The Australian Police Commissioner, Mick Keelty, feels that stories on the cult of psychos called Islam is inciting these subhumans to commit terrorist acts.
Thus, according to this moron, it is best not to report what crimes Muslims are committing, because that makes them mad. And then they commit more crimes. If we don't mention what things they are doing, they will stop blowing shit up, right?
More liberal nonsense.
Media blamed for Islam bias
Australian Federal Police Commissioner Mick Keelty believes the media is fuelling a growing bias against Islamic Australians, warning that increased vilification of Muslims is fomenting home-grown terrorism.
In a speech delivered in Adelaide, Mr Keelty played down Sheik Taj Din al-Hilali's inflammatory comments on women, asserting that "many in the community also say offensive things and many of them are white Caucasian Australians".
He said rising vilification of Muslims was being fuelled by irresponsible media outlets which sensationalised terrorism-related stories with little basis in fact. And he called on Australians to teach the values of democracy and multiculturalism to the younger generation so that "our future is not worse than our past".
Mr Keelty - who clashed with Foreign Minister Alexander Downer in 2004 after the commissioner blamed the suicide attacks on Madrid train system on the war in Iraq - said he met privately with Muslim groups in Adelaide yesterday.
"You hear more and more stories of treatment of the Islamic community that really is substandard by members of our own wider community," he said at a lunch hosted by the South Australian Press Club. "It is vilification, picking them out of the crowd because they dress differently or they speak differently.
"If we are not careful we risk raising a generation of Australians who will have a bias against Islam."
Yep, telling people about the crimes of Muslims is upsetting, and makes them think less of Muslims. Maybe we should try it Keelty's way. What 9/11? Bali bombing? Where? Madrid? London? Iraq? Afghanistan? Pakistan? What are you talking about?
Nah, it doesn't work.
Let it never be said that John Kerry has not taken every advantage to make a complete asshole of himself. In 2004, it was "I voted for the $87 billion before I voted against it." In the 1970s, he accused American troops in Vietnam of raping innocent people. In 2005, he accused US troops in Iraq of "terrorizing" Iraqi women and children. And now, in 2006, he said that you can go to school and be educated, or get sent to Iraq. In short, only dummies got sent to Iraq.
White House Spokesman Slams Kerry Remark
The White House accused Sen. John Kerry on Tuesday of troop-bashing, seizing on a comment the Democrat made to California students that those unable to navigate the country's education system "get stuck in Iraq."
"Senator Kerry not only owes an apology to those who are serving, but also to the families of those who've given their lives in this," White House press secretary Tony Snow said. "This is an absolute insult."
Kerry, a decorated Vietnam veteran and Bush's rival in 2004, fired back, saying the president and his administration are the ones who owe U.S. troops an apology because they "misled America into war and have given us a Katrina foreign policy that has betrayed our ideals, killed and maimed our soldiers, and widened the terrorist threat instead of defeating it."
"This is the classic GOP playbook," Kerry said in a harshly worded statement. "I'm sick and tired of these despicable Republican attacks that always seem to come from those who never can be found to serve in war, but love to attack those who did. I'm not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece standing behind a podium."
Snow was asked about the comment which Kerry made during a campaign rally Monday for California Democratic gubernatorial candidate Phil Angelides. The White House spokesman was clearly ready, consulting his notes to read a fuller account of Kerry's statement and unleashing a sharp attack.
The Massachusetts senator, who is considering another presidential run in 2008, had opened his speech at Pasadena City College with several one-liners, joking at one point that Bush had lived in Texas but now "lives in a state of denial."
Then he said: "You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."
Snow said the quote "fits a pattern" of negative remarks from Kerry about U.S. soldiers and suggested that whether Democratic candidates _ particularly those running on their military service backgrounds _ agree with their 2004 standard-bearer should be a campaign litmus test.
One of those "White House stuffed suits" must be John McCain.
FLASH: McCain Calls On Kerry To Apologize
Senator Kerry owes an apology to the many thousands of Americans serving in Iraq, who answered their country's call because they are patriots and not because of any deficiencies in their education. Americans from all backgrounds, well off and less fortunate, with high school diplomas and graduate degrees, take seriously their duty to our country, and risk their lives today to defend the rest of us in Iraq, Afghanistan, and elsewhere.
They all deserve our respect and deepest gratitude for their service. The suggestion that only the least educated Americans would agree to serve in the military and fight in Iraq, is an insult to every soldier serving in combat, and should deeply offend any American with an ounce of appreciation for what they suffer and risk so that the rest of us can sleep more comfortably at night. Without them, we wouldn't live in a country where people securely possess all their God-given rights, including the right to express insensitive, ill-considered and uninformed remarks.
Yep, that John McCain is a stuffed suit.
Now, Kerry held a press conference in Seattle, in which he made a bigger ass of himself, if that was even possible.
John Kerry: He needs hospitalization. And quick.

