Stephen Harper, Canadian PM, Said it Best: "Kyoto is a Socialist Scheme"

We have been more than impressed with the leadership of conservative PM Stephen Harper in Canada - the country is turning around from the anti-US scumload it has been under his 2 predecessors.

Now, a letter Harper wrote in 2002, before he came to power, has been released, allegedly to embarrass Harper. We think it shows what a giant he is in world leadership in resisting the fraud that is global warming.

Harper's letter dismisses Kyoto as 'socialist scheme'

Prime Minister Stephen Harper once called the Kyoto accord a "socialist scheme" designed to suck money out of rich countries, according to a letter leaked Tuesday by the Liberals.

The letter, posted on the federal Liberal party website, was apparently written by Harper in 2002, when he was leader of the now-defunct Canadian Alliance party.

He was writing to party supporters, asking for money as he prepared to fight then-prime minister Jean Chrétien on the proposed Kyoto accord.

"We're gearing up now for the biggest struggle our party has faced since you entrusted me with the leadership," Harper's letter says.

"I'm talking about the 'battle of Kyoto' — our campaign to block the job-killing, economy-destroying Kyoto accord."

The accord is an international environmental pact that sets targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

Canada officially ratified the accord Dec. 17, 2002, under Chrétien's Liberal government. Harper's Conservative government, which took power January 2006, has since been accused of ignoring the accord.

Harper's letter goes on to outline why he's against the agreement.

Accord based on 'contradictory' data: Harper

He writes that it's based on "tentative and contradictory scientific evidence" and it focuses on carbon dioxide, which is "essential to life."

He says Kyoto requires that Canada make significant cuts in emissions, while countries like Russia, India and China face less of a burden.

Under Kyoto, Canada was required to reduce emissions by six per cent by 2012, while economies in transition, like Russia, were allowed to choose different base years. As developing nations, China and India were exempted from binding targets for the first round of reductions.

"Kyoto is essentially a socialist scheme to suck money out of wealth-producing nations," Harper's letter reads.

He said the accord would cripple the oil and gas industries, which are essential to Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia.

He wrote in the letter that he would do everything he could to stop Chrétien from passing the Kyoto agreement.

"We will do everything we can to stop him there, but he might get it passed with the help of the socialists in the NDP and the separatists in the BQ [Bloc Québécois]."

The Prime Minister's Office refused to comment about the letter on the record.

In recent weeks, Harper has spoken strongly about the environment, saying he will dramatically revamp his minority government's much-criticized clean air act.

His comments come as public-opinion polls indicate the environment has become the number one issue among Canadians.

Liberal MP Mark Holland told the Canadian Press on Tuesday that the leaked letter shows that Harper isn't actually committed to climate change.

"Now, suddenly, because he has seen the polls and realized the political opportunism of going green, the prime minister has launched a new campaign — that of trying to convince Canadians that he actually cares about the environment," Holland said.

"But no one is buying it."

The Kyoto Protocol went into effect Feb. 16, 2005, with 141 countries signing on, including every major industrialized country, except the United States, Australia and Monaco.

Cheers to Harper! Don't buckle to the socialist imbeciles in your country's Parliament! Stand tough!

Will Curt Shilling Run Against John Kerry in 2008?

News out of Massachusetts that Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Shilling, a Republican, is considering a run against John Kerry in 2008.

We personally hate the Red Sox, but we wish Shilling well and wholly support him if he runs.

Just imagine if we could knock off John Kerry in 2008. Just imagine!

Curt: I will ‘seriously consider’ political life

For a pitching ace, Curt Schilling sounded an awful lot like a politician yesterday, even as he declared his intentions to stay with Red Sox beyond the 2007 season.

“We have really gotten to . . . a point in time in this country where I really do feel like people are pulling the lever for the candidate they dislike the least,” Schilling said during an interview on WRKO radio. “And that’s sad, it really is."

Schilling downplayed talk of a future run for John F. Kerry’s Senate seat, but he also said he has considered politics as a possible next step to a baseball career that has brought him name recognition and enormous public admiration.

“Since (politics) has come up, it’s something my wife and I have talked about a couple of times,” Schilling told WRKO’s Todd Feinburg yesterday. “If this were something I would seriously consider in the future, it would be . . . to make a difference in the world, not to do anything other than that.”

Political analysts have not started running the polling numbers just yet, but they say Schilling’s popularity, wealth and intelligence give him the raw materials needed to be a serious contender.

“Considering the lack of Republicans who could give John Kerry a run, Schilling has as good a chance as anybody,” Boston University professor Tobe Berkovitz said yesterday. “The press always likes a quirky, unique candidate, and Schilling certainly fits that."

Even if Shilling was a liberal Republican, he would still be a 10,000% improvement over John Kerry, that traitorous son of a bitch.

Run, Curt, run!

USA Today: Hillary Clinton is a "War Hero"

When Bill Clinton was President, the media tried not to remind anyone that he was a draft-dodger, despite the fact that he sent American military men and women into battle. When George W. Bush, who served in the Air National Guard and could have been sent to Vietnam, sends troops into battle, the media mentions how he never saw action himself. Even CBS News, and their former retard/newscaster Dan Blather falsified a story that Bush was a "deserter," complete with forged documents. Hypocrisy 101 at its finest.

Now comes Hillary Clinton, whose attempt to make the US health care system into a Marxist nightmare was shot down by the American people, to run for President. Hillary, like her husband, had never served one day in the US military. However, for some reason, the media is changing its rules back once again - because, now, Hillary Clinton is a "war hero."

Which war? None that we can tell.

How 'mamisma' can change politics

Hillary Clinton might remind us that she was an early champion of health care reform and that she suffered attacks from all sides for it. Advisers may warn candidate Clinton to sidestep this chapter in her past. But if she were to forget this advice and follow the rules of mamisma, she would promote the fact that surviving the onslaught is her war-hero record. McCain, too, fought in an unpopular and losing war.

That's the American media: Bill Clinton is NOT a draft dodger, even though he was. George W. Bush is a "deserter," even though he served. Hillary Clinton is a "war hero" like John McCain for having worked to destroy American health care.

Buckle up, America, for the largest onslaught of unadulterated horseshit as the MSM tries to convince you to vote Downie, while telling you that up is down and red is blue.

France is Happy to Have "Good Relations with the US"

France, the enemy of America who has spent the last number of years fighting the US on every foreign policy subject, and which boasts a criminal as President (Jackie Chirac, friend of Saddam Hussein), now says that relations between the US and the Frenchfries is at an all-time high, and they are happy.

Really? Let's hear what they have to say about the matter:

French diplomat says ties with U.S. are on the mend

Relations between France and the United States are back on track after years of tumult and should remain that way regardless of who wins the French presidential election this spring, Paris' envoy to Washington said yesterday.

Jean-David Levitte, who took over the French Embassy in December 2002 at a time of strained ties just before the Iraq war began, said he is a "happy ambassador" these days because the two countries have similar positions on most key issues.

"Today, our relationship is back on the right track," Mr. Levitte told editors and reporters at The Washington Times. "These are not only words; these are deeds."

His comments on Lebanon's political crisis, Syria's behavior, Iran's nuclear program and its larger role in the Middle East were almost identical to the Bush administration's positions.

That's incredible! Washington and Paris agree on things, including Iran's nuclear program, right? Wow!

If you read another story, things are not so "wow" as we first thought.

Europe Resists U.S. Push to Curb Iran Ties

European governments are resisting Bush administration demands that they curtail support for exports to Iran and that they block transactions and freeze assets of some Iranian companies, officials on both sides say. The resistance threatens to open a new rift between Europe and the United States over Iran.

Administration officials say a new American drive to reduce exports to Iran and cut off its financial transactions is intended to further isolate Iran commercially amid the first signs that global pressure has hurt Iran’s oil production and its economy. There are also reports of rising political dissent in Iran.

In December, Iran’s refusal to give up its nuclear program led the United Nations Security Council to impose economic sanctions. Iran’s rebuff is based on its contention that its nuclear program is civilian in nature, while the United States and other countries believe Iran plans to make weapons.

At issue now is how the resolution is to be carried out, with Europeans resisting American appeals for quick action, citing technical and political problems related to the heavy European economic ties to Iran and its oil industry.

“We are telling the Europeans that they need to go way beyond what they’ve done to maximize pressure on Iran,” said a senior administration official. “The European response on the economic side has been pretty weak.” The American demands and European responses were provided by 10 different officials, including both supporters and critics of the American approach.

One irony of the latest pressure, European and American officials say, is that on their own, many European banks have begun to cut back their transactions with Iran, partly because of a Treasury Department ban on using dollars in deals involving two leading Iranian banks.

American pressure on European governments, as opposed to banks, has been less successful, administration and European officials say.

The main targets are Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Austria, the Netherlands, Sweden and Britain, all with extensive business dealings with Iran, particularly in energy. Administration officials say, however, that Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, the current head of the European Union, has been responsive.

Perhaps France is just full of shit, as usual.

Nancy Pelosi's Corruption Continues

The MSM in America is in a love affair with Nancy Pelosi - after all, she is the first female Speaker of the US House, and she blinks 2000-3000 times a second, meaning that you can smell the smoke coming from her thinking processes.

