Alan Hevesi: Downie Crook Forced to Resign
When Mark Foley was forced to resign from the US House for being a pervert, the MSM had lengthy programs on about another pol caught in the crooked net.
Alan Hevesi, NY State Comptroller, was also caught - except he is a real crook.
The MSM response? YAWN. NOTHING TO SEE HERE...MOVE ON.
We have discussed Hevesi before - this past June when he said that President Bush should have a bullet aimed at his head - for which Hevesi should have been arrested, and an October story pinpointing his corrupt use of state funds and employees for his own personal use. Now that the mid-term elections have safely passed, Hevesi will resign and plead guilty to misdemeanors.

NY's Hevesi to resign after pleading guilty: judge
ALBANY (Reuters) - New York state Comptroller Alan Hevesi will resign January 1 after pleading guilty to a felony charge of defrauding the government, Albany County judge Stephen Herrick said on Friday.
The guilty plea stems from a criminal probe by Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares into Hevesi's use of state workers to chauffeur his wife and his failure to immediately reimburse the state.
Herrick said the sentencing is scheduled for February 9 and Hevesi could face up to four years in prison and a $5,000 fine.
Now, imagine if this had come out before the election.