Australia is like every Western nation: it has a major problem with the Muslims it allowed into its country. The Muslims in Australia, like the US and England and France and Germany, have refused to integrate, instead setting up communities where many citizens cannot go without being harassed. It has become so bad in Australia that a Muslim rapist recently got 65 years in prison, and the Muslim populace there is seething at such harsh treatment.
Now comes Sheikh Taj el-Din al-Hilali, the chief imam in Australia. A month ago he gave a speech in which he called women who did not wear a hardscarf or burqa "unprotected meat" and said that such women were to blame if they were raped. The speech got no play, until someone slipped a tape of it to The Australian newspaper.
Now the shit has hit the fan. The government is considering deporting the scumbag. But in Britain, being pressed under the weight of Muslim sickness, the BBC says that it can see no big deal in the whole brouhaha.
First, the story. Then, the BBC and their willingness to look the other way.
Read Sheik Hilaly's comments
"Those atheists, people of the book (Christians and Jews), where will they end up? In Surfers Paradise? On the Gold Coast? Where will they end up? In hell and not part-time, for eternity. They are the worst in God’s creation."
"When it comes to adultery, it’s 90 percent the woman’s responsibility. Why? Because a woman owns the weapon of seduction. It’s she who takes off her clothes, shortens them, flirts, puts on make-up and powder and takes to the streets, God protect us, dallying. It’s she who shortens, raises and lowers. Then, it’s a look, a smile, a conversation, a greeting, a talk, a date, a meeting, a crime, then Long Bay jail. Then you get a judge, who has no mercy, and he gives you 65 years."
"But when it comes to this disaster, who started it? In his literature, writer al-Rafee says, if I came across a rape crime, I would discipline the man and order that the woman be jailed for life. Why would you do this, Rafee? He said because if she had not left the meat uncovered, the cat wouldn’t have snatched it."
"If you get a kilo of meat, and you don’t put it in the fridge or in the pot or in the kitchen but you leave it on a plate in the backyard, and then you have a fight with the neighbour because his cats eat the meat, you’re crazy. Isn’t this true?"
"If you take uncovered meat and put it on the street, on the pavement, in a garden, in a park, or in the backyard, without a cover and the cats eat it, then whose fault will it be, the cats, or the uncovered meat’s? The uncovered meat is the disaster. If the meat was covered the cats wouldn’t roam around it. If the meat is inside the fridge, they won’t get it."
What a nice guy, eh? He not only hates women, but he hates Jews and athiests and others.
The BBC, however, finds nothing wrong. It even extolls the virtues of this piece of excrement.
Australia's Muslims fear backlash
A few weeks ago, I happened to interview Sheikh Taj el-Din al-Hilali outside the Lakemba Mosque in Sydney where he delivered his controversial sermon.
A softly-spoken man, who clearly commands both enormous respect and affection within his community, the Egyptian-born cleric discussed the government's recent proposals for an Australian citizenship test - an examination which many Muslim immigrants believe is targeted at them.
His English is poor, and it was difficult at times to make out precisely what he was saying.
But he told me he was keen to encourage the greater use of English in mosques and for Imams to gain a much greater understanding of Australian history and culture.
Though he did not agree with Prime Minister John Howard's contentious view that sections of the 300,000-strong Muslim community are not doing enough to integrate themselves into the mainstream of Australian society, he seemed prepared at least to address the criticism in a constructive way.
Sheikh Hilali referred more than once to the idea of "the Aussie imam", as he called it - model clerics with a broad knowledge of Australian culture and history.
Neat, snappy and eminently quotable. Just the kind of epithet which sticks in a journalist's mind.
Now some of the cleric's fellow Muslims, including the Islamic Council of New South Wales, are calling his comments comparing immodestly dressed women to "uncovered meat" as "unIslamic, unAustralian and unacceptable."
Far from building bridges with the wider community, he seems to have dug himself an almighty hole.
Hey - he said it, now he can sit in the hole.
In the days since this story ran (and got no airplay whatsoever in the United States), the "support" for this piece of crap is going down faster than Bill Clinton's trousers. However, he proudly proclaims that "no one can sack me" and that he will not leave until the world "is clean of the White House."
No one can sack me, says Sheik Hilaly
The NSW Opposition has denounced Sheik Taj al-Din al-Hilaly's claim to quit only when the world is "clean of the White House" and has called on him to leave the country.
A day after begrudgingly apologising for causing offence to women, Sheik Hilaly drew cries of support during a fiery speech at Sydney's Lakemba Mosque on Friday night, defending his contentious sermon and dismissing the controversy with a joke to two visiting overseas imams.
"It is a storm in a cup ... no worry, mate, in Australian," he told British Muslim Council chairman Abdul Jalil Sajid and Lebanese imam Sheikh Abdul Ghaffar al-Zoabi.
The NSW Opposition Leader, Peter Debnam, has called for funding to the Mufti's Lakemba mosque to be cut.
Mr Debnam said the Sheik's anti-American statement was an attack on western society.
"The entire community is rightly horrified and repulsed by the Sheik's comments about women and Western society," Mr Debnam said.
Sheik Hilaly's support: down, down, down, down.
Friends of Hilali join calls for sacking
Support for controversial Muslim cleric Sheikh Taj el-Din al-Hilali is crumbling with one of his supporters saying the cleric will be gone from his position within 24 hours.
Since news broke last week about Sheikh al-Hilali's comments linking the way women dress and sexual assault there has been a string of people criticising him.
One of the latest is a close friend, Doctor Jamal Rifi, founder of Muslim Doctors Against Violence.
And now one of his pastoral neighbours, Sheikh Ibrahim el-Shafie, who describes himself as a moderate community leader from Canterbury Bankstown, says Sheikh al-Hilali must go or he must be sacked.
He claims Sheikh el-Hilali is a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, which draws strength from a mentor who supports al-Qaeda and Jemaah Islamiah.
There is a simple way to deal with this: you tell the Muslims that either they fire and help deport this Muslim lunatic, or they will close their mosque.
Watch the Muslims go hissy over that plan.

Earlier this week, we noted that EU Commissioner and Imbecile Javier Solana said that talks to get Iran to stop enriching uranium had "failed" - a great piece of intelligence considering that they had failed 2 years ago but Europe wanted to keep talking because they like hearing their own voices and Iranian laughter at their naivete.
Solana is not just stupid on Iran - in this statement, he says that he believes that Hamas is not out to destroy Israel.
Wait, you say. Hamas? The bloodsucking Palestinian subhumans whose stated goal is to destroy Israel? That Hamas?
You bet. Solana says they just want "to liberate Palestinians."
Who put this clown in charge of anything important?
'Hamas doesn't want to destroy Israel'
Hamas wants to "liberate the Palestinians," not to destroy Israel, Javier Solana, the European Union's foreign policy chief, told The Jerusalem Post on Thursday.
In an interview following his talks in Tel Aviv with Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni, Solana insisted that it was "not impossible" for Hamas to change and "recognize the existence of Israel." History had shown that people and nations "adapt to reality," he said. "I don't want to lose hope."
Pressed as to whether he was underestimating the fundamentalist religious imperative at the heart of the Hamas ideology, Solana said, "I cannot imagine that the religious imperative, the real religious imperative, can make anybody destroy another country... Therefore that is an abuse of religion...
"I don't think the essence of Hamas is the destruction of Israel. The essence of Hamas is the liberation of the Palestinians," he added. "The liberation of their people, not the destruction of Israel."
Solana then says that he considers himself a "good friend" is Israel.
Another good friend? Adolf Hitler. Because he and Solana both would have the Jews destroyed - only Hitler was more open about it.