Just last week, we reported that Madame Shrieker, er, Speaker, helped insert into the Downies' minimum wage bill an exemption for American Samoa, which has plants whose corporate headquarters are in San Francisco, Pelosi's home district. When it was pointed out to Pelosi, at first she feigned lack of knowledge about the exemption, then said it would be pulled.

As of this week, Downies tried to push it through the US Senate...with the exemption intact.

Nancy Pelosi lied? Shock of shocks!

Senate's wage bill still exempts Samoa

The Democrat-controlled Senate took up a bill yesterday that would raise the minimum wage across the United States and its territories but exempt American Samoa, where tuna canneries pay workers $3.26 an hour.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi told reporters less than two weeks ago that she would close the loophole after coming under criticism from Republicans for what they termed a "fishy favor" to StarKist Tuna. StarKist has lobbied for years against raising the minimum wage in American Samoa, and its parent, Del Monte Corp., is based in Mrs. Pelosi's San Francisco district.

"I have asked the education and labor committee as they go forward with the legislation to make sure that all of the territories have to comply with U.S. law on the minimum wage," Mrs. Pelosi said earlier this month.

The House, however, passed the minimum-wage bill with the American Samoa exemption. And yesterday, Senate Democrats were moving ahead with the original legislation, which for the first time would enforce the minimum wage on the Northern Mariana Islands, another territory in the Pacific with a similarly low minimum wage.

That bill is co-sponsored by several dozen Democrats, including Sens. Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer of California.

However, here is some good news: the bill has been filibustered in the US Senate by the Republicans. And this makes the Downies steaming mad.

Fuck them.

Senate Republicans block minimum wage hike

Senate Republicans on Wednesday blocked a Democratic bill to increase the federal minimum wage for the first time in a decade, demanding it first include small-business tax relief.

On a vote of 54-43, Democrats fell six short of the 60 needed to end debate and go to passage of the House-passed measure, which would raise the minimum wage to $7.25 per hour from $5.15 per hour over two years.

Republicans demanded tax breaks be added to the legislation to help small business cover the proposed pay hike for millions of America's lowest paid workers. Senate Democratic leaders have indicated they would be willing to go along with some sort of tax relief if necessary to win approval.

But Democratic Sen. Edward Kennedy of Massachusetts led the charge against attaching tax breaks to the bill, saying in the past decade the U.S. Congress has provided billions of dollars in tax relief to corporations and the wealthiest Americans.

"Why can't we do just one thing for minimum wage workers? No strings attached, no giveaways for the powerful?," Kennedy asked.

You can see the dementia from the nutbag like Ted Kennedy, who thinks that small business owners who employ only a few workers but create most of the new jobs in this countrt are "the powerful."

We are glad to see the Republicans block this bad bill, for whatever reason. Let's see how long it takes before the liberal media assholes characterize the filibuster, used by Downies to excess, as "arcane" and "blocking good legislation."

Pushing Republicans to take the "NRSC Pledge"

We are presenting here to any Republican the right to sign a pledge - asking that the National Republican Senatorial Committee not give any money to any candidate or sitting Senator running in 2008 who desires to stand with traitorous Democrats in voting against President Bush's surge of troops to Iraq.

Sign the pledge, and tell the NRSC: not one dollar for traitorous Republicans, or we will sit home and not vote.

The NRSC Pledge

If the United States Senate passes a resolution, non-binding or otherwise, that criticizes the commitment of additional troops to Iraq that General Petraeus has asked for and that the president has pledged, and if the Senate does so after the testimony of General Petraeus on January 23 that such a resolution will be an encouragement to the enemy, I will not contribute to any Republican senator who voted for the resolution. Further, if any Republican senator who votes for such a resolution is a candidate for re-election in 2008, I will not contribute to the National Republican Senatorial Committee unless the Chairman of that Committee, Senator Ensign, commits in writing that none of the funds of the NRSC will go to support the re-election of any senator supporting the non-binding resolution.

And send an e-mail to Chuck Hagel, traitor from Nebraska: Leave our party and join the traitors on the other side, you piece of shit.

Muslims in Britain Want an End to "Vaccines"

The Muslims in the world, as we have seen, are trying to bring the world not forward but backward, to sometime around the 7th century, so that everyone can be as backward as they are.

To this end, now they want an end to vaccines. Wait - did you read that right? You did, unfortunately.

Muslims want an end to vaccines because they are "unclean."

Muslims being stupid was not covered in this story.

Muslim urged to shun 'unholy' vaccines

A MUSLIM doctors’ leader has provoked an outcry by urging British Muslims not to vaccinate their children against diseases such as measles, mumps and rubella because it is “un-Islamic”.

Dr Abdul Majid Katme, head of the Islamic Medical Association, is telling Muslims that almost all vaccines contain products derived from animal and human tissue, which make them “haram”, or unlawful for Muslims to take.

Islam permits only the consumption of halal products, where the animal has had its throat cut and bled to death while God’s name is invoked.

Islam also forbids the eating of any pig meat, which Katme says is another reason why vaccines should be avoided, as some contain or have been made using pork-based gelatine.

His warning has been criticised by the Department of Health and the British Medical Association, who said Katme risked increasing infections ranging from flu and measles to polio and diphtheria in Muslim communities.

Katme, a psychiatrist who has worked in the National Health Service for 15 years, wields influence as the head of one of only two national Islamic medical organisations as well as being a member of the Muslim Council of Britain. Moderate Muslims are concerned at the potential impact because other Islamic doctors will have to confirm vaccines are derived from animal and human products.

There is already evidence of lower than average vaccination rates in Muslim areas, reducing the prospect of the “herd immunity” needed to curb infectious diseases such as measles, mumps and rubella.

Katme’s appeal reflects a global movement by some hardline Islamic leaders who are telling followers torefuse vaccines from the West.

In Nigeria, Afghanistan, Pakistan and parts of India, Muslims have refused to be immunised against polio after being told that the vaccines contain products that the West has deliberately added to make the recipients infertile.

As more countries buckle to their growing Muslim populations, more people will get sick. And that will make health costs and deaths shoot right up.

Muslim paranoia, mixed with Muslim imbecility, is making this world dangerous, apart from Muslim terrorism.

Increasing Palestinian Civil War is now "Violence" in the US Media

The American media is trying not to cover the ongoing civil war in the Palestinian terrortories (that is not a typo), hoping that the subhumans in charge of the place will make up and start bombing Jews in Israel again. That appears to be a dwindling hope, as the "violence" is now out of control.

Hamas-Fatah violence continues; 20 dead

GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip - Gunmen from the rival Hamas and Fatah movements battled in Gaza City for a third straight day Saturday, firing mortars and grenades in clashes that killed two men in the increasingly bloody power struggle over the Palestinian government.

The deaths brought to 20 the number of Palestinians killed since late Thursday, with at least 66 people wounded and efforts to forge a coalition government at a standstill.

The latest fighting, which started late Thursday after a Hamas activist was killed in a bombing, has been among the deadliest in nearly two months of clashes.

Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas issued a statement calling for calm.

But in a clear jab at the moderate Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah, Haniyeh criticized "troublemakers who are trying to veer away from the path of our people" by receiving "dirty American funding and arms." The White House is seeking some $85 million to help bolster Abbas' forces.

As we have said before, let us all stand back and allow these thugs to slaughter each other in ever increasing numbers. It does two things: it keeps Muslims fighting each other, and it keeps them from blowing up innocent Jews, both of which are good things. Here's to more "violence" among Palestinians!

Muslims Protest Hiring of Glenn Beck

CNN gave him a forum, and now "Good Morning America" wants to do the same: libertarian/conservative Glenn Beck is about to start on ABC's morning show.

However, Beck is outspoken in his condemnation of Islamic terror. So, Muslims in the US are mad and are demanding that ABC not hire him.

Let us see which side has power in the US: free speech, or Islamic intimidation.

We fear that we know the answer.

Arab groups protest Beck's hiring

NEW YORK - Three groups are urging ABC News not to keep CNN Headline News personality Glenn Beck on as a "Good Morning America" commentator because they believe he's biased against Arabs.

The Arab American Institute, American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee and the Muslim Public Affairs Council all said Thursday they had written to ABC News President David Westin about Beck.

"Good Morning America" executive producer Jim Murphy has spoken to a representative of the groups and has invited them on the air to talk about their grievances, said ABC News spokeswoman Jeffrey Schneider. Beck has appeared twice on the show, once together with a Muslim religious leader.

The groups said that Beck _ who's drawing strong ratings with his evening show on CNN Headline News _ has stated on his show that Arab and Muslim Americans are apathetic to terrorism. During an interview in November with Minnesota Rep. Keith Ellison, the first Muslim member of Congress, Beck asked him to "prove to me that you are not working with our enemies."

"That blatant anti-Arab, anti-Muslim bias has been given credibility on a larger news show is something that concerns us," said Arab American Institute spokeswoman Jennifer Kauffman.

What ABC should do is hire us for commentary. Then these Muslim fanatics will get a view that makes Beck look positively moderate.

