I'm sure some people consider my opinions silly."

No shit, Sherlock. Count millions of Americans in as "some people."

Loretta Sanchez: Phony Congresswoman Bitchslapped by Donald Rumsfeld

If anyone tuned in to the hearings before the House Armed Services Committee the other day, they would have been amazed to see the nonsense of National Doofus Masquerading as Someone in Congress (NDMSC), Loretta Sanchez (D-Psycho), who tried to outwit Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and instead got the equivalent of a massive Rocky punch to her solar plexus.

The transcript (courtesy of The Washington Post) does not fully illustrate the duncery (is that a word?) of Sanchez, but it is fun to read nonetheless:

Transcript: Rumsfeld Testifies Before House Panel

[...]Over the past year, we've received incredibly widely fluctuating estimates of that. And I think you have a real credibility problem on this issue.

RUMSFELD: Fluctuations of what?

SANCHEZ: The fluctuations of -- the numbers that you bandy around about how many troops we really have out there that are Iraqi police, et cetera, et cetera.

First you estimate that there are currently 136,000 trained Iraqi security forces in the field. About 79,000 of those are police and other interior ministry troops.

While the police a role in counterinsurgency, they're not organized, trained or equipped to engage in combat operations. We rely mainly on the Iraq army and the national guard to take the lead in counterinsurgency fighting, not the police.

Isn't that right, Mr. Secretary?

[...]

RUMSFELD: ...First, there's no question but that incidents like you described have occurred. They have occurred in militaries across the world and they happen. I think that fewer of them have happened lately, and they're getting better.

Second, you're correct that the strength of the insurgency is one part of the equation. The other is the capability and the numbers. It's not just numbers, but capability of the security forces, plus the progress on the economic and political side. I think it's important to keep those things in mind, because they are going to affect the intensity and the insurgency.

Third, in the materials we provide you, there are, I think, 12 or 15 different categories. There are police, civil intervention force, emergency response, border enforcement, highway patrol, dignitary protection, special police commandos for the interior department, army, national guard, intervention force, special operations, air force, navy for the military.

Now, you say we bandy around numbers. They're not my numbers. I don't invent them. They come from General Petraeus.

If you look up there, what you'll see is that the numbers originally, as I said in my remarks, included site protection people. And that dropped it by about 70,000.

We originally talked about on duty only, then we changed it and said trained, then we took the site protection out.

This has all been perfectly transparent to everybody. There's no bandying at all.

And now we're saying trained and equipped, just in the ministry of interior and defense. They are Petraeus' numbers.

Third...fourth...

SANCHEZ: I have Petraeus' numbers. They're different than your numbers, by the way.

RUMSFELD: Well, what's the date? They aren't different because these came from Petraeus. He may have two sets of numbers, but they are not different if the date's the same. The date on my paper here is February 14th. What's yours?

SANCHEZ: December 20th.

RUMSFELD: Not surprising there's a difference.

You can almost hear the

BOOM

which Rumsfeld landed on Sanchez's empty but thick skull.

Only Fox News showed this exchange - CNN and MSNBC chose not to embarrass someone who regularly appears on their dimwitted shows as an "expert" in something when she is clearly over her head.

I feel sorry for Sanchez's constituents in California. Actually, come to think of it, I don't - voting for this dummy and sending her to represent them in DC was their idea, not anyone else's.

Loretta Sanchez, American Idiot

This photo of National Imbecile Loretta Sanchez does not clearly indicate just where Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld jammed a right uppercut into her pudgy face.

American Nazi Leftwingers and Their "Bush is Hitler" Fascination Revealed

When they are not throwing shoes or throwing tantrums about what silly demented idjits they truly are, American liberals (as opposed to the sickeningly whacked out European liberals) have some fascination with saying that "George W. Bush is Hitler." Somehow, liberals have forgotten that Hitler was a dictator who killed millions. But to liberal fruitcakes, there is no difference between the two, showing their true stupidity or the utter nonsense of their beliefs.

And to prove how senseless these liberals are, check out how they show their stupidity: defacing a sign of Bush put up by a conservative group:

Hollywood Vandals Brand Bush a Nazi

We previously reported the conservative group, Citizens United, planned to erect two pro-Bush billboards in Hollywood "thanking" Hollywood for Bush's reelection. As planned, the signs were created, coinciding with the buildup to Oscar night. However, one of those tongue-in-cheek billboards was seriously vandalized Wednesday night, when a Swastika was painted on President Bush's forehead.

