Amnesty International Exposed as Left-Wing Group
Imagine for a moment, if you will, that an international group criticized Bill Clinton when he was in office - and mocked his leadership of the United States. Then it was discovered that this group and its leaders were funding the campaigns of noted Republicans. Downies, and their friends in the "media," would be outraged...there would be calls for investigations, and the "media" would rightfully claim that this group was just biased against Clinton. They would be written off.
So how come the dead silence when it is discovered that those leftists who are in charge of Amnesty International, a group so far left that it feels that the US is worse when it comes to human rights than North Korea or Cuba, were busily funding the campaign of Senator John Kerry in 2004 election - and is helping Senator Ted Kennedy in his 2006 re-election effort?

That the left is full of liars and crooks and thieves is not new news. Or that they are hypocrites. But what irks, what gets in one's craw, is that the American media is just as crooked and just as hypocritical. This is why no one takes them seriously any more.

The top leadership of Amnesty International USA, which unleashed a blistering attack last week on the Bush administration's handling of war detainees, contributed the maximum $2,000 to Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign.
Federal Election Commission records show that William F. Schulz, executive director of Amnesty USA, contributed $2,000 to Mr. Kerry's campaign last year. Mr. Schulz also has contributed $1,000 to the 2006 campaign of Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, Massachusetts Democrat.