British Labour Party Accused of "Losing Control over Gun Crime"

It has always been argued that when guns are taken away from honest citizens, only the criminals will have access to them. Case in point: in Great Britain, it has become illegal to own your own gun. So who owns them now? Criminals, of course. And crime is way up because of it.

Liberal thinking: it will be the death of all of us.

Gun crime: Labour 'losing control'

Labour has been accused of losing control of gun crime as new figures show a sharp rise in armed robberies.

Guns were used in 4,120 robberies last year - a 10% jump - including a 9% rise to 1,439 in the number of street robberies where guns were used.

There was also a rapid and unexplained increase in the number of times householders were confronted in their own homes by armed criminals. Residential firearms robberies show a 46% leap, a record 645 cases in England and Wales - up 204 on the previous year and four times the level recorded in 2000-01.

The figures come a day after two men armed with a replica gun robbed a Home Office worker on his way home after sharing a curry with Home Secretary John Reid. The 29-year-old civil servant was making his way home in Beckenham, Kent, shortly before midnight when he was attacked.

A Met Police spokeswoman said the man's wallet and mobile phone were taken and confirmed that two teenage men remain in custody at a south London police station.

The Home Office report shows that handguns are the most commonly used firearm in robberies, reported in 2,888 cases.

Shadow home secretary David Davis said of the figures: "This shows Labour is losing control of gun crime across the board, whether it be on the street or in innocent people's homes.

"Gun crime is mainly fuelled by gang warfare and drug addiction, which is a consequence of Labour's failing drugs policy. It is exacerbated by our porous borders, which allow illegal weapons to flow into the country."

Remember that for a long time, Downies in the US called for "gun control." Fortunately, their heads were handed to them electorally, and they dropped that from their "platform of ideas." Notice that the Downie leadership in Congress doesn't even mention the words "gun control."

We wonder why.

John Kerry Threatens America...Again

In an piece of news all Americans should have cheered, John Kerry announced this week that he will not run for President in 2008, sparing this country of having this incredible ignoramus possibly becoming president.

However, Kerry threatens America...by saying he could run in 2012.

God help us, please.

Kerry says he wants to focus on Iraq war

WASHINGTON -- Senator John F. Kerry said yesterday that he had "deep second-thoughts" before deciding to forgo a second run for president because his 2004 campaign -- in which he captured his party's nomination after starting far back in the polls -- showed that the unexpected can happen in politics and that a surprise twist or turn can make a candidate viable again.

[...]

Speaking with the Globe, Kerry said he still intends to use his influence in presidential politics. He said he wouldn't rule out a run five years from now or beyond. He noted that he considers himself "a very young man" at age 63; by 2012, he'll still be younger than Senator John McCain of Arizona, a GOP presidential contender who is 71.

Perhaps Senator Kerry can spend the next five years keeping his foot out of his mouth and, at the same time, having the bolts in his neck tightened.

Carl Levin: Worried About Losing a Vote, not Worried About Losing a War

Senator Carl Levin of Michigan is one of the leaders pushing to make sure that America loses the war in Iraq. He has placed his own horribly inflated ego above the interests of his country.

He is upset, however - because if the anti-war scum lose the vote in the Senate, we might actually win the war. Levin is pissed - to him, to lose the vote is intolerable, but to lose the war is no big deal.

2 Demos push anti-war measure

Two leading Senate Democrats sought to build support Sunday for a bipartisan resolution opposing President Bush's war strategy in Iraq, cautioning that division over whether the measure goes far enough could spell defeat.

"The worst thing we can do is to vote on something which is critical of the current policy and lose it," said Sen. Carl Levin, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. "The public doesn't support his policy; a majority of the Congress doesn't support his policy."

"If we lose that vote, the president will use the defeat of a resolution as support for his public policy," said Levin, D-Mich.

With people like this sitting in a position of power, this country is guaranteed to go downhill.

Never let it be said that Carl Levin was a patriotic American. He is just a thug in a suit.

Joobo: Cracking the Skulls of Leftwing Imbeciles

"Little Chuckie" Schumer Speaks to People Who Don't Exist

Imagine if George Bush said that he spoke to people who were fictitious. That's right - we said "fictitious." Made up. Fake. Frauds.

In an interview, "Little Chuckie" Schumer, Downie and Industrial-sized moron from New York, brags about talking to people and getting their vote last November - but he admits that these people do not exist.

We Can Win the White House

Biking through New York's boroughs in 2005, I thought about some old friends, Joe and Eileen Bailey. Though they are imaginary, I frequently talk to them. To me, they represent the hardworking and often-ignored families who are not tuned in to special-interest newsletters or editorial pages, but want a little something more from their government and their leaders.

Questions abound from this story:

First, who the hell gives names to fictitious people?

Second, why is a sitting US Senator talking to people who are not there?

Third, why is "Little Chuckie" not in a straitjacket and institutionalized?

Is Nancy Pelosi Responsible?

When a hurricane hits New Orleans, Downies say George W. Bush is responsible. When ice melts too quickly in the Antarctic, Downies say George W. Bush is responsible. When Muslims in some shithole overseas bomb something, Downies say George W. Bush is responsible. Thus, the Downie plan is simple: blame all bad things on George W. Bush.

Using that time-tested formula, we found a news story which we believe can be blamed on Nancy Pelosi (D-Nutjob) - after all, this is happening right in her own district.

Golden Gate Bridge Suicides Rise Sharply

At least 34 people committed suicide by jumping off San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge last year, the Marin County Coroner's office said.

The coroner's office confirmed that 29 people jumped to their deaths from the world-famous span, while San Francisco County reported four such suicides and Contra Costa County reported one, according to Marin County Coroner Ken Holmes.

"The world's most frequent suicide site keeps its grisly status," Holmes said in a statement.

So, we have come to this grim conclusion: Suicides from the Golden Gate Bridge can be blamed on Nancy Pelosi's election as Speaker of the House.

Until we find other evidence of why the suicide rate is up, this can be the only reason possible.

Watch Out: Here Come the Downercrats, Reaching into Your Wallet!

We warned everyone: if the Downies get control of Congress, they will jack up taxes, and find ways to "redistribute wealth" from the rich to the poor, which, in the end, will destroy the American economy.

They are in power 3 weeks, and already they are starting down that road.

Democrats Vow to Combat Global Warming

Democratic leaders in Congress vowed today to push forward with legislative efforts to combat global warming and promote energy independence, issues that they said have not been adequately addressed by President Bush because his administration has been "overwhelmed" by the war in Iraq.

Yep - Bush is "ignoring" global warming because of Iraq. Yep - that's the ticket.

But, check out the rest of this pile of crap called the Downie Program for Destroying America:

"It is important to our children's health and their global competitiveness to rid this nation of our dependence on foreign oil and Big Oil interests," Pelosi told the news conference today. "Taking bold measures today to achieve energy independence within 10 years must be the highest priority for this Congress."

She said the Democratic-controlled House would work with the global religious, business and scientific communities to "continue robust research on global warming and produce policies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions while simultaneously creating good-paying jobs."

Democrats want to work with Bush on this issue in a bipartisan way, "but we cannot afford to wait," she said. She pledged passage of "groundbreaking legislation that addresses global warming and energy independence."

Reid said that America's "dangerous dependence on oil" is among a number of national security challenges that have not been adequately confronted "because this administration has been all-consumed and, frankly, overwhelmed by its own failed policies in Iraq."

Message from Pelosi: Sign into law our bills that ruin the economy, or we will do something drastic.

Remember: we warned you about this bunch of nutjobs.

CNN's Amanpour: The Reason for Radical Muslims is...George W. Bush!

Christiane Amanpour of CNN, always one to find fault with all that President Bush does, is in the midst of a program on the radicalization of Muslims, particularly in Great Britain. Check out, however, what she found is making these normally peaceful Muslims so darn fucking mad:

Amanpour: Radical, moderate Muslims battle for young English minds

When we reported the unprecedented suicide bombings of the London underground trains and buses in 2005, we were shocked beyond words that young British Muslims, born and bred here, would go to that extreme.

We could not understand what would drive them to kill themselves and their fellow citizens.

And so we started to investigate what we call "The War Within."

What struck us most was how deeply the Iraq war has radicalized today's generation of young Muslims in Britain. Whether extreme or mainstream, they are angry about the war, angry that their country so devotedly follows U.S. foreign policy, angry at what they see as a worldwide war against Muslims and Islam.

Hey - the message is that there were no Islamic terror attacks before George W. Bush started that war in Iraq! The WTC bombing in 1993? Bush's fault! The Khobar Towers attack in 1996? Bush's fault! The African Embassies attacks in 1998? The USS Cole attack in October 2000? All George Bush's fault!

However, what is next for these otherwise-peaceful Muslims, incited to violence by 14 years of George W. Bush?

Somalia - where, history tells us, George W. Bush let American troops die in 1993.

And this week, a report in the London Sunday Times says Choudary has been using a false name on a password-protected Web site to incite Muslims to go to Somalia to wage holy war.

You have to hand it to CNN. They can have one of their shows actually blame George W. Bush for everything bad that appears to have happened when his predecessor, a Downie named Bill Clinton, was in office getting his dick sucked on a regular basis in the Oval Office while he was raping and harassing women, as well as obstructing justice and committing criminal acts.