Few Angeleans saw the disfigured sign though, since Citizens United anticipated the vandalism, and had previously arranged with the sign company that their billboards would be immediately repaired if, in fact, they were damaged.

True to their word, the overnight damage was repaired within hours.

Check out the savagery of liberal garbage in all its glory:

Liberals...the scum of human existence.

The Death of Liberalism in America: The Weekly Round-Up

As part of my mission to cast the light of truth on liberals and liberalism and the destructive influence that is has had and continues to have on America, I will now have a weekly round-up of stories showing that 1) liberalism is dying its natural death, and 2) why Downtroddens, and no one else, are hastening liberalism's death.

First up this week: three juicy stories on this theme.

Here's story number one: why Hillary Clinton, US Senator and snob, has no chance whatsoever of being elected President of these United States:

Friends no more?

I hope Sen. Hillary Clinton isn't counting on help from Hollywood mogul David Geffen in her possible run for the White House in 2008. Geffen, a generous supporter and pal of Bill Clinton when he was President, trashed Hillary's prospects last night during a Q&A at the 92nd St. Y. "She can't win, and she's an incredibly polarizing figure," the billionaire Democrat told his audience. "And ambition is just not a good enough reason." Geffen's dis was met with hearty applause.

And Geffen, a far-left liberal who is in touch with the gay side of American politics more than most people, in fact has put his finger on what is probably true: if Hillary were to somehow get the Downies' Prez nod in 2008, conservatives and men would line up for hours if need be to vote against her. If you think John Kerry lost the red states, you will see Hillary lose some blue states as well.

Now for story number two: Let's call this one "Liberals who have no arguments resort to violence." Richard Perle, formerly of the Pentagon and a long-time personality on the American national security front, put himself on the line and actually showed up to debate Howard Dean, new chairman of the Downtrodden National Committee. Of course, it is always good when people debate their differences with reasoned argument and passion in their words. But some liberals cannot tolerate debate - they need to use violence to achieve their aims:

Protester Throws Shoe at Richard Perle

Portland, Ore. (AP) - Howard Dean, the newly minted leader of the Democratic Party, and former Pentagon adviser Richard Perle made clear their opposing views on the war in Iraq during a debate marred by a protester who tossed a shoe at Perle.

Perle had just started his comments Thursday when a protester threw a shoe at him before being dragged away, screaming, "Liar! Liar!"

Perle, who was Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld's top policy adviser, was a key architect of the U.S.-led invasion of Iraq, and Dean is among the war's most prominent opponents.

Now, for a minute, imagine that a right-wing protestor threw a shoe at Dean. CNN, MSNBC, and the entire liberal media intelligentsia in the US would have issued news alerts, shown footage, and called for arrests. Oh, and they would tell you how terribly intolerant conservatives are to debate. Of course, none of that happens when a leftwinger displays his or her violent side. I call this the "Rachel Corrie Effect." I will demonstrate that effect more in the coming days and weeks.

And, third, some more "reasoned" argument from the demented left in America: I fucking hate republicans.

More evidence from three arenas that liberalism is dying, and that liberals are the generals leading the fight to kill it.

Crummy Newspaper Threatens Blogger

The Tulsa World newspaper has threatened Michael D. Bates of BatesLine for using excerpted portions of stories from their paper, and for linking to their paper's sites.

Here's what Joobo is going to do to stand with Bates: We will for now on link to as many stories on The Tulsa World site that we can.

No threats should come from newspapers. None will be tolerated.

American-Hating Child Molester Sides With Terrorists

Nope, it is NOT Michael Jackson, because he is an American-loving child molestor. But Whacko Jacko is too busy fending off new reports of diddling little boys to be concerned about terrorism except his own.

No, this molestor is Scott Ritter, dickhead du jour, who is now writing a column for - get this - Al-Jazeera, the Muslim Terror Network. Check out Der Sicko's words of disgust for the US military:

The Salvador option

By any standard, the ongoing American occupation of Iraq is a disaster.

The highly vaunted US military machine, laurelled and praised for its historic march on Baghdad in March and April of 2003, today finds itself a broken force, on the defensive in a land that it may occupy in part, but does not control.

The all-out offensive to break the back of the resistance in Falluja has failed, leaving a city destroyed by American firepower, and still very much in the grips of the anti-American fighters.

My question is: why hasn't this lowlife been sent back to to the US to face charges of child molestation? The pig deserves a trial so his sickness and perversions can be exposed.

