It is now four weeks since the Downercrats, running on the platform of "elect us, and we will pull all of the troops out of Iraq, and fast!" mantra, won control of Congress.
As we have shown here, the MSM in America is now starting to print stories that show that the Downercrats were never serious about any of their alleged promises made before the election, and that the MSM knew this - and that they could care less if they were all lies.
Idea of Rapid Withdrawal From Iraq Seems to Fade
In the cacophony of competing plans about how to deal with Iraq, one reality now appears clear: despite the Democrats’ victory this month in an election viewed as a referendum on the war, the idea of a rapid American troop withdrawal is fast receding as a viable option.
The Times' reporter then goes on to mention how generals all dismiss any quick withdrawal - something they have been doing for a long time.
Now, however, the MSM is safely past the election. So if they report that "hell, the Downercrats made shit up to get elected," who is to care? After all, they don't. They are just thrilled that those evil Republicans are out of power, and they can continue to use the terms "civil war" and "lame duck" in their myriad of bullshit.
