Bush Approval Up; MSM Calls it "Slumping"

For months now, the MSM in America has made a note of mentioning President Bush's job approval ratings - and whether they rise or stay the same, the dumb liberal media continues to call them "slumping" or even "plummeting." How can something that stays the same be slumping? Of course, when it comes to liberals, they make no sense - so what else is new?

In this hilarious vein, we find that a new poll shows Bush's numbers now in the low 40s - more than 10 points higher than just a few weeks ago. What does the media call this rise? Sagging, that's what.

Poll says bin Laden catch no help for Bush

NEW YORK, June 8 (UPI) -- The capture of Osama bin Laden likely would do little to help President Bush's approval ratings, a new poll indicates.

Same goes for the death Wednesday of Iraqi al-Qaida leader Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, insofar as a Bush boost in popularity, pollster John Zogby says. Zarqawi was killed in a U.S. airstrike Wednesday.

Of the 1,538 respondents to the Zogby interactive survey, most said it was important to catch bin Laden but felt it would not help the president's overall sagging job status of 42 percent.

Notice - a poll was conducted asking people how they would react IF bin Laden was caught. How can we have a reaction and a poll for something that has not happened?

If we can, how about this poll: "If the Democrats advocate surrendering in Iraq, would you vote for them?"

Or this: "If Harry Reid and/or Nancy Pelosi were indicted for corruption, would you vote to make them leaders in the US Congress?"

Neither has happened - but it could. So, media - how about a poll asking these hypothetical questions?
