Carl Levin: Worried About Losing a Vote, not Worried About Losing a War

Senator Carl Levin of Michigan is one of the leaders pushing to make sure that America loses the war in Iraq. He has placed his own horribly inflated ego above the interests of his country.

He is upset, however - because if the anti-war scum lose the vote in the Senate, we might actually win the war. Levin is pissed - to him, to lose the vote is intolerable, but to lose the war is no big deal.

2 Demos push anti-war measure

Two leading Senate Democrats sought to build support Sunday for a bipartisan resolution opposing President Bush's war strategy in Iraq, cautioning that division over whether the measure goes far enough could spell defeat.

"The worst thing we can do is to vote on something which is critical of the current policy and lose it," said Sen. Carl Levin, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. "The public doesn't support his policy; a majority of the Congress doesn't support his policy."

"If we lose that vote, the president will use the defeat of a resolution as support for his public policy," said Levin, D-Mich.

With people like this sitting in a position of power, this country is guaranteed to go downhill.

Never let it be said that Carl Levin was a patriotic American. He is just a thug in a suit.