If you follow the "9/11 Truth Movement," here is a summation of their stand:
9/11 was an inside job. Or it wasn't. Those planes we saw hit the WTC towers? No planes were involved. Bush blew up the towers with explosives. The planes with the victims on board landed in Cleveland, and NASA is holding them hostage these past 5 years. A missile hit the Pentagon. Dick Cheney ordered Flight 93 to be shot down, even though there was no Flight 93 to be shot down.
Get it? Whackjobbery at its finest.
Now, these assorted nuts and fruits believe that they have done so much to convince people of the truth of their statements that - get this one - they think that they should start their own political movement.
Read this and laugh. Or cry.
The 9/11 Truth Political Party
I think everyone can agree that the campaign to get the information out there to the people has been a resounding success thus far, the results to every poll are a testament to that.
Is it time to take the next step and start wielding some of the power this movement has accumulated? It is often said that senior citizens wield a considerable amount of political might in the United States. For the most part this is because they have numbers and they get out and vote, reliably and consistantly. While I think their power has somewhat decreased in recent years, there can be no doubt that political candidates make concessions to this power, and even at times go out of their way to mollify them, if for no other reason than through the fear that this voting bloc may come out in strength against them. I feel that the Truth Movement could rival this power and most likely excede it.
We certainly have the numbers on our side. Just look at any of the many online polls and you see the numbers... remember the Charlie Sheen poll? How about the 0wnage of the United 93 forums? Hell, check some net traffic reports or data on search terms, 9/11 Truth sites are some of the busiest out there. That's some serious numbers.
Of course, when one nut believes he speaks for thousands, you get a more hilarious post:
As important as the numbers is the motivation. I think this speaks for itself. Seriously, untold thousands of people burning and a distrubting tens of thousands of videos, spreading the word, protesting. Has any movement in history spread so far so fast?
VD spreads as fast, and we try hard to conquer that, too. This "movement" is worse than VD.