Ritter is a traitor to the US, plain and simple. Hiding behind the Muslim veil to rank on his native land is more than disgusting - it is treason.

"Hi, I am Scott Ritter. When I am not doing things to hurt the United States, I am busily looking up young children on internet sites to have sex with. What's so wrong with that? Is America trying to get me for loving children?"

Howie Dean: "YOU Run This Party, Not ME!"

Fortunately for little old me, I get regular e-mails from the Downtrodden National Committee - just so I can keep in touch with what the Downies are up to. It is so refreshing to check my e-mail and see that another wonderfully kind missive from these loony jerks has graced my personal space.

Unfortunately, I cannot link to this one. Fortunately, I didn't read it, and avoided having to throw my guts up this morning. But I post it for your perusal and entertainment (if you hurt yourself laughing, I am not responsible!):

Dear ________,

You run this party.

On Saturday, I was honored when your representatives on the Democratic National Committee elected me Chairman. And I can't wait to get started. But when they voted, it wasn't about me -- they were voting for a plan for the future of our party.

That plan came from people like you -- from conversations I had with ordinary Democrats across the country. When those 447 people voted in Washington this weekend, they united around that plan.

Now I'm asking you to do the same. Those 447 people were a good start, but make no mistake -- I know that this is also your party. And our plan to reform the party can only become a reality with your endorsement.

Please read our plan -- and commit to making it a reality:

www.democrats.org.plan

Your representatives in the DNC mandated bottom-up reform -- growing the Democratic Party in your neighborhood and every other community in America. They voted to compete in every state for every level of office. And they demanded a Democratic Party that stands up for itself and for an agenda that reflects our values.

They didn't elect me because they think I can accomplish these things. They elected me because I believe that only you can.

Every single one of us must take responsibility for building our party. It's not enough to simply vote for Democrats -- in order to win, every one of us must deliver our message and values into our own community.

That means changing the way we do business, and that's what this plan is about:

www.democrats.org/plan

The Republicans' biggest victory has been to convince many Democrats that we can only win by abandoning our values and doing what they say.

It's one of their favorite tactics -- just watch how right-wing pundits talk endlessly about the internal politics of our party. They try to divide Democrats by ideology just as they divide all Americans by race or gender or faith.

But there is no crisis of ideology in the Democratic Party, only a crisis of confidence. Bill Clinton once described the Democratic Party's problems in the era of George W. Bush, saying that in uncertain times people would rather have a leader who is strong and wrong than weak and right.

He's exactly right. And we become both weak and wrong when we abandon our core values for short-term political gain. But when we Democrats talk straight and stand up for ourselves, we have a huge advantage: We are both strong and right.

We will only turn that advantage into victory if we make a concrete plan and work hard to execute it. Declare your support and offer feedback now on the plan to build an organization that will help us win everywhere, and win with pride:

www.democrats.org/plan

Millions of Americans became Democrats last year. [And all of them voted for Bush! ed.] They sensed that they live in a society where ordinary people's problems and interests don't matter to our government. They chose the Democratic Party because we represent commonsense reform.

And millions more will become Democrats this year as we protect the Democratic Party's greatest achievement. We will not allow George Bush to phase out Social Security - a Democratic policy that cured an epidemic of poverty among seniors and provides the guarantee of retirement with dignity.

Most importantly, millions of Democrats have become true stakeholders in our party. With grassroots action and small-dollar donations, you have taken our party's future into your own hands.

The stakes are too high to wait for others to lead. Every one of us has a personal responsibility for the future of our party -- and the future of our country.

This isn't my chairmanship -- it is ours. So let's get to work together.

Dr. Howard Dean
Chairman, Democratic National Committee

So, Dean's plan is...what again? Protect Social Security from being "phased out"? Who pushed the plan to "phase out" Social Security? I Googled the term "phase out Social Security," and all I get is crappola from Downies intending on making sure nothing gets down with that program, so in 50 years it can go broke - and the Downies can blame George W. Bush, the Republicans, or whatever Republican is president at that time.

I said it once, I say it again: The Downies stand for nothing, they do nothing, and they advocate the same.

Perv Jackson's Lawyers to Avoid "Conservative" Jurors

I always say that liberals tolerate buggery, perversion, and other forms of human disease and sickness. But until I read this small part of a story on International Sicko Michael Jackson, I didn't realize the depths of depravity that liberals were willing to tolerate:

Jackson to Call Stars in His Defense

Legal experts say prosecutors will look for jurors who are older, conservative, less taken with celebrity, willing to accept authority and appalled by child molestation.

