The Guardian, the cheap leftwing rag out of London, England, is now stating that those hundreds of thousands of people put to death in Iraq by Saddam Hussein are "alleged crimes." It appears these people were alleged to death.
Perhaps someone can explain to us why liberals continue to protect the likes of Mao, and Pol Pot, and Castro, and Milosevic, and now Saddam Hussein. Why?
Alleged crimes of Saddam Hussein
Former Iraqi president Saddam Hussein goes on trial in Baghdad today charged with killing 148 people in Dujail following an assassination attempt on him during a visit to the village. He may also face charges in relation to other alleged atrocities committed in the country, as detailed in the following reports from the Guardian archive.
Yup, those crimes are alleged. Whoa - now we hear that Stalin and Mao may have allegedly killed millions. More at 11.