Of course, CNN won't tell you that, no matter how delusional Muslims are. If they think it, it must be right.

British Journalist Lays it Out: The BBC Sucks, Wastes Our Money, and Forces Us to Pay for It

British journalist Charles Moore writes in The Telegraph of London that he is fed up paying a "licence fee" so that the BBC, that anti-American, anti-Semitic, and anti-capitalist network can steal billions of pounds from British taxpayers.

Here is our question: Why is there not some revolt amongst the British people to stop paying this hilarious fee? Two weeks and the whole rotten system would come tumbling down.

If the BBC is so good, we will give it money

Once the BBC extorts this money, it spends it generously on itself. According to press reports last year, Jonathan Ross gets £530,000 a year for three hours a week on Radio 2 and Terry Wogan gets £800,000 for 10 hours a week.

As it happens, although I possess a radio, I have never listened to either millionaire. But I do not begrudge them their gold. I just don't see why I or anyone else should be made to pay for them.

The Prime Minister is paid £185,771 per year out of tax. The director-general of the BBC is paid £609,000. I shall not attempt to judge who is "worth" what as an individual. But my simple point is that I cannot see another way of paying for a prime minister except through tax (though I suppose he could be "sponsored" by McDonald's or something); whereas broadcasting could get on quite cheerfully without a director-general, because it could get on quite cheerfully without a BBC.

Yet the BBC Charter is once again to be renewed for another 10 years, and the licence fee (at present £131.50 a year) will have its increase announced next week.

It shows amazing docility on the part of the British people that we accept it. Perhaps this is to do with the fact that people over 75, who still have the habit of voting, get their licence free. People under 30, who have virtually no interest in the BBC, seldom bother to vote.

Interesting thinking, but check out Moore's gripes with "the Beeb":

First, there is the bias, or perhaps mindset is a better word.

If (God forbid) you spoke to 100 journalists on the BBC, you would find that more than 85 were anti-American, pro-green and opposed to the war in Iraq. They would be happy making a programme about lying tobacco companies and unhappy making one about too many immigrants.

Virtually every single attitude can be predicted. This week, a new year memo by the BBC's Middle-East Editor, Jeremy Bowen, was leaked. He described the situation in Palestine as "the death of hope, caused by a cocktail of Israel's military activities, land expropriation and settlement-building – and the financial sanctions imposed on a Hamas-led government".

What about the fact that Israel has actually left Gaza, that Palestinians have misappropriated aid, that "militants" (as the BBC likes to call them) have murdered Israelis, or that a Hamas-led government with Western money might not be a very good thing? Is nothing the fault of Palestinian leaders?

Look at the BBC history website's entry on the Provisional IRA. It fails to mention the fact that they killed actual people, whereas that on the loyalist UVF (rightly) gives the number of victims and uses words like "vicious". The BBC never surprises.

As someone who is rather more pro-American than pro-EU, pro-Israel than pro-Palestinian, pro-tax cuts than pro-higher public spending, and a lot more pro-Britain than pro-its enemies, I don't like underwriting a religion I don't believe in. It's like being frogmarched into the pew, preached at against your will and then having your wallet emptied.

Moore nails it right on the head. We feel raped, and we don't even live in the UK to have to pay this phony fee.

Out of Ideas, Out of Time

Joining the rest of the pathetic American media, Time Magazine is laying off people left and right (more left than right), because their silly magazine is not selling as well as it once did.

How Many? 289 Out at Time Inc.

Today's job eliminations at Time Inc. totaled 289 mostly editorial posts after all was said and done, including layoffs at crown jewel People, flagship Time and other magazines from Entertainment Weekly to Sports Illustrated.

Time Inc., the country's largest magazine publisher, spent the morning telling hundreds of staffers their jobs were being eliminated -- in its latest and largest yet round of staff cuts -- for the company's good.

"As you all know, the past year has been a time of transition at Time Inc.," said Chairman-CEO Ann S. Moore in a midday memo to staff. "While we continue to invest in our core magazines, we are also focused on transforming our work force and broadening our digital capabilities in order to become a truly multiplatform publisher.

There it is: "a time of transition." That is liberalspeak for "profits are way down because our magazine sucks real bad."

Nancy Pelosi: Gutless Wonder

The Downies are now against a war they voted for, which, for them, is no big deal, as they exhibit base hypocrisy every day. But now, they want to label Iraq as "George Bush's war."

As bad as that is, the Downies every day complain about ending the war. But, as Nancy Pelosi (D-Nutjob) makes clear, she has no guts to try to vote to cut off funds for the war.

Exclusive: Pelosi Won't Block Iraq Funding to Stop Troop Surge

Jan. 18, 2007 — There may be a growing battle between Congress and the president over the Iraq War strategy, but new House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., said she won't block funding for additional troops.

[...]

Are you going to move to cut off funding for troops going into Iraq as part of the surge?

Pelosi: Democrats will never cut off funding for our troops when they are in harm's way.

We wonder how the nutty leftwingers who voted for these imbeciles will like that stand?

Silvestre Reyes: American Imbecile and Liar

Just who is Silvestre Reyes? He is the bonehead who was named as chairman - chairman! - of the House Intelligence Committee. And why is he a bonehead? He is a Downie, after all. But that is not the complete reason. Reyes was also asked questions about Muslims and the split among them, and he did not know even basic facts that doofuses would know. Now, after he called for an increase in troops in Iraq, he waited until President Bush did just the same thing - and then he came out against it.

This fool should be replaced. But he is Nancy Pelosi's fool, so he will stay right where he is.

Tough month

On Dec. 5, Newsweek magazine touted an interview with then-incoming House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Rep. Silvestre Reyes as an "exclusive." And for good reason.

"In a surprise twist in the debate over Iraq," the story began, Mr. Reyes "said he wants to see an increase of 20,000 to 30,000 U.S. troops as part of a 'stepped up effort to dismantle the militias.'"

"We have to consider the need for additional troops to be in Iraq, to take out the militias and stabilize Iraq," the Texas Democrat said to the surprise of many, "I would say 20,000 to 30,000."

Then came President Bush's expected announcement last week, virtually matching Mr. Reyes' recommendation and argument word-for-word -- albeit the president proposed only 21,500 troops.

Wouldn't you know, hours after Mr. Bush announced his proposal, Mr. Reyes told the El Paso Times that such a troop buildup was unthinkable.

"We don't have the capability to escalate even to this minimum level," he said.

The chairman's "double-talk" did not go unnoticed. Among others, Rep. Joe Wilson, South Carolina Republican and a member of the House Armed Services Committee, says such blatant "hypocrisy" undermines both national security and the war on terrorism.

Unfortunately for the new House intelligence chief, this is his second (some would argue his third) major blunder in the space of one month. When asked by Congressional Quarterly reporter Jeff Stein whether al Qaeda was a Sunni or Shi'ite organization, he answered: "Predominantly, probably Shi'ite."

As Mr. Stein wrote later: "He couldn't have been more wrong. Al Qaeda is profoundly Sunni. If a Shi'ite showed up at an al Qaeda clubhouse, they'd slice his head off and use it for a soccer ball."

The reporter added: "To me, it's like asking about Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland: Who's on what side?"

And this man is the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee.

A pretty good trick, for a man with no intelligence.

Osama Barama Bananarama Excitement Continues

The media is in full aflutter over Barack Hussein Obama, the US Senator who has served 2 years in the Senate. After all, the media argues, Obama is black, he is black, and - let's not forget - he is black. And he could be the first black President, if elected.

His views? What are Obama's views? What has he done?

Hey! the media yells. Who cares what he stands for? Who cares what he has done? After all, he is black! That has to stand for something, right?

Reporters Swarm Obama After Announcement

WASHINGTON (AP) - A photographer or two on the beach in Hawaii is nothing compared to the Capitol Hill swarm that greeted the newest presidential hopeful - Sen. Barack Obama.

Emerging from a lunch with colleagues Wednesday, reporters pressed the Illinois Democrat, who gave away little about his budding campaign. His appearance at a routine committee hearing drew every camera in the room, while the more senior senators who are thinking of running were ignored.

“Is there something rare at this table among competitors?” a smiling Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., remarked as he sat with Obama on his left and two other potential 2008 candidates - Sens. John Kerry of Massachusetts and Joe Biden of Delaware - on his right.

After months of hype, the freshman senator jumped into the White House race Tuesday by forming a presidential exploratory committee and disclosing that an official announcement would come Feb. 10. Obama got in the race despite saying a day earlier that he was concerned to find a photographer ``lurking in the bushes'' when he was on vacation in Hawaii with his family last month.

Imagine - the reporters were "lurking"! And who could they be lurking at?

Obviously, a nobody. Because if you look at the most whitebread of sites on Obama, you will see a dearth of discussion about his stands on the issues, and even less discussion about his record, which makes him an empty suit.