Jackson's attorneys may look for more liberal jurors who have advanced degrees and are critical thinkers who question authority.

And now we know: liberals should be kicked off this jury, because they tolerate child molestation on top of the other abnormalities and human sicknesses they currently promote and encourage. And even Reuters, that liberal news agency, admits it.

"Boy, that little tyke over there is sexy! S-E-X-Y! I want to take him home with me and...! But I am a good person! I just love to sleep with little boys! What's so wrooooong about that?"

Kofi Annan: A Nuclear Strike Could Disrupt My Social Life

Once again, United Nations Official Slimeball and Thief Kofi Annan has made an utter fool of himself. Instead of being concerned about the perhaps hundreds of thousands or even millions of people who would be injured or killed in a nuclear explosion rigged by terrorists, Duh Leader Kofi says that "economies could suffer" from the attack.

Check out this relevant quote in this otherwise forgettable story:

United Nations chief calls for world security system

''If New York or London or Paris or Berlin were hit by a nuclear terrorist attack, it might not only kill hundreds of thousands in an instant,'' he said. "It could also devastate the global economy, thereby plunging millions into poverty in developing nations."

Yessiree, Kofi is worried that if something blew up over New York City, he might not be able to park in front of Lutesse and get his rack of lamb for dinner.

But he is also concerned, because if New York were to vanish a nuclear cloud, perhaps poverty-stricken shitholes such as Bangladesh or even, say, Sri Lanka could be impacted. Heck, even North Korea could feel the weight of the millions of dead New Yorkers.

Poor Kofi. What an asshole.

The Downies Are At It Again: Ignoring the Red States

When the Downtrodden National Committee elected Howard "Aaaaarrrggghh!" Dean the other day as chairman of their silly party, they also elected a bunch of second-rate asslickers as "vice chairman" (offices where you get Howie his daily cup of high caffeinated coffee):

Democrats Elect Dean as Committee Chairman

The Democrats, after a contested race, also elected three vice chairmen: Representative Michael M. Honda of California; Linda Chavez-Thompson, executive vice president of the A.F.L.-C.I.O.; and Susie Turnbull of Maryland, a deputy chairwoman of the party.

Honda is from California, Chavez-Thompson lives in Washington, D.C. (after moving from San Antonio, Texas), and "Susie" Turnbull is from Maryland - all places where Downies won in 2004. Oh, and Dean is from Vermont, also carried by the Downies.

In short, the Downies continue to not follow the lessons of those losers who came before them: when you are in a hole, for Christ's sake stop digging. Couldn't they have found ONE red-state candidate to put on their board? Just one? And notice that all three are far-left liberals - the same liberals who helped former Khmer Rouge arms dealer John Kerry to utter defeat last November.

And Downies seem to question why they control not one thing in DC except for the phone booth where their party apparatus meets.

Marxist Krugman: Left Wing Stupidity Reigns Supreme

Paul Krugman, who pens a column for The New York Times but instead should be wiring for The Daily Worker or some other Communist rag, explains in this (putrid) note all about how Howard Dean is not really a liberal, but is in fact a centrist:

The Fighting Moderates

Mr. Dean is squarely in the center of his party on issues like health care and national defense. Instead, Mr. Dean's political rejuvenation reflects the new ascendancy within the party of fighting moderates, the Democrats who believe that they must defend their principles aggressively against the right-wing radicals who have taken over Congress and the White House.

According to Slugman, er, Krugman, anyone to the right of Karl Marx and Kim Jong-Il is a "right wing radical."

This is why The New York Times is no longer "the paper of record." It is now a paper which people use to line their birdcages, and only if their birds can stand the bad leftwing smell coming off it.

NY GOP Leader: Dean is a Joke

The head of the NY Republican Party, Stephen Minarik, told reporters that the selection of Howard Dean to head the Downtrodden National Party was a laugh riot, and signals the growing end of the Downies to be a major force in American politics other than yelling "NO!" to any sound and reasonable proposal for reform, whatever it is:

New York GOP leader attacks Dean

New York's Republican state chairman said Monday that Howard Dean's election as Democratic national chairman shows the rival party's leaders "have refused to learn the lessons of the past two election cycles."