The French have become one of the worst violators of the law in the world - it was France who aided and supplied Iraq and Saddam Hussein during the years when that dictator broke UN sanctions; and when the US and the UK sought to end the sanctions and crack down on Saddam, France did their utmost first to stymie the efforts, and then blocked any attempt to get Saddam to comply. In the end, it was France, mated with fellow scumbags Germany and Russia, who forced the hand of the US and the UK. It was then France that demanded talking for two years to Iran about ending Iran's nuclear weapons program, and now, two years later, we have nothing to show for it.
So this report released this week comes as no surprise: investigators charge that French army members aided and abetted the Hutu mass murderers who slaughtered some 800,000 men, women, and children.
Hear that again: France aided mass murderers who have never been brought to justice.
France accused of playing active role in Rwandan genocide
Twenty five survivors of the Rwandan genocide and former Rwandan ambassador to Paris Jacques Bihozagara have accused France of playing an active role in the Rwandan genocide in which 800 000 Tutsis and moderate Hutus were killed in a 100 day frenzy.
According to Bihozagara, French involvement stemmed from concerns about its diminishing influence in Africa. According to the BBC, after the hearings, the Rwandan panel will rule on whether to file a suit at the International Court of Justice.
Former Justice Minister Jean de Dieu Mucyo and its proceedings, which began on Tuesday, are being broadcast live on local radio.
French soldiers are alleged to have also provided escape routes to militia escaping to the Democratic Republic of Congo. France which was deployed to the country in the final days of the genocide is also alleged to have let Hutu militias into Tutsi camps to continue with their murderous campaign.
The French, though denying any involvement has also set up its own military court to probe the allegations.
More on this stunning story, which is absent completely from the airwaves of the news channels in the United States:
French 'fraternised with genocide militia'
FRENCH troops in Rwanda during the 1994 genocide trained Rwandan soldiers and militia responsible for most of the killings and joked with them, an government inquiry commission heard today.
On the second day of public hearings in a probe into France's alleged complicity in the genocide, a former employee of the French cultural centre in Kigali said his boss had boasted about the training France had provided.
"My boss told me that their army had trained the young men so well that they could defend the country from any attack by Tutsi rebels or their accomplices," said Venuste Kaijamahe, who worked at the center for more than 20 years.
An estimated 800,000 people, mainly minority Tutsis and moderate Hutus, were slaughtered by Hutu extremists during a 100-day killing spree between April and July 1994, and Rwanda's Government accuses France of playing a role.
Paris has adamantly denied the allegation but Kigali has charged the commission with determining whether there is evidence to file a suit against France for damages at the world court.
The seven-member panel of historians, legal experts and a senior military officer in the former Rwandan army has been working since April to investigate claims of French involvement.
Mr Kaijamahe, a Tutsi, said French diplomats held frequent sessions to plot strategy against Tutsi rebels, who began fighting the then Hutu-led government in 1990 from bases in neighboring Uganda.
"Regular meetings to draw up strategies for the war were held at residences of the French ambassador and other senior embassy officials," he said.
"French soldiers also often bragged about the success of joint operations with the Rwandan army and the skills of their local counterparts," said Mr Kaijamahe, the fourth of 25 witnesses to testify before the panel.
"It wasn't rare to see French troops jogging alongside Interahamwe (extremist Hutu) militias on the streets of Kigali neighbourhoods," he said, adding: "It's sad to see France denying any knowledge of things that took place in broad daylight.
"At the time they didn't hide their activities that much. Maybe they are now ashamed."
Mr Kaijamahe also accused his former bosses at the cultural centre of refusing to evacuate him at the peak of the genocide on the grounds that he was not a French national, "even though they had space to airlift extremists from the former government."
Witnesses testified Monday that France allegedly supported the former government and its Interahamwe militia out of fear it was losing influence in Africa to rebels backed by an English-speaking country, Uganda.
"They thought a francophone country was being attacked by an anglophone country" and believed "they had to rush to the rescue," Jacques Bihozagara, a former Rwandan ambassador to France said.
The public hearings are to continue until next week and the inquiry commission is expected to report its findings back to the current Tutsi-led Government within six months.
Although France denies the allegations, a French former soldier last year alleged that French troops had trained Rwandan militia responsible for the killings in the two years leading up to the genocide.
Also, a French military tribunal is currently investigating claims by six Rwandan Tutsis who filed a complaint accusing French troops of being complicit "in genocide and/or crimes against humanity."
These witnesses come from the mountainous western region of Bisesero, where survivors claim French forces lured Tutsis from hideouts in the hills to village centres where they were killed.
The world had a cow when allegations of torture by US troops at Abu Ghraib in Iraq surfaced. No one died at Abu Ghraib. How will the world react when French fuckers are found to have helped to murder 800,000 people?
This past June, we covered the case of dimwit Alan Hevesi, the NY State Comptroller, who stated that he wished to "put a bullet between the president's eyes." Despite the fact that this elected NY state official threatened the life of the President, Downies in NY stood by him, and Hevesi kept his job. He appeared to be on the way to re-election this year.
Until now. Monday, a state ethics board held that Hevesi's use of a state official to drive his wife around was illegal - and now Hevesi is being pressured to resign by state Republicans, and even a few Downies are quietly saying that he should step down.
Liberal values: threaten the President and keep your job; act like a crook, and maybe you will lose your job.
Hevesi under fire
New York State Comptroller Alan Hevesi is under fire for using state employees to chauffeur his wife. Tuesday, State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer asked his office to open an investigation. Spitzer has recused himself because of his endorsement of Hevesi for office.
Meanwhile, Hevesi's little known opponent is gaining momentum and pushing hard to oust the incumbent. Republican challenger Chris Callaghan was most recently trailing by 27 points in a Quinnipiac poll. With just two weeks until Election Day, Callaghan believes the Hevesi investigation will lead to a victory for republicans in at least one statewide race.
"I again call on Mr. Hevesi to resign for his own sake, for the sake of his wife, for the sake of his party and the sake of the people of the state of New York," Callaghan said during a news conference in Rochester Tuesday.
Callaghan says he is prepared for a fight if Hevesi does not step down. A fight he says he will win in the end.
"Victory, we will simply defeat him on November 7th. I still hope he will take his leave before the end of the year, but if he doesn't we will have a transition. He'll move out, I'll move in and the public's money will be safer," Callaghan said.
Monday, a report from the State Ethics Commission found that Hevesi broke the law by using state employees to chauffeur his wife. The report gave a sudden boost to Callaghan's struggling campaign.
"Well, it's helping me a lot. I've said frequently if we could add the fair market value of Mr. Hevesi's help in my campaign I have the best financed campaign in the state," Callaghan said.
For his part, Hevesi has apologized saying, "I made a mistake. I am deeply sorry. I offer no excuses."
So, resign, Mr. Hevesi.
This couldn't have happened to a nicer scumbag.
Is the tide turning? Parents of hundreds of pro-Taliban guerrillas killed by coalition forces in Afghanistan are blaming Islamic nutjob mullahs for roping their weak sons into jihad and fighting which led to their deaths.
You can bet this story got wide play in the Muslim world - not.
Parents of fighters killed by coalition blame mullahs
A steady flow of bodies back to Pakistan has prompted tribal elders to appeal to intelligence agencies and religious leaders to stop sending young men to fight in Afghanistan.
"We have made it known to the military intelligence and the mullahs that we want them to stop sending our youth to their deaths," said one tribal leader from the province of Pishin in Balochistan. His sentiments were echoed by a growing number of secular-minded politicians from the Pashtun tribal belt that runs from Balochistan to the North-West Frontier Province.
Karbala, a town in Pishin, is a key recruiting area for the Taliban as many of the religiously-conservative locals belong to tribes that span the border. Yet this month five families from Karbala accused religious leaders of being responsible for the deaths of their sons.
The 20-year old grandson of Sayyad Dost Muhammed went the way of many a young Pakistani jihadi. "Qari Asadullah was one of five boys from the village who went to Afghanistan five months ago without their families' knowledge," said Mr Dost Muhammed. "We heard that all five had been killed." Asadullah and his four friends graduated from a local madrassa and headed to a radical school in Karachi, from where they went to Afghanistan.
Karbala has four madrassas, all linked to the Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam (JUI), a party that governs Balochistan and the North West Frontier Province. During President Pervez Musharraf's recent visit to Britain, a leaked document drawn up by a think-tank with alleged links to MI6 claimed that Pakistani military intelligence funnelled support for the Taliban through the JUI. This month, Gen Musharraf said retired Pakistani intelligence officers could be running the Taliban insurgency.
Yesterday the bodies of 18 Pakistanis were returned to the Pakistani tribal agency of Waziristan, where a deal between tribesmen and the government is supposed to have stopped fighters crossing the border.
Nothing will come of this criticism, but it does show that Muslim leaders continue to send their own kind into the grinder of fighting for their worthless cult.

The Spanish decided 2 years ago to capitulate to Islamic terrorism after the Madrid train bombing. Now, they have decided to teach Islam in the schools.
We surrender to Islam, says Spain.
Spanish schools to use Islam book
The Spanish government, Catholic Church and Muslim leaders have joined forces to publish a school textbook on Islam.
The book Discovering Islam - for primary school children - was written in Spanish by a Muslim leader.
Spanish officials say the book has no parallel among Spain's EU neighbours with large Muslim minorities.
Spain has about a million Muslims, out of a 44 million population. The book is aimed at helping Muslim children learn about their faith and integrate better.
Yeah - those Muslims will "integrate better" because of some book.
This is one more step to the Islamization of Europe. One day, when Muslims demand special rights and shari'a law in European countries, they will be so dense and stupid that they will grant it. And then the end will come for the Peons.