Barack Obama

Barack Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961 to an American mother and a Kenyan father. When he was two, his parents, who had met as students at the University of Hawaii, divorced. Obama's Harvard-educated father then returned to Kenya, where he worked in the economics ministry. Obama lived in Indonesia with his mother and stepfather for part of his childhood, returning to Hawaii to finish high school. He graduated from Columbia University, where he majored in political science and specialized in international relations. He then attended Harvard Law School, graduated magna cum laude, and served as the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. After law school, he worked as a community organizer and a civil rights lawyer in Chicago. He also taught at the University of Chicago Law School as a senior lecturer specializing in constitutional law. Obama represented the South Side of Chicago in the Illinois State Senate from 1996–2004 as a Democrat. In 2004, he was elected to the U.S. Senate, winning with 70% of the vote against the conservative black Republican, Alan Keyes. Obama became the only African-American serving in the U.S. Senate (and the fifth in U.S. history). Obama's idealism, commitment to civil rights, and telegenic good looks generated enormous media attention for his Senate campaign. The eloquence of his keynote address at the 2004 Democratic Nation Convention in Boston, Mass., confirmed his status as one of the Democratic party's freshest and most inspirational new leaders.

So...where is his record? The answer?

He has none.

And if Barack Hussein Obama were named Robert Harry Jones, no one would give him one moment of attention, and would laugh if he said he was running for President of the United States.

Secret BBC Memo Lays Out Their Radical Anti-Semitic Program

Someone leaked an internal BBC memo to British journalist Stephen Pollard - and it lays bare any pretense that the BBC has of not being anti-Semitic and anti-Israel.

The memo blames Israel for all the problems in the region - even the Palestinian civil war now underway.

Jeremy Bowen's internal Middle East briefing; quelle surprise.

A BBC mole has sent me this briefing for BBC staff from the BBC's Middle East Editor, Jeremy Bowen, on what lies ahead this year.

It’s all too predictable. The "fragmentation" of Palestinian society has, in Mr Bowen’s view, nothing to do with the Palestinians and everything to do with Israel (“the death of hope, caused by a cocktail of Israel's military activities, land expropriation and settlement building – and the financial sanctions imposed on the Hamas led government”). Indeed, Israel is to blame for almost everything. The Palestinians are not responsible for anything; Israel is the culpable party.

He has contempt for every Israeli politician he mentions; Ehud Barak, for instance, is described as having killed "various Palestinians", written as if he did so for the sake of it.

If this is what passes for high-level analysis at the BBC, is it any wonder its reporting is so poisonous?

Here is the memo, posted by Pollard, in all its Hitlerian glory:

From: Jeremy Bowen
To: Editorial Board; Newsg World-Bureaux-Eds; Newsg World Asseds; News Leadership Group; Mark Byford & PA; Simon Wilson-NEWS; Jerusalem Bureau;

Sent: Fri Jan 05 15:16:16 2007
Subject: FW: Mini briefing on the Israeli and Palestinians

2007 has started as unpromisingly as 2006 ended. The outlook is bleak because of fundamental instabilities and weaknesses on both sides.

Israel's major military incursion into Ramallah on Thursday, killing four Palestinians after a botched arrest operation, was a reminder of the non stop pressures of the Israeli occupation.

What is new in the last year, and will be one of the big stories in the coming twelve months, is the way that Palestinian society, which used to draw strength from resistance to the occupation, is now fragmenting.

The reason is the death of hope, caused by a cocktail of Israel's military activities, land expropriation and settlement building – and the financial sanctions imposed on the Hamas led government which are destroying Palestinian institutions that were anyway flawed and fragile.

The result is that internecine violence between Hamas and Fatah is getting worse. On Thursday six people were killed in clashes between them in Gaza. The death of a major figure on either side would spark something much more serious.

In Israel the political turmoil that followed the inconclusive war with Hezbollah last summer continues unabated.

There are signs that PM Ehud Olmert is trying to set up his coalition partner Amir Peretz as a scapegoat for Israel's problems during the war and since, by ousting him from the defence ministry. Olmert may be hoping he'll get away with it because Peretz's position as Labour leader is already under attack from within his own party. Peretz's people say
that if Olmert tries it, the government will fall.

Even if does manage to demote Peretz, he probably won't improve his parlous position in the polls. It is exactly a year since Ariel Sharon's stroke, so Israelis are comparing their lost leader with the one they have now, and finding him wanting. An air of incompetence hangs around Olmert when it comes to military matters. Typical was the timing of the
raid in Ramallah, which ruined yesterday's summit with Mubarak which was supposed to bring closer the release of the captured Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit.

Olmert wants to replace Peretz at the defence ministry with Ehud Barak, the former Prime Minister. Barak is a retired general, former head of the Israeli army and its most decorated soldier. (Among his many exploits was disguising himself as a woman during a raid in Beirut to kill various Palestinians). The feeling in Israel is that 2007 will be a year of wars, so aside from coalition politics Olmert wants to have a warrior next to him when they make the tough decisions. The intray could include whether or not to attack Iran's nuclear facilities.

Another serious problem for Olmert is that yet another corruption scandal is lapping close to him. This time the head of the PM's office in Jerusalem is under house arrest for her alleged role in corruption in Israel's tax authority. Olmert is not yet implicated, though he's already been under investigation over separate allegations.

The political crises in Israel - and violent political disintegration among the Palestinians - are not just internal matters. They make it impossible for the Israelis and the Palestinians to engage in a meaningful political dialogue, assuming that their protestations that they want one are true. (The one meeting that Olmert has had with Mahmoud Abbas can hardly be called a process.)

Only strong Israeli and Palestinian leaders would be able to make the tough choices necessary to relieve the serious pressures that are building up in the holy land. To persuade their people to make the necessary concessions, they would need a strong political base, which neither Olmert nor Abbas possess.

Because they are weak - many would say lame ducks - don't expect any progress. And since an uneasy status quo cannot hold, no political progress will equal more violence.

That the British government funds these Marxist, anti-American and anti-Semitic nuts with billions of taxpayer pounds per year, and that the British people are forced to pay more even if they don't want it, shows that Tony Blair is complicit in this. Someone needs to challenge the British to make the BBC run on its own and either float or sink. And with these psychos on their staff, they do need to sink - and fast.

How Australia Confronts Militant Islam

The Australian government, led by John Howard, has heroically taken on scumbag Muslims in their own country. Howard and all of his supporters should be applauded. Now steps forward one advisor to Howard's government to say that Australia is doing something right - and the British are doing everything wrong by appeasing Muslims extremists in Britain.

How Australia confronts militant Islam

Australians are sometimes accused of being direct, even blunt. But this way of going about things seems to have worked well enough when dealing with the threat of radical Islamism Down Under. Its approach is worthy of close examination — not least in Britain. And what has been accomplished so far, though controversial, has been done with a high degree of bipartisan co-operation.

[...]

Australia’s Prime Minister, John Howard, happened to be in Washington on 9/11. Australia immediately committed special forces to the war against the Taleban and al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, which was under way when Mr Howard’s Liberal-National Party conservative coalition defeated Labor, led by Kim Beazley, at the election in November 2001. Labor supported Australia’s commitment in Afghanistan but opposed Mr Howard’s decision to commit Australia to the “coalition of the willing” in Iraq (in support of the US and Britain) in 2003.

Despite their differences on Iraq, the major parties have been more or less united on the need for a tough-minded approach to national security. Mr Beazley generally supported Mr Howard's anti-terrorism legislation and his position has been followed by Kevin Rudd, who took over as Opposition leader last December.

While the political conservatives dominate Australian national politics at the moment, the social democrats are in office in the six states and two territories that comprise the federation. By and large, the Labor Premiers, who control the police forces, have backed Mr Howard on national security. This amounts to strong bipartisan support — since about 80 per cent of Australians vote for either the conservatives or social democrats.

Since 9/11 — and particularly since the Bali bombing — the debate on national security in Australia has been frank. Australia is an immigrant nation and Muslims have been part of the immigrant experience for more than a century. Muslims from Afghanistan, Turkey and South-East Asia, among other places, have settled in well and made a significant contribution to Australian society. Yet, as in other Western democracies, there is a radical Islamist presence in Australia that has been growing in recent years and that owes its allegiance to Wahhabism and the Muslim Brotherhood.

The composition of the Australian Muslim population is significantly different from that of Britain. Radical Muslims — or their parents or grandparents — have come mostly from Lebanon or North Africa, with some from the sub-continent. In addition there are a few home-grown converts to the cause — the best known of whom are David Hicks, who is held at Guantanamo Bay, and Jack Thomas.

The evidence indicates that all radical Islamists in Australia were either born there or entered the country on valid visas. Asylum seekers, who arrived unlawfully, have not comprised a potential threat to national security.

As we like to say...Read the rest.

And mourn for the British people, whose weak leadership is leading them into a massive terrorist attack due to appeasement to Muslims.

The AP Lies Over Kyoto Protocols

According to the liberal media, George W. Bush is wholly responsible for the US rejecting the Kyoto Protocols.

In fact, the treaty was submitted to the US Senate in 1997 by Bill Clinton, and the Senate voted 99-0 not to accept it.

Of course, to tell that story means that liberals have to swallow the truth, and for them that is too unbearable for words.

UAE beats Americans' environmental harm

But the oil-rich Emirates is considered a developing country, and even as a signatory to the United Nations' Kyoto protocol on global warming, is not required to cut emissions. The United States is no longer bound by Kyoto, which the Bush administration rejected after taking office in 2001.