"Howard Dean is the personification of today's national Democratic Party - elite, radical, out-of-control, and sadly out-of-touch with ordinary Americans," said state GOP Chairman Stephen Minarik.

"The Democrats simply have refused to learn the lessons of the past two election cycles, and now they can be accurately called the party of Barbara Boxer, Lynne Stewart and Howard Dean," Minarik added.

Boxer is a liberal Democratic senator from California. Stewart is a New York City-based veteran civil rights lawyer convicted last week of helping terrorists by smuggling messages from one of her imprisoned clients, a radical Egyptian sheik, to his colleagues on the outside. Stewart has said her conviction will be appealed.

What makes this story extraordinarily hilarious is the response of Minarik's opposite number, NY Downie head Herman Munster Farrell:

"The New York Republican Party is in shambles," the state Democratic chairman said. "You are broke and fighting among yourselves. Governor (George) Pataki's popularity ratings have sunk to record lows. In the last decade, you have lost seats in both houses in Albany, both houses in Washington, statewide and in counties across the state.

You have to hand it to the Downies. Just as their party imitates the HMS Titanic and begins going down under the waves, the captain of their ship says, "Nothing wrong here. In fact, the Carpathia is taking on water and doesn't look that sound to us."

For those of you not in the know, the Carpathia was the ship that picked up 700+ of the Titanic's survivors after the Titanic had sunk.

London Mayor "Red" Livingstone: No Apology, No Work

The Brits have finally came to their senses - and now some governmental board is threatening London Mayor Ken Livingstone, who coddles Islamic thugs and advocates for mass murder but picks on elderly Jews by calling them "concentration camp guards," with suspension and loss of his job if he does not apologize for his rude and crude comments. Livingstone, like most of the Dumb Left©, sees nothing wrong with what he said and stands his ground.

Livingstone may face suspension over 'racist' slur

Ken Livingstone faces an independent inquiry that could lead to his suspension as London Mayor after he refused to apologise yesterday for likening a Jewish reporter to a concentration camp guard.

The mayor’s conduct will be investigated after the Board of Deputies of British Jews submitted a complaint to the Committee on Standards in Public Life.

The committee is expected to pass the complaint to the Standards Board for England for Mr Livingstone’s second career-threatening inquiry. He was cleared “on the balance of probability” in 2003 of bringing his office into disrepute over an alleged drunken scuffle at a late-night party.

In refusing to say sorry for his remarks, the mayor told the London Assembly: “I cannot say to you words I do not believe in my heart.”

In America we have the radical lowlife and Phony American Indian Ward Churchill; now we see that England, too, has its brand of leftist lunatics.

A Long, Long Time in the Hoosegow Asked for Usama's Buddies

You have to try to be tough with these kind of vermin:

Prosecutor Seeks 222,000 Years for Qaeda Suspects

Feb 14, 2005 — MADRID (Reuters) - Spanish prosecutors are seeking a total of 222,000 years in prison and nearly $1.17 billion in fines for three suspects accused of aiding the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the United States.

The punishments are among a total of 230,000 years of prison terms sought for 24 suspects held in jail on charges of belonging to an al Qaeda unit in Spain, according to court documents filed Monday.

The trial was due to start this month but has been delayed indefinitely because of a backlog of cases at the High Court.

I heard that with good behavior, they could effectively cut the prison sentence in half.

Now at Kofi Annan's UN: Rape of Children in the Congo

The UN, that worthless turd of an international body, is at it again: helping to facilitate in the rape and abuse of children in the Congo by French peacekeeping soldiers, no less. Jacques Chirac, still busy stashing away billions of dollars he steals every day, was not available for comment, but he did say that the United States should pull out of Iraq immediately.

U.N. Sex Crimes in Congo

Widespread allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse of Congolese women, boys and girls have been made against U.N. personnel who were sent to help and protect them — despite a so-called zero tolerance policy touted by the United Nations toward such behavior.

The range of sexual abuse includes reported rapes of young Congolese girls by U.N. troops; an Internet pedophile ring run from Congo by Didier Bourguet, a senior U.N. official from France; a colonel from South Africa accused of molesting his teenage male translators; and estimates of hundreds of underage girls having babies fathered by U.N. soldiers who have been able to simply leave their children and their crimes behind.

Interesting...very, very interesting. And read how William Swing (Swinger?), the former US Ambassador to the Congo and now head of the UN Mission, just "uncovered" this scandal. He didn't "see" it happening, he says.

Yeah, right.