The NY Times is feeling the wrath of the American people for printing the secrets of this country in a time of war: their profitability become more precarious each passing day.
It couldn't happen to a nicer gang of traitors.
NY Times Co. 3Q Profit Plunges 39%, Belo Also Down
The New York Times Co. reported Thursday that its third-quarter 2006 profit from continuing operations plunged 39.2% on costs related to its job cuts and a loss on its sale of its 50% stake in the Discovery Times Channel.
Meanwhile, Belo, publisher of The Dallas Morning News, said net income for the quarter fell to $19.2 million, or 19 cents per share, compared to $22.1 million, or 20 cents per share, during the same period last year.
At the New York Times Co., 3Q operating profit was down 48% from the same period in 2005 to $20.5 million on total revenues that slipped 2.4% to $739.6 million.
Reflecting a continuing tough advertising environment, total ad revenue was off 4.2% to 465,476.
The Times Co. said it earned $14 million, or 10 cents per share, compared with $23.1 milion, or 16 cents per share, in the third quarter of 2005.
Charges related to the staff reduction and the cable TV investment loss each reduced per-share price by 3 cents.
"Our third-quarter results reflect the continued weakness in the print advertising marketplace," Times Co. President and CEO Janet L. Robinson said in a statement. "We are, however, strongly encouraged by the discipline our teams have shown in holding the line on operating costs, which were virtually flat with the third quarter of last year. The leadership we are showing in transitioning from our print-centric distribution model to become a multi-platform content provider continues to pay dividends through the robust growth in our Internet-related revenues, which contributed more than 8% of the company's revenues in the quarter and are on track to exceed $250 million by year end."
Yep...its that "weak advertising" that is driving down profits by 39%. That's the ticket!
What is actually driving down profits is more and more people awakening to the fact that The Times and its staff of traitors has decided that its hatred of George W. Bush is so thick, so heavy, that it will print any story designed to hurt the government. But they are hurting America. And America is turning off The Times. And we hope this trend continues, and gets worse for the Times.

Mark Foley sends perverted e-mails to a 17 year old page. He resigns his seat, and Downies demand investigations, resignations, and assignations of blame all around. Their allies in the media do story after story on "Foleygate" - after all, the news that truly affects the world, like North Korea, is not all that important.
The flip side of this tale of stupidity is Rep. Gerry Studds, a Downie from Massachusetts who, in 1983, was caught raping a 16 year old page in 1973. Studds was censured, but he kept his seat and was reelected until he left Congress on his own accord. Studds keeled over last week and croaked.
The media rushes forward...to condemn Studds? Not at all. It is to make us feel bad because his "husband" in an illegal gay marriage from Massachusetts, cannot get Studdsboy's death benefits because the Defense of Marriage Act - signed, ironically by Bill Clinton in 1996 - does not allow it.
Shucks, darn, darn, darn.
No Death Benefits for Studds's Spouse
BOSTON, Oct. 17 -- The federal government has refused to pay death benefits to the spouse of former congressman Gerry E. Studds (D-Mass.), the first openly gay member of Congress.
Studds married Dean Hara in 2004 after same-sex marriage was legalized in Massachusetts. But Hara will not be eligible to receive any portion of Studds's estimated $114,337 annual pension because the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act bars the federal government from recognizing Studds's marriage.
Peter Graves, a spokesman for the Office of Personnel Management, which administers the congressional pension program, said same-sex partners are not recognized as spouses for any marriage benefits. He said Studds's case is the first of its kind known to the agency.
Under federal law, pensions can be denied only to lawmakers' same-sex partners and to people convicted of espionage or treason, Graves said.
The homosexuality of Studds was exposed during a teenage-page sex scandal in 1983. He died Saturday at 69, several days after collapsing while walking his dog. Doctors said he had developed two blood clots.
Notice the headline: No benefits for Studds' "Spouse."
Sorry, folks. His "spouse" would have been a woman. A man cannot have a husband. Each state is passing laws to prohibit this kind of buggery. Come election day, more states join that list.
And Gerry Studds, rapist and pervert, can rot in hell where he belongs.
So says The Guardian, the far, far leftwing rag which has coddled and smiled on Islamic terrorists.
Life is unfair, so here's hoping that if something does go off in London, it is right next to The Guardian's offices.
Britain now top target for Al-Qaeda
LONDON (AFP) - Britain is the top target of the Al-Qaeda terrorist network, which now presents a bigger threat than ever before, a newspaper reported.
Citing unnamed anti-terrorism chiefs, The Guardian newspaper said that Al-Qaeda had regrouped and recovered its organisation in Pakistan, despite a more-than-four-year campaign by a US-led coalition to wipe out the network.
In that time, the newspaper reported, the terror organisation has become a more coherent network with a regular supply of volunteers.
Islamic extremists "viewed 7/7 (the July 7, 2005 suicide attacks on London's transport network) as just the beginning," an unnamed senior source said.
"Al-Qaeda sees the UK as a massive opportunity to cause loss of life and embarrassment to the authorities," the source continued.
You gets what you paid for, correct? Many Bbritish people have had a problem for the past few years, believing as the sickening left does that if you only say nice things to Islamic thugs and slugs, somehow they will leave you alone. Muslims want to wear full veils? Let them, if it means less terrorism. Muslims want to march for beheadings? They want to go abroad to train to kill Americans in Iraq? They want to learn radical Islam in madrassas in Pakistan? The BBC should bend over and make Muslims appear to be victims of racial discrimination? Aw, darn - if it means England is spared, what's the big deal?
The deal is, folks, that when you kiss Muslim ass all you wind up with is shit on your face. Of course, we in the US will offer our condolences when something bad happens to England, but what we should tell them is: we warned you to crack down on the Islamic cancer in your midst. Now it is time for that radical surgery we told you about, when you were not listening.
It will hurt to say it, but it needs to be said.