And the liberal media's lies go on and on and on and on...

The MSM Sides with Downercrats, Once Again

When Downercrats were in the minority in the US Senate and threatened filibusters on every issue they opposed, the American media called them "brave," and "using a Constitutional method to oppose the Republicans."

Now the Downercrats are in the majority - and guess what? Republicans threaten to use the same filibuster to oppose Downies. So, what does the American media call this? "Arcane," and "frustrat[ing] Democrats on their issues."

Hypocrisy from the MSM. Figures.

Check out these two stories: first, the story on the Republican threatened filibuster:

Bush’s Iraq Plan Meets Opposition From Congress

While Democrats control both houses of Congress, their margin in the Senate is so slender that Republican supporters there can fight back, using their chamber's arcane rules to frustrate Democrats on other issues.

Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, the Republican minority leader, hinted in morning television appearances that any legislation expressing disapproval of the president's plan might be blocked by a filibuster, the stalling move that requires 60 votes to overcome, well short of Democratic strength.

Now, let's check out what those same media whores called the filibuster back when Downies used it:

COMPROMISE IN THE SENATE: THE COMPROMISE; Efforts of 2 Respected Elders Pull Senate Back From Brink

Grim showdown in Senate over federal judicial nominees is averted after two of most senior senators, Robert C Byrd and John W Warner, study language of Constitution itself; during two private meetings they parsed language of Alexander Hamilton's Federalist paper No 66 in effort to divine what founding fathers intended when they gave Senate power to advise and consent on nominees; they then drafted three crucial paragraphs that were instrumental in bringing together 14 senators--7 Democrats and 7 Republicans--to do what chamber's leaders could not: draft a compromise; movement toward deal detailed.

Never let it be said that the media was not cheering for Downies and actually writing their stories for them.

Nutty Kucinich Wants Media to Be Liberal and Nothing Else

Dennis Kucinich, the liberal nut from Cleveland who looks like a bear after he has been shot, is now hampering to get the American media, liberal as it is, to be more liberal, because he sees unfairness in having any conservative voices be heard.

Kucinich: Congress To Take On FCC

Over the weekend, the National Conference for Media Reform was held in Memphis, TN, with a number of notable speakers on hand for the event. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-OH) made an surprise appearance at the convention to announce that he would be heading up a new House subcommittee which will focus on issues surrounding the Federal Communications Commission.

The Presidential candidate said that the committee would be holding "hearings to push media reform right at the center of Washington.” The Domestic Policy Subcommittee of the House Government Reform Committee was to be officially announced this week in Washington, D.C., but Kucinich opted to make the news public early.

In addition to media ownership, the committee is expected to focus its attention on issues such as net neutrality and major telecommunications mergers. Also in consideration is the "Fairness Doctrine," which required broadcasters to present controversial topics in a fair and honest manner. It was enforced until it was eliminated in 1987.

Kucinich said in his speech that "We know the media has become the servant of a very narrow corporate agenda" and added "we are now in a position to move a progressive agenda to where it is visible."

Translation: We liberals are disgusted when any conservative is allowed to counter liberal lies. So we intend to make sure there are more CNNs and MSNBCs and less Fox News.

Here's our message to Dennis Kucinich: Drop dead.

Iranian Woman who Killed Her Rapist Cleared, But...

The sicko Muslims actually took a woman, Nazanin Afshin-Jam, who killed a man who tried to rape her, to death by hanging. In Islam, you have to understand, women must accept being raped or killed by the state.

Worldwide condemnation followed the sentencing, and on January 14 Nazanin was cleared of the death sentence. However, she will be forced to pay "blood money" - a fine to the family of the rapist.

Imagine that the rape victim must pay a fine to her rapist! Only in Islam!

Jan 14 : FANTASTIC NEWS: NAZANIN EXONERATED BUT...

Nazanin Afshin-Jam and Mina Ahadi spoke with Nazanin Fatehi's lawyers today regarding her retrial that took place on January 10th 2007.

They have received verbal confirmation from the court that she will be exonerated from the charge of murder. The incident that took place in March 2005 has been recognized as an act of self-defense, however the court has ruled that disproportionate force was used by Nazanin while trying to defend herself and her 15-year old niece. Accordingly, they have asked Nazanin to pay “dieh” (blood money) to receive a pardon from the family of the deceased. Once this amount is paid, Nazanin can be released from prison.

Shadi Sadr and Mr. Mostafaei, Nazanin Fatehi's laywers, are appealing this blood money because they believe that Nazanin is innocent for acting in self-defense and therefore she should not have to pay any money. Unfortunately, this appeal may take several months, so in the meantime arrangements may be made to have Nazanin released from prison by paying “bail” money into court.

Formal documentation should be available within days, including further details and specifics like the cost of bail and the cost of blood money.

And this is what the Muslims want to bring to the entire world. God help us all if they get their wish.

Nancy Pelosi Hypocrisy Found - Media Yawns

Nancy Pelosi (D-Nutjob), whom the American people in one of their lessen moments in using their brains made Speaker of the House last November, is showing just what a piece of inane crap she is.

Here's the story: in her rush to move an increase in the minimum wage through the Congress, Ms. Pelosi attached a small insert allowing companies with plants in American Samoa to avoid the rise.

American Samoa? What interest could Pelosi have in American Samoa?

Actually, the plant in American Samoa is owned by a company - with its headquarters right in Pelosi's district.

The media's reaction? Yawn - nothing to see here.

If Newt Gingrich, Tom Delay, or Dennis Hastert had done this, we would see hour long reports on "the Republican culture of corruption."

When Pelosi does it, however, we get a deafening silence.

GOP hits Pelosi's 'hypocrisy' on wage bill

House Republicans yesterday declared "something fishy" about the major tuna company in House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco district being exempted from the minimum-wage increase that Democrats approved this week.

"I am shocked," said Rep. Eric Cantor, Virginia Republican and his party's chief deputy whip, noting that Mrs. Pelosi campaigned heavily on promises of honest government. "Now we find out that she is exempting hometown companies from minimum wage. This is exactly the hypocrisy and double talk that we have come to expect from the Democrats."

On Wednesday, the House voted to raise the minimum wage from $5.15 to $7.25 per hour.

The bill also extends for the first time the federal minimum wage to the U.S. territory of the Northern Mariana Islands. However, it exempts American Samoa, another Pacific island territory that would become the only U.S. territory not subject to federal minimum-wage laws.

One of the biggest opponents of the federal minimum wage in Samoa is StarKist Tuna, which owns one of the two packing plants that together employ more than 5,000 Samoans, or nearly 75 percent of the island's work force. StarKist's parent company, Del Monte Corp., has headquarters in San Francisco, which is represented by Mrs. Pelosi. The other plant belongs to California-based Chicken of the Sea.

"There's something fishy going on here," said Rep. Patrick T. McHenry, North Carolina Republican.

When some media outlets (Fox News) pointed this out to Pelosi, she denied it was true - then said that StarKist had not lobbied her, and that the exemption would be removed.

Corruption, corruption, corruption. Isn't that what Ms. Pelosi called it when she was in the minority?

Barbara Boxer - American Imbecile

Senator Barbara Boxer of California has hit a new low for even her sick demented party - she chastized Secretary of State Rice for not having children, and implying this meant that she had no right to make decisions which affected the children of others.

BOXER'S LOW BLOW

Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer, an appalling scold from California, wasted no time yesterday in dragging the debate over Iraq about as low as it can go - attacking Secre tary of State Condoleezza Rice for being a childless woman.

Boxer was wholly in character for her party - New York's own two Democratic senators, Chuck Schumer and Hillary Rodham Clinton, were predictably opportunistic - but the Golden State lawmaker earned special attention for the tasteless jibes she aimed at Rice.

Rice appeared before the Senate in defense of President Bush's tactical change in Iraq, and quickly encountered Boxer.

"Who pays the price? I'm not going to pay a personal price," Boxer said. "My kids are too old, and my grandchild is too young."

Then, to Rice: "You're not going to pay a particular price, as I understand it, with an immediate family."

Breathtaking.

Simply breathtaking.

We scarcely know where to begin.

Imagine if, when Bill Clinton was sending others' sons and daughters to fight Serbia - a country which never attacked the United States or its interests - that a Republican Senator told Madeleine Albright that she should not make decisions regarding war because she had no children...one could almost see the feminists marching to the Senate steps to demand this Senator's resignation. And the media would be highlighting the slur.

But in the land where liberals can make up any crap they wish, this goes silent except for a few places.

As we like to say, "Read it all." In all of its sickening totality.

Australia Grows Some Balls, Rejects Building of Mosque

Australia, like the rest of the world, is in a fight to the death with Muslims and their "do it our way or die" attitude.

When some local Muslims wanted to build a mosque, the government told them no.

How refreshing!

Canberra vetoes mosque

ISLAMIC leaders are demanding an explanation from Foreign Minister Alexander Downer after plans for the Saudi Government to invest in the construction of an Adelaide mosque were vetoed by Canberra.

The Foreign Minister revealed yesterday that the Government objected to a proposal for Saudi cash to be injected into development of the new mosque, which is believed to be located at Park Holme in Adelaide's southern suburbs.

