When a Kennedy is hurt or injured - unless it is while driving a limo into the water and leaving a female occupant of the limo to drown - the media stops to take note. If this were any other politician, this story would get a YAWN! from an editor and not be run at all. But a Kennedy? Come on!
Kennedy receives stitches after injury at business meeting
PAWTUCKET, R.I. --U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy received stitches Wednesday after being hit with a hammer head during an economic development meeting.
Kennedy met with a Wisconsin entrepreneur interested in relocating to Rhode Island. Matt Kriesel produces Impact Gel, a shock-absorbing material used sports-shoe inserts, tennis rackets and horse saddles.
Kriesel was hitting some gel with a hammer to demonstrate how it reduces vibration when the hammer's head flew off and hit Kennedy in the mouth.
They should have left the hammer lodged in his mouth. Patrick Kennedy has never said anything worth listening to, anyway.