The Euro-peons continually whine about closing the terrorist prison at Guantanamo Bay. "It's against human rights" they wail. "It is not fair," they scream. "Those poor, poor terrorists," they yell. Even the UK's Foreign Minister Margaret Beckett, a former Socialist, made a fool of herself recently by again calling for the base to close the prison.
Of course, we could close the prison, but it appears that the Peons, in their mad rush to the well called hypocrisy, are refusing to take any of their people from Gitmo.
Wait...they are refusing? Why? After all, aren't these "poor terrorists" supposed to be allowed to go home?
Apparently not. You see, those angry and threatening Peons don't want them. They want the issue to scream about.
U.S. allies impede Guantanamo releases: report
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Britain and other U.S. allies have demanded closure of the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, but have also blocked efforts to let some prisoners return home, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday.
British officials recently rejected a U.S. offer to transfer 10 former British residents from Guantanamo to the United Kingdom, arguing that it would be too expensive to keep them under surveillance, the newspaper said, citing documents made public this month in London.
Britain has also staved off a legal challenge by the relatives of some prisoners who sued to require the British government to seek their release, The Washington Post said.
While all British citizens in Guantanamo were freed starting in 2004, Britain has balked at allowing former legal residents of the country to return, the newspaper said.
Germany and other European allies, which have spoken out against Guantanamo, also have balked at accepting prisoners from the facility, the Post said.
The utter breadth and depth of the hypocrisy of the Peons is simply staggering.
What Bush should do is take these terrorists, fly them to a US airport, and place them on aircraft and fly them to these countries. Then, when the planes land, the crews are instructed to throw the terrorists off onto the tarmac, turn around, and fly home. Let the Peons deal with what comes next. And when they yell and scream some more, Bush should simply say, "I did as you wanted - I let the terrorists go so we can close Guantanamo Bay. Isn't that what you wanted?"
The Euro-peons are about to concede that after two years of talking to Iran about stopping their nuclear weapons program, they have failed and must go to the UN to do something.
The true shame is two fold: first, that President Bush said this 2 years ago, and, second, that his moronic critics will not admit that he said this 2 years ago.
EU to admit Iran nuclear talks have failed
LUXEMBOURG (AFP) - The European Union will acknowledge Tuesday that nuclear talks with Iran have failed and support a return to the UN Security Council to prepare sanctions, according to a draft document seen by AFP.
Draft conclusions from Tuesday's meeting of European foreign ministers said that the Union now believes that "Iran's continuation of enrichment-related activities has left the EU no choice" but to return to the United Nations.
The ministers express "deep concern" that Iran has not yet suspended its enrichment-related and reprocessing activities as required by the International Atomic Energy Agency -- the UN nuclear watchdog -- and a UN resolution.
EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana has led EU talks aimed at encouraging Iran to accept political and economic incentives in exchange for suspending uranium enrichment and will brief the ministers at their meeting in Luxembourg.
An EU diplomat said that there would be no discussion on what form any UN sanctions might take.
Major world powers have been debating sanctions to slap on Iran for ignoring an August 31 UN deadline to suspend uranium enrichment, which Washington and others fear could be subverted to produce fissile material for nuclear weapons.
Javier Solana, the pseudo-Socialist imbecile who has been conducting these talks, should be fired. But he won't be. Why? Because he is the quintessential Euro-peon. A walking duncecap with his head jammed firmly up his backside.

We have been covering the disgusting story of Lynne Stewart, a far, far, far left Marxist lawyer who has defended the worst of the worst in America, and who, while working for Omar Abdel Rahman, the so-called "blind sheik" who was behind the first WTC bombing in 1993, smuggled his radical Islamic messages out of prison which wound up in the hands of al-Qaeda terrorists worldwide. Stewart was tried and convicted of aiding terrorism.
Today, Stewart was sentenced for her conviction. Facing 30 years in prison, she wrote the judge that she would do the act again, and basically told America to drop dead.
You would think, especially after 9/11, that someone who aided Islamic terrorists would get a really long sentence. But you would be wrong. She faced 30 years, but a judge with shit for brains gave her 28 months.
The next time an Islamic terrorist blows something up, think about how this judge shielded those who aid those terrorists in their evil plans.
Lawyer gets 28 months jail for aiding terrorism
NEW YORK (Reuters) - A New York attorney convicted of aiding terrorism by helping a client smuggle messages to militant followers was sentenced on Monday to 28 months in prison.
Lynne Stewart, 67, was convicted in February 2005 of helping her imprisoned client, Sheikh Omar Abdel-Rahman, to contact the Islamic Group, which is listed by the U.S. government as a terrorist organization.
Prosecutors said messages Stewart passed on for Abdel-Rahman could have ignited violence in Egypt. The sheikh was convicted in 1995 of conspiring to attack U.S. targets in a plot prosecutors said included the 1993 World Trade Center bombing.
Stewart, long a defender of the poor and unpopular, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge John Koeltl in Manhattan federal court. Her supporters rallied outside the courthouse chanting and carrying banners.
The civil rights lawyer has defended her actions, saying she was only zealously representing her client.
Tagged as both heroine and radical leftist, Stewart is the only U.S. lawyer to be indicted on terrorism charges. Some observers said the case stemmed from Bush administration efforts to discourage the defense of accused terrorists.
Since her 2002 indictment, Stewart has spoken at rallies, endured a seven-month trial, been convicted, undergone treatment for cancer and become the subject of a documentary called "Who's Afraid of Lynne Stewart?"
Interesting. Just who is Judge John George Koeltl?
He's a Clinton appointee.
Koeltl, John George
Born 1945 in New York, NY
Federal Judicial Service:
Judge, U. S. District Court, Southern District of New York
Nominated by William J. Clinton on April 26, 1994, to a seat vacated by Shirley Wohl Kram; Confirmed by the Senate on August 9, 1994, and received commission on August 10, 1994.
This is why the maladministration of William Jefferson Clinton continues to ruin America. North Korea tests nuclear weapons they were free to build during the Clinton years. 9/11 happened because Bill Clinton had 10 opportunities at the least to kill bin Laden and refused to do so. And now the little Nazis he put on the bench in our judiciary show their liberalism and weakness even to those who aid Islamic terrorism.
When the history of the Clinton years is written, let's hope someone who cares writes it. Let's not leave it up to the leftists who think those were good times.

As we have shown here, time and time again, the BBC is the most anti-Semitic, anti-American, and anti-George W. Bush media outlet in the world. And every time allegations of their bias are investigated, they are proven. Yet the BBC hierarchy likes to tell everyone that they are unbiased. Yeah, right.
A recent internal report done for the BBC is said to show that their anti-Israeli bias has gotten worse, not better. A British lawyer heard of the report and asked to see it. The BBC, which likes to tell everyone how open it is and how it stands for free speech is challenging the lawyer in court - by using untold thousands of pounds of taxpayer funds to stifle the report.
In short, the BBC's new slogan is: "We stand for free speech, until we are caught being Nazis."
BBC mounts court fight to keep 'critical' report secret
The BBC has spent thousands of pounds of licence payers' money trying to block the release of a report which is believed to be highly critical of its Middle East coverage.
The corporation is mounting a landmark High Court action to prevent the release of The Balen Report under the Freedom of Information Act, despite the fact that BBC reporters often use the Act to pursue their journalism.
The action will increase suspicions that the report, which is believed to run to 20,000 words, includes evidence of anti-Israeli bias in news programming.
The court case will have far reaching implications for the future working of the Act and the BBC. If the corporation loses, it will have to release thousands of pages of other documents that have been held back.
Like all public bodies, the BBC is obliged to release information about itself under the Act. However, along with Channel 4, Britain's other public service broadcaster, it is allowed to hold back material that deals with the production of its art, entertainment and journalism.
The High Court action is the latest stage of a lengthy and expensive battle by Steven Sugar, a lawyer, to get access to the document, which was compiled by Malcolm Balen, a senior editorial adviser, in 2004.
Richard Thomas, the Information Commissioner, who is responsible for the workings of the Act, agreed with the BBC that the document, which examines hundreds of hours of its radio and television broadcasts, could be held back. However, Mr Sugar appealed and, after a two-day hearing at which the BBC was represented by two barristers, the Information Tribunal found in his favour.
Mr Sugar said: "This is a serious report about a serious issue and has been compiled with public money. I lodged the request because I was concerned that the BBC's reporting of the second intifada was seriously unbalanced against Israel, but I think there are other issues at stake now in the light of the BBC's reaction."
The BBC's coverage of the Middle East has been frequently condemned for a perceived anti-Israeli bias.
That the BBC hates Israel, Jews, America, and George W. Bush cannot be denied. That it is rank with hypocrisy and leftwing propaganda has also been proven. What needs to be discovered is: why do the British people continue to fund this group of lying Marxist thugs with their hard-earned money?