Mr Downer said federal authorities had also been investigating broad concerns on funding sourced from the Middle East after concerns that mosques could become breeding grounds for extremists.

"Obviously we don't want to see any extremist organisation penetrate into Australia," he said.

But Ali Vachor, secretary of the Islamic Society of South Australia, which manages the Park Holme mosque, told The Australian the decision had halted construction of the building. Mr Vachor said a "great portion" of funding for the development was being sourced from overseas and had not been approved. "What was required from the overseas party for them to send the money was permission from the Government, the concerned Government to sign a piece of paper," Mr Vachor said.

Construction was halted after the laying of a concrete slab and prayers are being conducted in a recreation room. Mr Vachor said yesterday the Islamic Society of South Australia would seek an urgent meeting with Mr Downer to determine the reasons behind the Government's decision.

Here is the explanation that the Australian government should give: We said no. It is our country. If you want to build the mosque, pick up your behinds and go to a country that will allow it. But we will not.

End of argument.

Germans Refuse to Try to End Terrorist Threat

On 9/11, some lunatics screamed that the US should have reacted quicker to the threat of aircraft being seized and even shot them down. It may have worked, or may not have - however, the possibility should exist that such an action could be taken.

In Germany, however, the dumpkopfs in the country are refusing to allow the government to have that same power - to shoot down terrorist aircraft - because it could be "a license to kill."

Apparently, some Germans would rather have 3,000 dead than 200.

Row Over Shooting Down Planes Rekindles in Germany

Germany's interior minister wants to change the constitution to allow the military to shoot down planes if terrorists use them as weapons. The plan has been harshly criticized by others.

Less than a year after Germany's highest court declared a law allowing the destruction of terrorist-controlled planes as unconstitutional, German Interior Minister Wolfgang Schäuble now plans to amend the constitution to allow this.

In its Tuesday edition, the Süddeutsche Zeitung quoted Schäuble, a member of Germany's conservative Christian Democratic Union, as saying that the amendment would create a so-called "de facto defense situation," which would allow Germany's military to shoot down the plane.

On Feb. 15, 2006, the high court had rejected a new law that would have allowed planes to be shot down. Judges said that it was impossible to weigh the lives of people on the ground against the innocent passengers sitting in the plane.

Politicians across the political spectrum have already rejected the idea.

"Schäuble is trying to side-step the constitutional court," Volker Beck of the opposition Greens party told Netzeitung, adding that German parliamentarians should not create a "license to kill."

This is precisely why liberals should not be in charge of governments. They are a danger to themselves and everyone around them.

US Attack in Somalia Leaves al-Qaeda Suspects Dead; Arab League Gets Upset

In attacking the Union of Islamic Court members who are running for their lives (which they call "a strategic withdrawal") in Somalia, it appears that the United States killed one of the most wanted al-Qaeda members still at large.

U.S. reportedly targeted 20 in Somalia

MOGADISHU, Somalia - Ethiopia's prime minister said Wednesday the U.S. military targeted 20 high-level members of an Islamic movement linked to al-Qaida in an airstrike this week in southern Somalia, attacking quickly before the Islamists could escape.

The chief of staff for the Somali president claimed that a senior al-Qaida figure was killed in Monday's airstrike, although U.S. officials did not confirm it.

The air assault has been criticized internationally, with the African Union, European Union and United Nations among those expressing concern. But British Prime Minister Tony Blair told lawmakers it was right to stand up to extremists who were using violence to "get their way" in Somalia.

Aw, shit - concern! We express concern! Don't kill those Muslim terrorists! Don't harm the Muslim fanatics! Please! Have some mercy on them!

Of course, the most hilarious bullshit comes from the sick fucks at The Arab League ("Representing Muslim Assholes Since Who Knows When"), who mourn, cry, and agitate at the thought of some of their fellow Islamic terrorist brethren being sent to Mohammed's hell.

US attack in Somalia killed innocents-Arab League

CAIRO, Jan 10 (Reuters) - The Arab League said on Wednesday U.S. military action in Somalia had killed "many innocent victims" and demanded that Washington refrain from such attacks.

Somali officials said U.S. and Ethiopian aircraft struck new targets in Somalia on Wednesday as they hunted al Qaeda suspects and defeated Islamist fighters.

But U.S. officials said there had been no new U.S. air strikes in Somalia since an operation on Monday, and Ethiopia's Prime Minister Meles Zenawi also said there had been only one U.S. air attack with no civilian casualties.

U.S. government sources said U.S. ally Ethiopia, which defeated Islamist forces in a lightning war last month, had conducted further air strikes since Monday.

In Cairo, the Arab League's Assistant Secretary-General Ahmed Ben Hilli said: "We demand that these strikes which now target civilians and led to the killing of many innocent victims be stopped."

"There was no U.N. Security Council authorisation for the U.S. forces to hit Somali areas," he told reporters.

Ben Hilli also criticised the interim Somali government for backing the air strikes. "We'd hoped they'd care about for the sovereignty of their country ... instead of calling for foreign intervention," he said.

Someone should send a letter to Ben Hilli, or Ben Chilli, or whatever the fuck his name is: Up your fucking Muslim ass, imbecile. And drop dead while you are at it.

There - that sounds better.

University Threatens Jews Who Challenge Muslims

Here is a story guaranteed to make all but the slimiest Muslims and their liberal allies puke: a university in the United States threatened a Jewish group with the police if they showed a film about Islam.

In America, we now have people being banned from speaking out against Islam and the threat it poses to the nation.

And the slide towards destruction continues, aided by sick, pathetic liberals.

PACE'S DOCU DRAMA; BIGS 'THREATEN' JEWS

January 9, 2007 -- Pace University administrators threatened to sic the cops on a Jewish-student club if it went ahead with plans to screen a critically acclaimed film about radical Islam, the head of the group charged yesterday.

Michael Abdurakhmanov, president of Pace Hillel, said two deans warned that showing the documentary film would implicate club members as suspects in two hate crimes involving the desecration of the Koran at the university's lower-Manhattan campus last fall.

In addition, Abdurakhmanov said an assistant dean physically restrained him as he attempted to defend the film and his group in a meeting with administrators.

"The message was pretty clear, if you show this film, you're going to incriminate yourself," Abdurakhmanov said.

Pace spokesman Chris Cory acknowledged that officials encouraged Hillel to postpone the screening until tensions over the hate crimes dissipated, but dismissed the accusations of coercion as "far-fetched," "implausible" and "unprofessional."

Hillel had planned to screen "Obsession" during Judaism Awareness Week in November. The school stepped in after receiving complaints from Muslim students that the film negatively portrayed Islam.

We have two Korans in a toilet - big fucking deal.

We have no suspects, and no ties between the act and these Jewish students.

And we have a university caving in to Muslim fanatics.

Notice that the ACLU is silent. Now, if the university had refused to allow a Muslim film, the ACLU would be in federal court getting a restraining order.

Islam Heads Into the 3rd Century AD

In Islamic countries, women have no rights, are virtual slaves of their husbands, and can be murdered at a moment's notice.

Now, to settle a score, one family has to "hand over" their daughter to a rival family as payment.

Only is Islamic countries...

Tribesman to hand over daughter to rivals

PESHAWAR, Jan 6: A tribal notable in Mohmand Agency is set to hand over his minor daughter to his rivals for settling a feud in accordance with the decision of a jirga. Members of Malik Syed Mahmood Jan’s family told Dawn that he had authorised the jirga to take a decision for settling the feud and had accepted the verdict.

Elder brother of the girl, Irfan Mohmand, has requested the chief justice of Pakistan and the NWFP governor to take notice of the issue, saying that his sister might be handed over to the rival family in a couple of days. The girl is about 16 years old and a student of class 9.

The written agreement, a copy of which has been provided to Dawn, states that the daughter of Malik Jan would be married to one Tehseenullah, nephew of Daftar Khan.

“Initially, the agreement contained the word swara but later the jirga members removed it and stated instead that the girl would be married to the nephew of Daftar as the chief justice was hearing cases against the custom,” said the girl’s brother.

He said that under the custom of swara in their area, nikah of the girl was not performed at her parents’ house and she was left at the residence of the rival group. “It is up to the rival family to decide her fate.” He said his sister had shifted to the home of their maternal uncle in Charsadda but their father was influential and he might take her away forcibly.

“My sister has said she will commit suicide if she is handed over to the rival family,” he added.

And the liberals in America and around the world are ready to support these subhumans as they attempt to take over the world.

Nancy Pelosi: Punish Republican Crooks, Protect Downie Crooks

Newly instituted Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, who ran on ending the "culture of corruption" in Washington, apparently is not ready to end the Downie culture of corruption, as she moves to protect Downie crooks from the law.

And the MSM's reaction? One large yawn.

Pelosi Discusses Mollohan, Ney Scandals

Former Congressman Bob Ney is headed to prison, but will still receive a $30,000 a year pension.

West Virginia's Alan Mollohan is under investigation by the Justice Department, but will now chair a committee which oversees that same department.

And in an interview with NEWS9, newly elected Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said she's not ready to stiffen penalties against either of the men.

