NY Times: The Economy is Great, the Economy is Expanding, the Economy is Booming, BUT...

The NY Times, once one of the world's greatest newspapers but now a sad liberal/Marxist lying rag whose daily errors of fact are beyond counting, has some new bullshit: the economy is expanding, the economy is booming...and then has that old liberal "but":

Sales of New Homes Stay Strong in October, Setting Record

Gasoline is cheaper than it was before Hurricane Katrina slammed into New Orleans. Consumer confidence jumped last month and new home sales hit a record. The stock market has been rising. Even the nation's beleaguered factories appear to be headed for a happy holiday season.

By most measures, the economy appears to be doing just fine. No, scratch that, it appears to be booming.

But as always with the United States economy, it is not quite that simple.

When Bill Clinton came into office and the economy was doing great, it WAS that simple. Somehow, the Times credits Downies when the economy is good. When George W. Bush is President, "it is not quite that simple." This is old bullshit from the Marxist scum at the Times, who refuse to admit that Bush's tax cuts are the sole reason that 9/11 did not plunge the economy into recession or worse.

The Times practices Paul Slugman Economics - Downies get good news, Republicans are blamed. Simple leftist baloney, as usual.