The left in America never ceases to find ways to make themselves look like assholes. 9/11? It was an "inside job," despite their having no evidence of anything of the sort. Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania, was "shot down by a missile," although no military planes were near it. Some leftwing retards even claim that no planes were used on 9/11. Hand puppets struck the WTC towers, right?
Leave it to the dumb Left to find a conspiracy in another tragedy. NY Yankee pitcher Cory Lidle's private plane crashed into a building in New York City, killing Lidle and his flying instructor. An accident, everyone says.
But not the Left! We found one moron who believes that the crash was a "Neocon plot" to get the Mark Foley scandal off the front pages. (The North Korean nuclear explosion did that too, but perhaps George W. Bush was behind that, too.)
You just cannot make this shit up.
Fox News Spins Plane Accident; Says It Could Affect Election
The hysterical media circus that grew in the hours following an accident in which a baseball star who wasn't properly qualified flew a small plane into a Manhattan apartment block was crystallized by Fox News' Neil Cavuto - who bizarrely put the pilot error of the Yankees' Cory Lidle into the context of how it would affect the upcoming mid-term elections.
The FBI and Homeland Security are now labeling a small aircraft hitting an apartment building on Manhattan's Upper East Side at 72nd Street and York Avenue, as an accident.
On Fox News' Your World With Neil Cavuto, Cavuto suggested during a conversation with Republican Congressman Peter King that the event would possibly affect the upcoming mid-term election by reminding Americans of the horror of 9/11.
It has now been reported that the pilot of the plane was New York Yankees baseball star Cory Lidle. The fact that the accident involves a celebrity means the networks can justifiably talk about it for another three weeks and in that sense - invoking memories of 9/11 - it could impact the election.
The event also knocks stories about Mark Foley and Washington pedophile and prostitution rings off the top off the news cycle.
Yep - those e-mails Foley sent are now "pedophile and prostitution rings."
But, check out this paranoia from the clueless Left:
Reports that Lidle's passport was found on the street is also being seen as suspicious by some 9/11 truthers - because it would seemingly prop up the inconceivable notion that Mohammed Atta and other hijacker's passports survived and were discovered. However, in the case of Lidle this could easily be explained by eyewitness reports that most of the plane debris did not enter the building and ended up on the street below. This is how investigators have already been able to identify the plane in just the short time after the crash.
Early reports that the crash involved a helicopter have now been dismissed. The FBI have confirmed two people are dead but say there is no "indication of terrorism."
"The initial indication is that there is a terrible accident," said Department of Homeland Security spokesman Russ Knocke.
Obviously one of the following explanations will be offered as to what happened - either Lidle was hopped up on a cocktail of drugs, was drunk, wanted to commit suicide, wanted to impress his friends, or the foggy conditions simply contributed to pilot error.
NBC reports that Lidle was "not instrument rated to fly the plane and could only fly when visibility was good."
News networks reported that President Bush immediately ordered NORAD to defend the city of New York and other major cities. Whatever the nature of this incident, Bush is getting an opportunity to grandstand - and his Neo-Con mouthpieces at Fox News are rolling around in the hysteria like pigs in shit.
It is always hilarious to read the Left's take on the news.

More good news, as we see the world of liberal radio collapse into a pile of manure.
Oh, wait - it already WAS a pile of manure. Now it is a bankrupt pile of manure.
Air America Radio files for Chapter 11
NEW YORK - Air America Radio filed for bankruptcy reorganization Friday, in the latest patch of turbulence to befall the liberal talk radio network that launched two years ago headlined by the comedian and author Al Franken.
The network will continue to operate with funding from its investor group, led by RealNetworks Inc. CEO Robert Glaser, who owns 36.7 percent of the company, and two other former board members.
The company also named a new CEO Friday, Scott Elberg, a radio executive who joined the company in May 2005 following stints at the New York area radio station WKTU and other places.
Air America had dismissed rumors just one month ago that it was planning to file for bankruptcy protection. Spokeswoman Jaime Horn said Friday the filing became necessary only recently after negotiations with a creditor broke down
As we like to say: darn darn darn darn darn.

Lynn Stewart, the psychopathic leftwing pro-terrorist lawyer who defended the instigator behind the first WTC attack in 1993, is to be sentenced for her role in aiding those terrorists.
The left is not happy. Because they constantly side against America, we can understand why.
N.Y. lawyer's case prompts debate on Bush tactics
NEW YORK, Oct 12 (Reuters) - The case of a New York attorney convicted of aiding terrorism has prompted debate among U.S. lawyers about whether the Bush administration wants to scare them away from representing terrorist defendants.
Lynne Stewart was convicted in February 2005 of helping a client smuggle messages to militant followers and is to be sentenced on Monday. She faces more than 15 years in prison.
"Her case is an example of the way in which the government is equating individuals who represent terrorists with terrorists themselves -- that language of 'if you're not with us you're against us'," said Rachel Meeropol of the Center for Constitutional Rights.
"It's a scare tactic," she said. "It is worrisome that attorneys might become less able to represent out of fear of being prosecuted."
Hey! Who is Rachel Meeropol? She is the granddaughter of notorious traitors Julius and Ethel Rosenberg, who were executed for heping the Soviets get the atomic bomb. So it is not strange that that family continues to support those who wish to destroy America.