Less than 24 hours after taking over as House speaker, Pelosi took NEWS9 cameras on a tour of the Capitol. There, she said she will still allow Mollohan to hold his powerful position which oversees the budget of the Justice Department -- the very people investigating his financial dealings.

"Quite frankly, I think the Justice Department is looking into every member of Congress. I always say to everybody, 'You're now going to get a free review of your family tree -- past, present and future, imagined and otherwise,'" Pelosi said.

With regard to Ney, Pelosi said she was not totally in favor of passing a law to cut off his pension.

"When something like this happens, the wrongdoing of the member has an impact on the family, and that is one of the arguments against it," Pelosi said.

So, here is Nancy Pelosi's message: if you are a Republican crook, watch out! If you are a Downie crook, we will protect you.

Hypocrisy, hypocrisy, hypocrisy.

Palestinian "Cleric" Gunned Down - Pallies Shoot Each Other, Ignore Jews

Another Palestinian "cease-fire" has gone the way of the dodo, and now a "cleric" (Arabic for "Fucking Islamic Lunatic who Preaches Hate Towards Jews") has been shot and killed.

Let us say this: when Palestinians kill each other, they seem to have less time to blow up Jews. So much the better that Pallies are dying left and right.

Cleric gunned down in Gaza after plea for calm

GAZA (Reuters) - Unidentified gunmen shot dead a Muslim cleric after he delivered a sermon in the Gaza Strip on Friday calling for an end to fierce factional fighting between Hamas and Fatah, hospital officials and local residents said.

The cleric's shooting in central Gaza came hours after Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh of Hamas said he and President Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah had agreed to keep rival gunmen off Gaza's streets after clashes in which eight were killed.

Tension was high across the coastal strip as thousands of Palestinians loyal to Fatah took part in funeral marches for a commander killed in a barrage of rocket-propelled grenades fired by Hamas gunmen on Thursday.

Brushing aside Haniyeh's plea for calm, Fatah issued a statement in Gaza: "Blood for blood and aggression for aggression ... and all the sons of the movement should retaliate to each aggression openly."

The cleric, who was in a car when the gunmen opened fire, was not affiliated to any faction. No group claimed responsibility for the shooting, which occurred after prayers at a mosque in the Maghazi refugee camp.

At one of the funeral marches, members of Fatah's al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades threatened to assassinate Foreign Minister Mahmoud al-Zahar and Interior Minister Saeed Seyam of Hamas.

"Zahar and Seyam, you have to leave Gaza. We will tear your bodies to pieces," an al-Aqsa member shouted at the crowd.

Let the Pally blood run. Let it run.

Behold: the B.O. and Stink of Muslims is now...Perfume!

Hezbollah, that funny bunch of insane Muslim maniacs, is now branching out into the area of hygiene (a first for them), as they market the new "Divine Victory" perfume.

Your goal: to tell whether it is from the sweat of Hassan Nasrallah, the head of Hezbollah, or from a dead donkey.

Lebanon: 'Divine victory' perfume on sale

A new perfume carrying the "scent of resistance" and celebrating Hizbullah's "divine victory" has been released on the market in Lebanon, according to a report which appeared in the Lebanese Daily Star last week.

"If you've ever wondered what resistance smells like, then try a dab of 'Resistance Perfume,' which comes 'exclusively' with a political message and a picture of Hizbullah's secretary general, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah," the Daily Star article said.

"Apparently, the scent of resistance is a strong and musky one that comes with a single pledge – 'a truthful' one," the report added.

A slogan on the perfume box, quoting Nasrallah during a wartime speech made over the summer reads: "You are the truthful promise ... and I have great faith in you and I promise you divine victory."

The Daily Star added that the package comes with "a digitally manipulated picture of a sinking ship, meant to represent the 'Israeli' warship damaged by a Hizbullah missile during the conflict, along with reprints of Nasrallah's speeches and messages from the 'Lebanese prisoners in 'Israeli' prisons.'"

Islamic perfume! What will these subhumans think of next?

More Shit from Sick Muslims: "Hitler Was Jewish"

Despite the fact that Muslims supported the mass murder of Adolf Hitler, they now spend their time in full-on denial that the murders of millions of Jews took place, namely because millions of Muslims cannot defeat the state of Israel, and because the entire Muslim world has a combined IQ of 18.

But this story reaches the crescendo of absolute insanity, as another Muslim asshole makes shit up and calls it fact: an aide to Mahmoudy "the Goatfucker" Ahmadinejad of Iran says that Hitler was Jewish, his mother was a whore, and that he worked with Britain to get the Jews expelled from Europe so that they could have their own state called Israel.

Mohammad Ali Ramin, Advisor to Iranian President Ahmadinejad: 'Hitler Was Jewish'

Adolf Hitler... Developed an Aversion to Judaism Because His Mother Was a Jewish Whore
"The Bolshevik Soviet government in Lenin's time, and later, in Stalin's - both of whom were Jewish, though they presented themselves as Marxists and atheists... - was one of the forces that, until the Second World War, cooperated with Hitler in promoting the idea of establishing the State of Israel. A book that was published about this... - titled Adolf Hitler, Founder of Israel by Hennecke Kardel, a German born in 1922 - proves that Hitler was Jewish, and that his grandmother was a Jewish prostitute. [Hitler's] father went by his mother's Jewish name until he was 40, and later changed his surname to Hitler.

"Adolf Hitler himself developed an aversion to Judaism because his mother was a Jewish whore. He first received [negative] information about the Jews in an Austrian monastery, (the book presents details and pictures of it), and from then on, he [tried] to escape his Judaism.

"Thus... Hitler simultaneously developed both feelings of solidarity with Judaism and feelings of hatred towards it, and this emotional ambivalence shaped his behavior towards the Jews. On the one hand, his entire family, the people who shared his views, and his associates who brought him into power and stood by him to the last - including his lovers and his personal doctor - were [all] Jewish. On the other hand, he welcomed the policy of expelling the Jews from Central Europe for two other reasons: Firstly, the establishment of a Jewish government in Palestine was an aspiration of the rich and influential Jews who surrounded him. Secondly, exiling the Jews from Europe and Germany was a general and historical demand of the Western Christian nations. With the full support of the British, and in coordination with them, Hitler addressed this general demand and [thereby] managed to gain widespread popularity in Europe. Obviously, publishing writings and information of this sort is forbidden in Germany and in the West...

In a recent investigation, it was discovered that:

1. Mahmoudy "The Goatfucker" Ahmadinejad is the son of a goat and an Iranian prostitute. In a recent interview, the goat says that he had nothing to do with Mahmoudy because the Iranian smells from lack of bathing.

2. Mahmoudy was found to be brain-damaged with an IQ of 3, making him one of the smartest Muslims in the world.

3. Iran's national sport, goat fucking, came about because Muslims, who hate to pay for sex, can fuck their animals and the animals don't ask for money.

Sydney Morning Herald Opinion: "A Palestinian State? No Chance"

The Australian newspaper The Sydney Morning Herald published an opinion piece which should be read world-wide: it shows why the Palestinians should never have a state.

We stand back and ask that this be read in its entirety, because it makes more sense than all the people who keep saying that those subhumans deserve a state of their own.

A sovereign Palestine? No chance

The level of conflict between the Palestinian parties simmers just below the level of civil war, even as the spoils keep shrinking. The open wound inspires strong reactions among millions of people around the world with no direct stake in the problem.

For the sake of reality, let's put aside whatever views and prejudices you may hold on the Palestinian question. Put aside any animosity about grasping Jews or murderous Arabs. Put aside the Holocaust, and Muslim anti-Semitism. Put aside hopes and judgements. Simply look at what has happened on the ground. Stripped of all emotion and prejudice, right and wrong, one reality becomes clear: there is no chance of a sovereign, autonomous Palestinian state. Not within our lifetimes. No chance. None.

Not only won't there be a sovereign Palestinian state, there can't be.

It's no longer viable. At every historic juncture since Israel was created in 1948, rhetoric has taken precedence over pragmatism in the Arab world. As a result, every one of these historic junctions has resulted, without exception, in material defeat for the Palestinians.

Compare this fenced-off community of today with 20 years ago, before the intifadas. The Palestinian workforce was integrated into the Israeli economy, with relatively free movement into Israel. Education and health systems were built, universities opened, local governments were functioning, corruption was minimal, and life expectancy had soared from 47 under Arab rule to 68. Then came Yasser Arafat and Fatah.

"Fatah is the mafia," Abu Toameh told me. "It is responsible for most of the anarchy on the West Bank. Fatah is a monster." Nor does he think much of Hamas, though he thinks it is much less corrupt, much more competent, and more pragmatic. He believes the West erred shockingly in trusting and subsiding Fatah and has now mishandled the transition to Hamas.

"But on the Muslim side, the message has always been 'No', and 'No', and 'No'. They quote the Koran: God is on the side of the patient . . .

"And what is the West Bank now? It is six Arab cities, two refugee camps, 150 villages. A series of cantons, with no economic base. And Gaza? An awful place."

A well-reasoned argument, no?

Check out the closing line:

Sixty years of years of "No" has put an end to a sovereign Palestinian state, indefinitely. This pawn has been sacrificed in a much larger game.

Classic. Simply classic. And sensical.
