The US is on the Verge of Defeating Al Qaeda, and The Media is AWOL
We are currently almost near victory in Iraq, despite the Downercrats' and the American media's focus on defeat, defeat, defeat, because unless the Downercrats and their plans for full-scale surrender to Islamic terror are all elected this November (and in full control of the US government), the world may actually win the war against Islamic terror, which, to thugs like The New York Times, Keith Dimbulb and Newsweak, is tantamount to the end of the world.
So, where is the reporting on this? In the Times of London. Not on NBC. Not on CBS. Not on ABC. Not on CNN. And certainly not on MSDNC. Some of Fox, but not enough.

And how does the "Surrender Now" crowd at the BBC report on this? Of course - "Female bomber kills nine in Iraq."

Here is a prediction: if Obama wins, watch him claim victory next year in Iraq because he somehow "changed the mission to victory." If things go bad because he is a foolish fuck and pulls out the troops too early, he will blame George W. Bush and the GOP for starting the war in the first place. And the slavish media will love every second of it, despite it being completely false.

American and Iraqi forces are driving Al-Qaeda in Iraq out of its last redoubt in the north of the country in the culmination of one of the most spectacular victories of the war on terror.
After being forced from its strongholds in the west and centre of Iraq in the past two years, Al-Qaeda’s dwindling band of fighters has made a defiant “last stand” in the northern city of Mosul.
A huge operation to crush the 1,200 fighters who remained from a terrorist force once estimated at more than 12,000 began on May 10.
Operation Lion’s Roar, in which the Iraqi army combined forces with the Americans’ 3rd Armoured Cavalry Regiment, has already resulted in the death of Abu Khalaf, the Al-Qaeda leader, and the capture of more than 1,000 suspects.
The group has been reduced to hit-and-run attacks, including one that killed two off-duty policemen yesterday, and sporadic bombings aimed at killing large numbers of officials and civilians.

Female bomber kills nine in Iraq
A female suicide bomber has killed nine people and wounded 12 others in an attack on an Iraqi market, police said.
The attack took place in the al-Mafraq area west of Baquba in Diyala province, about 50 km (30 miles) north-east of the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
The use of women to carry out suicide bombings has become a regular tactic of al-Qaeda in Iraq.
The US military says there have been more than 20 suicide bombings by women this year in Iraq.
A BBC reporter in Baquba says women and children were among the casualties in Monday's attack.