With all the media in a flutter about sexual scandals in Washington, they missed this one: a Downie caught in compromising homosexual photos.
Despite Revealing Photos, Senator to Run
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- State Sen. Randy White said Wednesday he would continue his campaign for a second term, despite the embarrassment of revealing photos of him aired on a Charleston television station.
The Webster County Democrat blamed a disgruntled former employee for stealing the photos from his computer. Some show him nude, while others show at least two men whose bodies were painted.
"There was nothing sexual about these pictures, and nothing sexual before, during or after they were taken," White said. "But it does look bad, and it is not easy to explain."
In a Tuesday letter to newspapers in his district, White apologized for the photos and cited a recent bout with depression and a "personal identification situation."
Here's the standard: if you are a Republican, the media will denote every salacious moment of a sexual scandal. If you are a Downie, the media will just say you have some problems and move on.
2 years ago, when the issue of Iran's continued move to build a nuclear weapon came to become a world crisis, the Europeans begged President Bush not to solve the issue militarily, but to hand it to them so that they could "talk" to Iran, make them see the goodness in diplomacy over attack, and get an agreement to stop uranium enrichment. In that time, the Peons, led by Europeon Union policy chief Javier Solana, have talked and talked and talked until they are blue in the face. What does Iran say after 2 years? No stop to uranium enrichment. What does the West have to show for 2 years of "diplomacy"? Iran is now 2 years closer to a nuclear weapon, endangering the whole world.
Iran signals refusal of nuclear freeze: EU diplomat
Iran has indicated to European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana it will not freeze its most sensitive nuclear work and major powers will consult later this week on sanctions, a European diplomat said yesterday.
Solana has been trying to coax Iran into halting uranium enrichment, which Teheran says will only generate electricity but which the West suspects is aimed at developing an atomic bomb, to avert possible UN sanctions.
"It's clear that's the situation. They cannot accept suspension," a European diplomat familiar with Solana's talks with chief Iranian negotiator Ali Larijani said.
The diplomat said foreign ministers of the major powers were likely to meet in London on Friday or Saturday to assess the outcome after four months of talks and decide on seeking gradual sanctions, targeted on Iran's nuclear program.
Javier Solana is plainly an imbecile. The voices in the US and abroad should grow that he needs to resign his post, immediately.

The BBC, the most anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, and anti-American "news" organization outside of the Middle East, is now targeting its own people, as those who deign to wear a cross to show their love of their religion are being told to stop wearing any religious jewelry.
However, if any Muslim wishes to show the hijab or burqa, that is just fine.
Fiona Bruce, the BBC and the PC fanatics who hate her cross
IT IS A small piece of jewellery worn by women up and down the land.
But yesterday BBC news presenter Fiona Bruce’s necklace provoked a row.
The argument among governors and executives was about whether Ms Bruce should be allowed to wear a cross while presenting the Ten O’Clock News.
The small ornament has been described by a former BBC policymaker as "a potential mistake" as it could suggest a religious affiliation on the part of Ms Bruce.
The newsreader and presenter of Crimewatch UK and Real Story has worn a similar necklace for several years, and is seen in our page one picture wearing a cross in 2004.
But the debate about her jewellery began last month during a seminar about impartiality organised by BBC governors. They were debating hypothetical questions, including whether a female Muslim newsreader should be allowed to wear a hijab – a headscarf.
The issue of Ms Bruce’s cross was then raised by director of BBC News Helen Boaden.
"It was argued that BBC staff on screen should not wear anything which hints or directly points to a political or religious leaning and that the cross contravened this and should not be allowed," said someone privy to the meeting.
However Oxford-educated mother-of-two Ms Bruce, 42, is not believed to have been asked to remove the jewellery.
Now, check out the (usually) lame excuse the morons at the BBC give for cracking down on those dangerous crosses:
In a separate debate organised by a media website about broadcasting ethics, Stephen Whittle, who was controller of BBC editorial policy until last year, and a former head of the Broadcasting Standards Commission, also raised the subject of the cross.
"A newsreader should not let themselves get in the way of a story by wearing things that make the audience wonder about the newsreader’s own position on a story. Fiona Bruce did wear a cross recently on a news programme, which was probably a mistake," he said.
It is a mistake to wear a cross, but the BBC is only debating if someone can wear a Muslim headscarf.
PC bullshit, mixed with far left psychosis, is now the rule of the day at the taxpayer-financed BBC.

The Left in America and around the world loves to poke fun at the United States over holding terrorists, whether in Guantanamo Bay or somewhere else. "How can you hold people without trial for indefinite periods?" the Left asks. "Why are you violating their human rights, these poor things?" is their standard horseshit moan.
The Left has always run by the mantra "do as we say, not as we do." Imagine our surprise when that mantra can be applied to this situation...because, as the Canadian government was bemoaning the death of civil liberties for terrorists in America and demanding trials and rights for these Islamic thugs, Canada was, well, holding a terrorist without trial and without charges - since 2001.
Suspected Egyptian terrorist detained without charge still a threat: govt
TORONTO (CP) - A government lawyer says an Egyptian man detained for five years without charge should stay in jail because he poses a threat to national security.
Crown lawyer Donald MacIntosh told Federal Court that suspected terrorist Mahmoud Jaballah should be denied bail.
MacIntosh maintains that no conditions the court could impose would be sufficient to neutralize the risk posed by Jaballah.
The 43-year-old Jaballah has been in custody since August 2001 on an unprecedented second national security certificate.
The married father of six is trying to get bail for a third time.
Canada's spy service alleges that Jaballah has top level links to the terrorist organization Egyptian Islamic Jihad, and through it is connected to al-Qaida.
Jaballah rebuffed attempts to link him to terrorism and said innocent contacts he made over the years were being taken out of context.
The government wants to deport him back to Egypt, where Jaballah argues he will be tortured or killed.
The worst part of this story is that you will not find one American who is not a leftist demanding special rights for this terrorist wannabe. Normally a country would be called on the mat for such blatant hypocrisy. Unfortunately, the world is in a fight against Islamic extremism and we cannot afford to blast our allies for doing the same thing we have been doing even though they have criticized us at every turn.
