Man Arrested in Potential Illinois Terror Plot...But Why was He Arrested?

A man has been arrested in Illinois after planning to blow up a mall near Christmas with hand grenades.

But, for some unknown reason, information on the religion of the defendant is missing.

Can you help us out to discover what religion the man is?

Suspect Arrested In Alleged Illinois Terror Plot

A 22-year-old Rockford man with an ambition to become a terrorist has been arrested by federal authorities on allegations that he planned to set off grenades in garbage cans in a mall in Rockford.

Derrick Shareef, of Rockford, was arrested on Wednesday by FBI agents from the Chicago Joint Terrorism Task Force, the U.S. Attorney's office said.

He was arraigned on the charges early Friday afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Maria Valdez.

Shareef was apprehended after meeting with an undercover agent in a Rockford store parking lot to trade a set of stereo speaksers for four hand grenades and a handgun, the U.S. Attorney's office said.

Fascinating...simply fascinating!

However, we still do not know what religion this man is!

Let's read on...how about the blurb on the side of the story?

Law enforcement officials say the man was a U.S. citizen, and planned to commit some sort of terrorist attack in Chicago. The man had "ideas and desires, but no means," law enforcement sources said.

So, he was an "American citizen"! Of what religion, please?

Of course, the politically-correct story does not use the words that they should:

The man is a Muslim. He is an American Muslim.

Mall bomb suspect's mother shocked at his arrest

Even before federal agents said they foiled his terrorism plot, Derrick Shareef's growing commitment to radical Islam worried his mother.

Marie Dunn didn't like the traditional Muslim clothing her 22-year-old son began wearing. She expressed concerns about the people with whom he had become involved.

“He just started dressing to the extreme,” she said.

The garb made Dunn uncomfortable in part because she worried it would single out her family. As one of the few black families in homogenous Genoa, she says they didn't need another reason to call attention to themselves.

The family, however, now finds itself at the center of a national news story after Shareef's arrest earlier this week. Federal prosecutors have accused him of plotting a grenade-driven terrorist attack on a busy Rockford mall during the holiday season.

Even though his mother believes he did not mean to hurt anyone, she was disturbed by his move to "radical Islam." Sorry, lady, but that is Islam, not radical Islam.

If this thug were a Christian, a Jew, or a Buddhist, he would not be planning to attack people in a mall with grenades. But since he is a Muslim, a piece of information important to the story, the PC media sees no reason to tell you that.

After all, Muslims have such a wonderful track record in dealing with human beings they do not like.
