The Canadian Minister of "Armed Forces": Blocked by Terrorist Watch List?

I was quite surprised to learn that there was a "Canadian Minister of Armed Forces" - his name is Bill Graham. Considering that Canada has no armed forces except some men in gowns and skirts ("the pink contingent"), and could be invaded by Iceland and lose a war, it appears to be no big deal if said Mr. Graham was blocked from getting on a plane because his name is on a terrorist watch list - even if the story was denied.

U.S. denies Canada minister on 'no-fly list'

OTTAWA, Canada (Reuters) -- The U.S. embassy in Canada denied a newspaper story on Wednesday that said Canadian Defence Minister Bill Graham had trouble boarding a plane because his name was on a U.S. no-fly list designed to deter terrorists.

The Globe and Mail article said Graham had to wait while his staff found ways to vouch for his identity and ensure he made it on to the scheduled flight to the United States in January.

I personally think that any watch list that keeps Canadians out of the US, especially phonies who claim to be a "Minister of Armed Forces," is a good, good idea.

Anyway, when I hear of "Bill Graham," I think of THIS person, not some doofus Canadian.
